Carrie's pov





Carrie was more interested in what Kelly was doing to really pay any attention to anyone else. They had been woken by the loud voices as everyone rushed towards the living room to see what santa had left behind. Kelly was on her feet and out the door before Carrie could even open her eyes.



They were now all sitting around the living room taking turns at opening their gifts, Carrie's father sitting at the tree giving each person the right gift. Kelly sat wide eyed watching as everyone took turns showing what they had got.



'You enjoying yourself?.......'Carrie leaned forward to whisper in her wife's ear.



'Yea......'Kelly answered in a dream like state as she watched Jason open his first gift.



'An ear cleaning set?........'Jason asked his girlfriend in an confused tone.



'Like it?.......' Ashley asked.



'What's it for?.......'Carrie couldn't help but giggle as her brother in law looked at his gift more closely.



'Well....'ashley began as everyone in the room looked on. ' In the middle of the night while your son is screaming and crying you seem to never hear a thing..........i guess I thought this gift might help correct that little problem.......'Ashley sat back in her seat pleased with herself as the room erupted into loud laughter.



'There better be another gift under that tree for me.......'Jason held out his hand as Stephen threw over his other gift from Ashley.

With gift time over Carrie got herself dressed for church, she couldn't wait to see the town folks faces when they whole Clarkson Underwood gang showed up. Least they would all behave, not even they would misbehave in church, at least Carrie hoped not.



'It's only ten am...........why do I feel like ive been awake for hours?........'Kelly threw herself down on the bed.



'Cause they all drain you of your resources and leave you like a puddle on the floor........' Carrie answered seriously.



'Least we're going to church.........they have to behave in church right?...........'



'Right.......'



'Carrie......sound more sure......'Kelly complained.



'Baby......'Carrie turned to look at her wife. Kelly looked back at her wife doubt in her eyes. 'Lets just pray..........' Carrie turned around again to put on her new shoes. 'And thank you for these........i love them.......'Carrie looked down admiring Kelly's gift to her.



'Oh that reminds me....... Kelly swung her legs over the bed to grab a box from under it.



'That better not be another gift for me.......'Carrie warned as she turned to look at her wife once again.



'Your the one that said we should spoil each other more..........'



'Cant argue with that........' Carrie reached into her side drawer pulling out a large box of her own.



'Very sneaky......'Kelly giggled as they exchanged gifts.



'Kelly.......you shouldn't have.......' Carrie held up the necklace to admire.



'Awesome............'Kelly completely ignored her wife as she opened her own gift.



'I knew you would like it...........' Carrie smiled as her wife held up the set of books. 'Look inside...........'



'First editions?..........'



'Signed first editions.........'Carrie answered. 'I tried to get Robert Pattinson but he was a bitch to wrap so I settled for the Twilight books............'



'So cool.........'Kelly ran her hands over the book covers.



'Glad you like it............'Carrie couldn't say anything else as Kelly threw herself on top of her.



'I love them..........'

Kelly's pov





She really tried her best not to laugh, she tried looking the other way but not matter what she did her eyes were dragged back to what was in front of her.



'Is it alive?.......' Kelly nudged her wife.



'Don't be rude........'Kelly focused back on what they minster was saying.



'I swear I saw it move.........'



'Carrie........'



'Im telling you if it bites me i'll scream........' Kelly felt her mother lean forward from the pew behind them.



'I will sit between you both if you don't be quiet.........'



'But.......'Kelly pointed to the distraction in front of her. Jeanne's eyes followed Kelly's hand. Jeanne's eyes widened as she looked at the woman in front of Kelly. Her hat could only be described as a turkey shaped hat.



'Oh my lord..........' Everyone even the minster stopped to look at Jeanne. Carrie and Kelly both turned the other way as the pretended not to know the noise woman behind them. 'Wonderful service minster...........'Kelly and Carrie huddled together giggling as Jeanne tried her best to say sorry.
