chapter 3

Hey, to anyone who's actually still reading this, thank you for being so patient with me! this is dedicated to my lovely vam goddess, karin! loads of kisses to you my love!

*indicates thoughts*

Ville avoided Bam for the rest of the day, doing and redoing jobs so that he wouldn't have to face him. Finally dragging himself into the house long after sunset, he was shocked to find the table set, food and drink already out and Bam waiting for him.

"Hey, I was just about to come and find you so the food didn't go cold."

"Oh, uh thanks, I guess." Ville stammered, trying to take in the unusual scene. Bam seemed to catch on because he smirked across the table at him.

"I'm like a fucking housewife! All I need now is an apron and a kid clinging to my leg."

Pulling out his chair and sitting down, Ville laughed at the image Bam had created. "Are you any good at cooking or cleaning?"

"Hell no! I don't do that, that's what Ape's there for!" Bam exclaimed, only half joking.

"You wouldn't be much of a housewife then would you." Ville grinned. "The house would fall to pieces."

"Nah, it'd be fine, I'd just hire a housekeeper."

"And how would we afford to employ a housekeeper?"

"I'm a millionaire remember, I can afford it." Bam paused, then grinned evily as Ville innocently speared a piece of potato and lifted it towards his mouth. "It means I could spend longer in bed fucking you senseless."

Just as predicted, Ville choked on his food. "What? I can't believe you just said that." Ville gasped out through his coughing fit.

"I don't know what you're acting so innocent about." Bam said, trying to keep a straight face. "It's only my second full day here and already you're planning our future together."

"But you were the one...." Ville started to retaliate but quickly realized that he was being played again. "Would you stop doing that, it makes me nervous."

"That's only cause you're still in the closet, once I drag you out kicking and screaming you'll be fine with it."

Ville was blushing profusely now and completely unsure of how to react. He'd never had another man talk to him like that before and it unnerved him. It was also moments like this that he started to think that maybe Bam was right, maybe he was just in denial about his sexuality.

*Don't be stupid Ville, just because you can appreciate that he's good looking, you don't have to go overboard and start questioning your sexuality.* He told himself fiercely. *You're as straight as you've always been.* And as he ate his late dinner, he steadfastly ignored the voice in his head that kept insisting that maybe he'd never been as straight as he liked to think he was.

If it had just been him and his thoughts, he would have no problem ignoring the whole situation but there was no way Bam could possibly be ignored, especially when he was relaying a story like the one he was currently telling.

"So there he was, pounding into me, which is the best feeling in the world by the way, when his brother yelled up the stairs that he was going to be late for work again. When he got up straight away and got dressed I'll admit I was a bit pissed off that he was just gonna run and not even finish what we'd started, but as soon as I was dressed he grabbed my hand and dragged me along to work with him."

Bam stopped to make sure that he still had a captive audience and once he was satified that Ville was still listening intently to what he had to say, he continued.

"He worked at a truck stop and thankfully he was doing the night shift and there wasn't anybody around because as soon as we were alone he slammed me against the counter, bent me over it and fucked me senseless, honestly, I couldn't walk properly for days! There was a downside to the whole situation though, we forgot that there was a security camera and Brett's manager saw it all the next day. Brett got fired and I'm still not allowed back in that truck stop. It was so worth it though!"

Ville gulped audibly as Bam finished his story. It wasn't the fact that he'd told him that bothered him, it was his body's reaction to it.He was suddenly thankful that he was covered by the kitchen table because he wasn't sure how he'd be able to explain the obvious bulge in his pants otherwise.

"Don't tell me I've made you nervous again." Bam smirked, mistaking Ville's silence for discomfort. "Gay sex is the most natural thing in the world, I don't see why it upsets so many people."

"How is two men having sex with each other natural?" Ville asked incredulously.

"Well if it's not and I'm wrong then how come the male G spot is in his ass?"

"Well....Because it's...that's actually a really good question." And it was. Ville considered himself a reasonably intelligent man and he found himself wondering why most people never thought of that. "I guess I didn't think about that."

"I didn't think you had." Bam smirked. "And of course there's the obvious reason to do it."

"And what's that?" Ville could hardly believe that he was sitting in his kitchen discussing gay sex with a man he'd only met a few days ago but he had to admit he was enjoying having someone to talk to over dinner for a change, even if the topic of conversation was a little uncomfortable for him.

