Forbidden

Chapter 5


Three weeks later Toshiya was walking towards their school, smoking cigarette. Schoolday was already over but when he had arrived home he had noticed that he had left his watch in toilet. He had taken it off when he was washing his hands and forgot it there. He could only hope that his watch would still be there...

Toshiya fastened his speed, humming some new hit he had heard in the radio. Two girls drove past him with their bikes and smiled at him sweetly. Toshiya recognised them immediately. Kana and Kanna. The wanted twins who slept with anyone popular who asked. "I've fucked them at least five times", Mizuki had told him. Toshiya smiled back and continued walking, proud of himself. He was the star of many girls' fantasies. What would have been more cool? It was easy, nothing!

Suddenly he freezed when he heard a loud cry of pain from somewhere near. Cigarette fell from his lips and he looked around him. He couldn't see anyone. What was going on? He heard another cry and began running towards the voice. It came behind the school where students kept their bikes and motorbikes. And just like he had guessed, he saw five boys standing there in circle. Toshiya could hear crying from inside the circle the boys were forming. Toshiya's heart begun to beat faster. Someone was being beaten there...

He ran away as fast as he could, watching those five boys from a good distance. He didn't want to be seen or else he would be the one who was beaten. At least he was afraid so. Many were jealous of his popularity so it was safer to stay hiding.

"You fuckin' piece of shit!" he heard one boy shouting. "How dare you fuck with us?! Trying to be so cool?! You know what? You deserve this! You deserve to DIE!"

Toshiya gulped nervously. Five boys against one. Just like... Horrible memories came back to his mind and he couldn't breath for a moment. He grabbed the wall, closing his eyes. "Disgusting faggot. We will kill you. You will never see sunshine again! Cry for mummy, no one hears!" Toshiya was breathing heavily. He remembered it so well, it was like yesterday though it had happened a long time ago in his latest school. Five boys had beaten him almost dead. He had been laying there on ground almost two hours until some old woman had found him and called for help.

"No! Please don't! Stop!" he heard a weak cough from the circle of boys. That boy sounded to be so much in pain, suffering, and no one was there to help him. Toshiya felt so horrible. He was a coward... He was here, watching them and didn't do anything! He was too scared to do anything. He was as bad as those other boys. He was... pathetic.

"No! I'm begging you... AH!"

That was when everything went silent. Crying stopped, beating stopped. Toshiya couldn't hear anything anymore. What was this?

"Oh my god!" Toshiya heard some of those five boys shouting. "SHIT! We killed him!" Toshiya was panicking now. He couldn't breath, he couldn't breath!!! He fell to the ground, coughing. Someone was killed there! And what was the worst, was that he recognised those five guys. He felt like voiting at any second.

His new friends. Kei, Mizuki and Yuki. And with them there were also Yuki's big brothers Hiyuki and Mitsuya. He tried to stood up again and grabbed the wall but couldn't get up. Oh god... His own friends... His friends! Had they really killed someone? This couldn't be happening, this was too horrible! They had killed some boy, he had to do something! I can't just sit here and watch! I have to call help! He felt like crying. But... They are my friends! What should I do? What am I going to do?!

"We should go. Right now!" Kei said, sounding a bit scared. "If teachers come, we will be fired from school!"

"What? Am I only imagining or can I hear fear in your voice, Kei?" Mitsuya hissed. "We haven't finished yet. You are the one who wanted us to beat that shit."

"Yes, but you fuckin' KILLED him!" Kei shouted. "Let's go!!!"

"Hah. Okay then. We're off. Quickly."

Toshiya watched the boys leave, heart beating like it would burst out of his chest. When his friends had left, he stood up and looked around, making sure that they really were gone. There was no one, so he was safe. He started to run towards the beaten boy who was laying in the ground, not moving.

The closer Toshiya was the more his breathing fastened. He kneeled to the ground beside the boy and moved the boys hands from his face. His eyes started to tear and he could do nothing but cry. No... It was... Tooru.

