"Is this the way you want it to be:
Going backwards?"

"Here we are," Carrie said, pulling into Kelly's driveway.
"Thanks for the ride," Kelly nodded.
"Jason and Ashley aren't back yet," Carrie frowned. "You're gonna ok by yourself?"
"Yea," she replied. "I'll, um, I'll call you if I hear something."
"Oh, uh, ok, sure," Carrie smiled weakly as the Texan exited the car and walked into the house.

Ashley and Jason walked in the house to find Kelly sitting at the dining room table, papers spread out, covering it's entire surface.
"What are you doing?" Ashley laughed.
Kelly looked up at them, surprised, not having heard them enter the house. She had ink pen marks on her cheeks and fingers.
"Jay, thank God," she sighed, wiping her bangs out of her eyes with her hand that held the pen.
Ashley smiled, seeing how the ink pen marks got there.
"You need help with something?" he asked curiously.
"I don't know how you do this schedule thing," Kelly admitted. "It's insane."
"Well, why are you worrying about it?" Jason questioned, pulling up a chair next to her. "That's what I'm here for, remember?"
"But I need you to fix it."
"Fix what?"
"Next week's schedule."
"Ok," he nodded, gathering up the various calendars and itineraries she had pulled out. "What are you trying to do."
"Cancel it," she shook her head. "Cancel all of it."
"What?"
"Unless, it can be moved to Texas, or done over the phone, I need to cancel it."
"Why?" Ashley asked.
"Cause we might be going to Texas next week."
"Might?" Jason frowned. "Kell, that's a lot of stuff to cancel on a might. What's going on?"
"We may be bringing Alex to Texas sometime next week," Kelly explained.
"Ok...like when next week?"
"I don't know."
"For how long?"
"I don't know," she replied frustratedly. "I don't know, ok? I just need you to cancel it."
"Alright," Jason nodded, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I'll take care of it, but you have to tell me what's going on."
Kelly took a deep breath, "Alex isn't doing well."
"Shoot, Kelly, I'm sorry," Ashley said, sitting across from the two of them. "Did the doctor's tell you how long?"
"Not long," she shook her head, sniffing. "But I promised her I'd take her to the house in Texas, and the doctors said I could if she can get stable enough, so we're kind of on standby right now. So," she said looking at Jason. "I need you to cancel it now, so we don't have to do it last minute next week. That's rude."
"Of course," Jason nodded. "Are you going to be alri--"
"I'm going to my room," Kelly stood. "I'm gonna go look up some stuff, make sure there's nothing like extra we need to do for her when we get there."
Ashley frowned, catching Jason's eye as the short Texan walked out of the room.
"I know," Jason nodded, reading the worried look on her face.