"A man knows what feels good, where to touch to get the most pleasure. A woman can only really guess."

At Ville's slightly shocked expression, Bam sighed. "Are you telling me that you've never even been slightly attracted to another man? Be honest."

Weighing up his options, Ville decided that he might as well tell the truth, knowing that the skater wouldn't be able to tell anyone. "I did once when I was in high school but that was the only time."

"So what happened?"

"My parents found out that I had a crush on someone in the choir I was in and they wanted to know who, so I told them who he was."

"What did they say?" Bam asked curiously.

"They pulled me out of the choir and forbade me to ever see him again. I also had to go to church straight after school every day for 6 months and pray for my sin to be forgiven."

"Holy shit." Bam looked horrified. "You do know that you hadn't actually done anything wrong don't you?" He was talking gently like you would to a wounded animal, like he thought that talking about the memory had damaged his mentality somehow and he had to make sure that Ville wouldn't break down.

"I guess so. My parents were just doing what they thought was best."

"Yeah well, they failed. All they succeeded in doing was making their son grow up repressed and afraid of his true sexuality."

"I have nothing to be afraid of because I'm straight." Ville replied angrily, becoming defensive at Bam's words.

"Bullshit. If your parents hadn't made you belive your feelings were wrong then you could have ended up happily in a relationship with that guy and living your life a completely different way, you might have actually been happy with your life."

"There's nothing wrong with my life the way it is, so keep your nose out of my business." Ville fumed. "I'm going to bed, you'll be fine to work tomorrow so make sure you're on time." He pushed himself away from the table and left the room, leaving his food half eaten and Bam to clean it all up.

The next few days weren't as awkward as Ville thought they were going to be as Bam had apologized as soon as he'd seen him the next day. Ville had forgiven him and they'd gone back to the friendly banter that they'd become accustomed to.

Unfortunately, it wasn't as easy for Ville as he'd pretended. Bam's words had stuck with him and were slowly breaking their way through all the hard work his parents had done at masking his sexuality. And as each negative thing his parents had told him fell away and was replaced by Bam's blunt but honest theories, the more he realized how much he desired the skater. He'd convinced himself it would be ok though, all he had to do was control his feelings til the end of the week and then he'd never have to see the other man again. Easy, right?

*******************

All of the jobs had been done for the day, early for once and yet again Bam wasn't in the place Ville had left him in. Sighing good naturedly, Ville headed over to the stables where he knew Bam would be. Since being at the ranch, Bam had discovered a love for horses and he spent most of his free time there, feeding, grooming and sometimes just talking to the elegant creatures.

Ville stood in the doorway trying to hold in his laughter as an oblivious Bam told the uninterested horses all about his day, before going over to join him.

"You really do love these horses, maybe I should put your bed out here with them after all!" Ville commented jokingly.

"Believe me, I don't love them enough for that, it gets fucking cold out here!" Bam grinned back. "They're beautiful animals though."

"Have you ever ridden?" Ville asked, an idea coming to him.

Bam's grin was positively dirty. "Such personal questions Ville, are you sure you can handle the answer?!" Bam replied mock seductively.

"Horse riding Bam, I meant horse riding." Ville blushed, flushing even darker as Bam laughed at him.

"No, I've never had the chance, I've always wanted to try though."

"Alright come on then, I'm gonna teach you how."

A few rounds of the paddock later proved that Bam was a quick learner and a natural with horses apart from a slight issue the first time he got up on Sabbath only to fall straight off the other side which had a Ville in hysterics for almost 15 minutes.

"So what now?" Bam asked from his perch on the royal looking palomino.

"How about we ride Sabbath and Ozzy through the woods and down to the lake so they can have a drink and by the time we get back Beryl should have been and left our dinner for us."

"Sounds like a plan. You go and get Ozzy and I'll keep trying to get the hang of this."

It didn't take Ville long to saddle up Ozzy and before long, they were headed out of the paddock and down towards the woods.

Despite being slightly nervous, Bam was finding that horse riding was actually fun and for the first time in almost his entire life, he felt completely relaxed. He glanced over at Ville as their horses trotted side by side and tried hard to repress a girlish sigh. The longer he spent around the intese cowboy, the more attracted to him he was.