Toshiya cried and grabbed Toorus face, hands shaking. Tooru coughed up blood and his face was full of bruises. Toshiya lifted Tooru's head to his knees, caressing his face gently, not knowing what do do. Tooru wasn't dead but in a really bad situation. His eyes were closed and his breathing was shallow.

"Tooru! Tooru...!" Toshiya sobbed and touched the older boys face horrified. "Tooru, open your eyes! Tooru!!!"

But Tooru's eyes did not open. He only kept coughing blood and Toshiya was disgusted. It wasn't because of Tooru, it was because of what his friends had done to Tooru. He stood up and looked around. He had to do something! He had to get help or else Tooru could die. Tooru's life was now depending on him...

"HELP!" He cried out but no one was there. "HELP!!! WE NEED HELP HERE!" No... This couldn't be happening! Tooru was dying and there was no one to help. Sobbing Toshiya fell down to his knees, burying his face to his hands. That was when he felt a hand weakly grabbing his knee. He frowned and saw Toorus eyes open. "Tooru, thank god! I... I know that it hurts but... I need to go and get help."

He stood up again, but Toorus hand grabbed his leg again and he heard the older boy whispering desperately: "No... Please don't go." Toshiya shook his head and cried: "I have to! You may die if you don't get help! You HAVE TO let me go!"

"But..." Tooru whispered, eyes closed again, and he didn't open them anymore.

"Tooru, help will come soon. I'll get help, I promise. I'm not going to leave you alone. You don't have to be afraid. You can trust me..."

"Don't!" Tooru muttered and coughed again. "Don't... leave me... alone."

Toshiya couldn't help it. "Okay", he sighed and started to lift Tooru up. "I won't leave you alone. I... I'll carry you." He took Toorus little body in his arms, starting to carry him towards the school doors.

At the same time Kaoru was standing in front of his teacher in the music class. Gackt was sitting behind his desk and reading a paper. Kaoru was feeling very nervous. He had finally finished his new song and he was scared what Gackt would say about it. Right after school the most important thing for Kaoru was music. He often played his guitar in freetime and made new songs he always showed to his music teacher because he wanted to know what someone else thought about them. And Gackt had also a very good taste in music.

"Well, Kaoru", Gackt sighed and looked at him seriously. Kaoru gulped and felt awkward. He was waiting for his teacher's comment and he had also felt awkward after what he had heard Yoshiki saying. If Gackt wanted some student it was a crime. But Gackt seemed so nice and... No, he couldn't think of that now. There were more important things than his teacher's private life!

"Don't you... like it?" Kaoru asked sadly, not daring to look at his teacher. Gackt was quiet for a long time and finally Kaoru had to face his teacher. He saw a gentle smile appearing to his teacher's lips. "I like it. But I can't be sure until you play it to me. That is when we know how good it sounds."

"I thought that you didn't like my song", Kaoru sighed embarrassed.

"Of course I like it. Would you play it to me with a guitar?" Gackt asked smiling.

"Yes..." Kaoru answered and walked to the guitar. Gackt followed him and lifted it, giving it to Kaoru. The boy sat down holding the guitar tightly, watching his teacher shyly. Gackt sat next to him, waiting for him to begin. Kaoru's hands were shaking for some reason and he didn't feel comfortable at all.

"Don't be nervous. Just play", Gackt said, encouraging him. "There is no one else here." Finally Kaoru started playing.

Kaoru did his best and Gackt was there, next to him, changing his grip in guitar sometimes, giving him a little tips too. Then the song was finished and Gackt said kindly: "It sounds beautiful. I love its ending."

"Really?" Kaoru asked unsure. "Did you really like it?"

"Yes. It is a beautiful song. A little sad but beautiful. Only lyrics are still missing..."

"Thank you, sensei. I spent many days making this song", Kaoru muttered, head down. "And... because you really like it I am happy. Your opinion means a lot to me."

