The trouble with unfaithful lovers

When Billie had calmed down enough she slowly pulled away and left the safe and warm feeling, a feeling that came with being wrapped in his embrace. She wiped her face and sniffed. She then bent down and picked up the two separate parts of the torn photograph, and the frame it had once rested in.

She then headed to the kitchen and dumped the photograph in the bin before placing the now empty frame on top of the book case in her living room. She proceeded to walk into the bed room. She returned a few moments later with a blanket, two pillows, and a sheet.

She turned to David and asked him “Will you please help me pulled the sofa out, it turns into a double sized sofa bed?” David nodded and proceeded to help her set up what was to be his bed for the night. They worked together for the next fifteen minutes, until the bed was pulled out and made.

David then headed for the bathroom, while Billie went back into the kitchen. Whilst David was in the bathroom, Billie proceeded to take a bottle of sparkling grape juice out of the fridge. She then grabbed two wine glasses.

When she entered the living room, it was to find David sitting on the end of the bed. Billie asked him “It’s only just gone nine, it is still early. So what do you fancy watching?” David replied “Anything but romance or chick flicks, especially the romance. I think I might puke and be tempted to throw something if I have to see a happy couple, even if it is only in a movie.”

Billie sighed “Yeah, I know the feeling. How about “Bad Boys and “Bad Boys two” its got Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in it? You’ve got comedy, action and gore rolled all into one. No romance in sight, well, except for at the end, but it’s very brief.”

David nodded “Ok, sounds good. I can deal with kissing at the end. Besides the scene is shot right after a guy has been blown up by an explosive. There isn’t anything romantic about it. Put it on right now, I’m in the mood for some gore.”

Billie snorted and replied “I won't bother asking why, I get the feeling it would be a dumb question any way." His reply was a mere smirk and a singly raised eye brow. She snorted again and rolled her eyes at him before going over to her large entertainment system and out on the movie.

During the second movie, Billie gagged at the sight of the corpses falling out of the back of the van during the high speed chase. Even David thought the scene where Will Smith shoved his hand inside a corpse was revolting. David grimaced and commented “Ok, now that was just wrong on so many levels.”

He added in disbelief “What the bloody hell, he’s just shoved his hand in the body of a fucking corpse. Thank god its actually only highly believable props. That is just sick.” Billie laughed at his look of disgust and his ranting.

By the time the end of the movie was finished both Billie and David had fallen a sleep beside each other on the bed, whilst the TV was left on. If only they knew the position they would end up waking up in the next morning.