It wasn't just a physical attraction although it had started off that way. He was an incredibly intelligent man, kind and caring despite what his bitch of an ex had done to him, and his innocent blushing every time Bam said anything remotely sexual made him so much more appealing.

He gave a slight smile when Ville turned his head and caught him watching him. "What? Do I have something on my face?" Ville asked nervously.

"No, it's nothing, I was just wondering if you'd be as good as that riding something else." The smirk on Bam's face made it obvious what the 'something else' was. And as Ville blushed for what seemed like the millionth time, Bam finally decided he had to comment on it.

"Ya know, one of these days your face is gonna stay that shade of red."

"Well it's hardly my fault." Ville retorted as they finally arrived at the lake. "If you stopped making comments like that then I wouldn't blush so much."

Bam didn't comment as they both dismounted their horses and tied them to the post next to the water that was there for people to let their horses drink from the lake without them running away. Once they were laying on the grassy bank next to each other Bam finally replied.

"I like making you blush, it makes you look pretty." It was meant to come out in the same joking way that the rest of his flirting had, but Ville's big green eyes looking into his own made the laughing tone catch in his throat and the words came out truer than intended. It was also very obvious that Ville noticed.

"You think I'm pretty?" The question was asked in such a disappointed tone that it made Bam feel as though he'd insulted him in some way.

"Yeah, what's wrong with that?"

"That's what Jonna told me the day she left me. We had a big argument and she said that I was too pretty, that I'd never be a proper man and she'd be better off with someone masculine. I didn't think she'd actually run off with someone though."

"I know you probably son't care what I think." Bam began quietly. "But in my opinion, being pretty isn't a bad thing and I think you're more of a man than you give yourself credit for. Besides, I like men that are pretty."

"You do?" Ville's voice sounded so young and hopeful that even if he'd been lying, there was no way that Bam could hurt his feelings by saying anything negative to him at that moment in time.

"I promise. I've got no reason to lie to you."

The atmosphere around them was electric and Ville shifted closer to him, fueled by the strange attraction he had for the other man. "I lied. That boy wasn't the only man I've been attracted to." He whispered.

"Who else?" Bam whispered back, leaning in close.

"You." The word had barely been formed when their lips crashed together, hands tangling in each others hair with a passion that neither of them knew they possessed. Tongues explored mouths wildly and they only broke apart long enough to remove their shirts before continuing what they'd started.

Breathing heavily, Bam starting raining kisses down Ville's elegant neck, working at the buckles of their jeans at the same time, desperate to feel the cowboys body against his own. Finally he managed to get them undone and pushed both pairs down aided by Ville who kept trying to pull Bam back into another kiss.

Neither man seemed aware of the fact that they were in a public place where anyone could walk by, all that existed for them was the feelings brought on by each other. Straddling Ville's lithe body, Bam leant in and captured his lips in another fierce kiss as he started to gently rock his hips, grinning slightly as Ville gasped in pleasure and starting arching up in order to keep the friction between them as long as possible.

Ville barely even noticed that he'd pierced the skin of Bam's back as he dug his nails in, but Bam didn't seem to care, in fact it seemed to turn him on even more and his thrusts became harder as Ville wrapped his legs around Bam's waist to pull him even closer against him. Their bodies slid together more easily now, the precome from them both making it possible for them to move faster together, drawing moans and gasps from them both as they got closer to the edge.

Suddenly Ville arched his back, moaning Bam's name loudly as he came, Bam following him shortly after before collapsing onto his back on the grass absently wondering what they were going to use to clean themselves up.

They lay still for a while getting their breath back until finally Ville rose to his feet and started gathering his clothing. He used his t-shirt to clean himself off, deciding he would rather ride home shirtless than covered in come and pulled the rest of his clothes on quickly.

Following Ville's example with his own shirt, Bam tried to find a way of breaking the odd silence as Ville untied the horses and handed him Sabbath's reins.

"Ville, about what just happened....."

"Nothing happened." Ville interupted quickly.

"But what about....."

"Nothing happened so just forget it and get a move on, I wanna get home before it gets too dark." Ville snapped angrily, swinging himself up into the sadle and riding off without waiting for Bam, leaving the skater totally bewildered about what the hell was going on.