Gackt watched him smiling, saying: "You are a special boy, Kaoru. It seems that you are able to do anything you want. You are good in mathematics, history, sport... and music also. You are very talented. Your father must be very proud of you..."

"Yes he is...", Kaoru whispered quietly.

"Actually... this song sounded so good that I would like to hear it a second time. If you don't have anything against it of course?" Gackt asked.

"I would be glad to play it again", said Kaoru and smiled a bit.

A couple minutes later song was finished again. Kaoru lifted his head up and quickly glanced at his teacher who was always smiling. "It sounds better all the time", Gackt said. Kaoru nodded. "Thank you, sensei."

"You're welcome. Oh, it's already almost four o'clock!" Gackt breathed. "Time has passed quickly. We should finish for this day and go home. Just keep working on your songs. They sound great, every one of them."

"I'll keep on making songs", Kaoru promised and stood up. Gact followed his example and took the electric guitar from his hands, putting it in its place on the floor. "Actually I was thinking that today after making homeworks I could try one new..." Kaoru continued, stumbling over the wires.

"That's great. Hey, watch out!" Gackt gasped horrified, grabbing to boys hand, saving him from falling. Kaoru quivered, shocked, and watched the floor, his heart beating really fast in his chest. "Tha...thank you, sensei. There is too much wires here..." Kaoru lifted his head up, watching his teacher gratefully. Gackt answered to his smile. A little time passed and both of them looked at their hands that were still entwined. Kaoru didn't know why but he thought that their hands fit perfectly together. His heart beat grew faster when their eyes met again. Gackts eyes were... so beatiful. So full of emotion and... something else. He couldn't tell what it was but it didn't feel bad at all.

Gackt's smile had disappeared and they just stared at each other. And then Gackt took his face between his palms and caressed his face gently, before their lips met.

"Is Tooru going to survive?" Toshiya asked worriedly from principal Manabu. "Please tell me that he will make it! He can't die, he can't!"

"He won't die. I'll take care of him for a while and more help is coming as soon as possible", Manabu answered calmly, cleaning and caressing Tooru's bruised and bloody face with a wet towel. "Everything should be fine. But... you still haven't told me what happened. You must tell me."

"I..." Toshiya muttered. "I... can't tell."

But Manabu didn't agree with him. The principal had decided to get answers. "Toshimasa, you must tell who did this to Tooru. You know it is very important. Tooru could had been killed and you saw what happened, so tell me. If you don't tell, Tooru isn't safe and you know it. And you don't want this happening again, do you?"

"Of course I don't want him to be in danger! It's just that..." he went quiet. He knew what his friends had done to Tooru was wrong but... they still... were his friends. How could he tell what he saw? How could he betray his friends? But still it felt... a right thing to do. "I don't think I can..."

"Toshimasa, look at Tooru. Look at him and think twice", Manabu sighed and Toshiya turned his head, watching the other boy sadly. If he wouldn't tell what his friends had done... he would be such a horrible person. Now he knew what to do.

"I... I was walking back to school because I forgot my watch and... I heard voices. There were... five boys attacking Tooru, they were beating him. And... One of the boys said that Tooru is dead. Then they ran away and would have left Tooru dying. But I couldn't let it happen, I had to help. So I... brought him here. He is my... classmate after all."

"I knew it. Who were these boys? You saw them, right?" Principal asked, worried. Toshiya went silent. "Yes, I saw them. And I know them very well. They..." He thought for a while. Kei, Mizuki and Yuki were his friends. But he knew now that they were nothing but sick bastards who were even capable to kill someone! He didn't need friends like that!

"Toshimasa, tell me now", Manabu said loudly. "Who did this to Tooru?"

Sighing heavily, almost sobbing, Toshiya answered. "Kei Miyazaki, Mizuki Takayama ja Yuki, Hiyuki and Mitsuya Okabe."

"That's just what I thought. I'll call their parents this evening and tell them the 'happy' news. They are expelled from school. This can't be forgiven. And Toshimasa, I am very proud of you. It takes much courage to do something you just did by telling the truth."

