He wasn’t entirely sure what his life had been without him. There were days he couldn’t even really remember his life before him. He had his head resting on his chest, the steady thump of his heart lulling him deeper into sleep. Even on the bus he felt comfortable and safe with his arm wrapped around his waist.

Starting a water balloon fight when it was twenty degrees was not one of his better ideas but he knew he’d done it to cheer him up. One of his exes had found his e-mail and now wanted him back. He’d been in a bad moon ever since. He was smiling now, like he always did when he pulled his stupid antics.

Why did his family have to call him away when he needed him the most? He was gone for the weekend and he wasn’t sure he was going to make it. His ex was still bothering him and even threatening to come out to one of their shows to see him. The guys were doing their best but they weren’t him. He pulled out his phone and smiled when he saw his number on the screen.
“Hey baby, I love you.” His voice made him smile and his anxiety fade.

He was back, thank you God he was back. He held him so tight he was sure he’d break his skinny frame. He laughed and returned the hug with just as much force. His warm lips found his and he lost himself like he always did.
