4 pregnancy tests later jade stared glumly at the result. They still weren’t pregnant. Walking out of the bathroom her face told Gerard the result; he opened his arms and pulled her to him.
”It’s ok Jade, we’ve only been trying a few weeks. We still have plenty of time” he soothed, kissing her head. Jade smiled and clutched him close to her.
”Yeah, I’m just impatient” she laughed, “Oh well. What do you want to do tonight then?”
”Get you pregnant” he growled, pulling at her dress. Jade laughed and pulled back.
”Gerard you are an animal. No I think we are trying too hard, instead of just letting it come naturally. Now I know you naturally want sex every ten minutes but I want to go out tonight”
”Only with you” he whined, “But fine I’ll take this rejection and remember it”
By now they had walked downstairs and were seated on the sofa facing each other, their legs entwined. Jade had a huge pair of Gerard socks on, with a large t shirt and knickers
”Might I say how sexy you look in my old hiking socks” Gerard laughed.
”That’s really bad seduction, you’re just jealous because I look better in them than you, Hey!” Jade shouted the last word as Gerard pulled one of the socks off and flung it across the room. Climbing up her he pulled the other one off and flung that too. Laughing they kissed each other and lay together for a while.
”We could see if Mike and Janice fancy a meal or something” Gerard finally offered, his head nestled in her chest. “They could probably ask his niece to baby-sit or something”
”See there’s a downside to spawning” Jade moaned, 2We couldn’t go anywhere”
”Yeah there is that, and the sex in every room at any time would have to stop.”
”We would have to buy organic food”
”We would have to buy food” Gerard laughed, “Restaurants and kids don’t mix!”
”But there’s the upside” Jade said, “Isn’t there?” Gerard lifted his head to face her and grinned, “Yeah, there is a thousand reasons why I want a child. You being its mother being one of them.” Gerard nestled himself back in her chest against and playfully rubbed one of her nipples through her t-shirt.
”I really fancy a star bucks,” Gerard moaned, “Oh no I really do. Come on get dressed we can go get that for me”
Jade laughed and jumped to her feet, “You and your bloody star bucks, alright so long as I can get one of those muffins”
”Deal” he laughed, kissing her face. Jade stopped and stroked his neck softly, kissing him back, then moving to kiss his cheek. The atmosphere changed as Gerard lay her down softly on the sofa and kissed all around her face, his body lying on top of hers, so they could feel every bump of each other. Cuddling sweetly. Kissing lightly. Grinding subconsciously. Fondle. Suck. Nip. Flip. Kissing her neck, she kisses his. Grabbing her butt, she grabs his. Biting, teasing, loving, moving. Fucking, loving, always loving. Suddenly one. Moan, move, and change places. Moan move. Silence. Coming together, kissing and smiling, like they always did.
”Star bucks?” Gerry managed to utter.

As they walked hand in hand to the car, neither realised what had just happened. Neither understood the chemical balance suddenly taking place inside Jades womb. A child was conceived, while they happily held each other’s hands and argued over the best type of muffin. A miracle had taken place and they didn’t even know it.