"Well, it... it felt a right thing to do..." Toshiya whispered.

"It was a right thing to do."

Toshiya nodded and walked to Tooru who was laying on principals couch. He sat to the couch next to the other boy, watching him quietly. Tooru answered to his gaze but didn't say anything. Toshiya knew that he needed to talk first. "I... I don't know what to say. But... everything is fine now and... Kei, Mizuki, Yuki and his twin brothers are expelled. They are not going to hurt you anymore. I'm... happy that you are alright, Tooru."

"Kyo..." Tooru whispered quietly, looking straight in his eyes.

"Umm... What...?" Toshiya breathed amazed.

"It's Kyo. I want you to... call me Kyo", Tooru answered, smiling kindly. Toshiya smiled back happily. Their principal was watching them and smiling too.

Kaoru's heart was beating so fast. Their lips... pressed against each others. The feeling was so beautiful and new and it felt like he had hundreds of butterflies in his stomach. Their lips didn't move at first, they were just pressed together and they stood there, not moving a bit. Their eyes were closed and Gackt's other hand was in his hand while the other was still caressing his cheek gently.

"Kaoru..." Gackt whispered against his lips before starting to move his lips against his own. Kaoru's body was shaking, he was so nervous because he had never kissed before though he was eighteen years old. But Gackt was kissing him so sweetly and longingly and he wasn't disgusted at all. It felt weird though, because Gackt was his teacher, but he didn't care. He thought for a while before answered to the kiss as well as he could. He moved his lips shyly, gently, and his heart beat grew even faster, untill it was almost painful. But he was kissing his teacher and it felt like heaven.

Kaoru's first kiss wasn't exatctly what he had imagined it would be. He had always thought that it would happen with some cute girl but... this was good too and he loved every second of it. Gackt's lips were so perfect, so soft... And his teacher kissed lovely. They kissed for a long time, hand in hand, enjoying of this closeness, tasting each others lips little hesitantly. And then it was over.

Kaoru opened his eyes and noticed that he was watching straight into his teacher's beautiful eyes, feeling so shy. He had kissed his teacher and had even enjoyed of it! It was wrong and... still so nice. Gackt watched him, seeming nervous, not knowing what to do or say. Kaoru felt unreal, this couldn't be happening. Why had it happened? Why had they kissed? What was going on? His head was full of questions. And at the same time he wanted to kiss his teacher again and hold him close the same way as couple seconds ago.

They didn't say anything, they just stared at each other in silence. The situation was so awkward and not normal at all. They both knew that it shouldn't have happened but... still they wanted more. It was well known that teachers and students shouldn't have a special relationship and this was so wrong but...

Kaoru's feet were shaking and he thought he would fall when Gackt started to caress his cheek again carefully. Gackt's simple touch was almost too much for him.

"Kaoru", Gackt whispered, locking his eyes with his own. Kaoru's face was red as tomato and he couldn't take his eyes of his teacher. What was wrong with him?! Was he insane?! He couldn't be interested in his teacher!

"Sensei..."

"Has anyone ever told you how cute you are?" Gackt asked softly, toughing his face gently. Kaoru closed his eyes, shaking his head, smiling shyly. Why did he feel this way?

"No", he answered quietly.

"You are cute, Kaoru. In many ways", Gackt breathed, smiling so sweetly. Kaoru's cheeks felt so hot, he was so embarrassed and... in love. It felt weird to hear Gackt speaking to him like this.

"Oh..." Kaoru whispered. He couldn't say anything. His head fell down, he didn't dare to look at his teacher in the eye. It was silent for a long time and they just stood there, close to each other. Until Gackt sighed: "Well... Would you like to have a ride home? There is cloudy. It may start to rain soon."

Kaoru looked at the window and smiled. There weren't any clouds in the sky, but... He grinned and nodded happily. "Yes, it would be lovely, sensei."
