Ain't afraid to die... right?
Kyo was escorted by the same guys he had been the night before. Finally he met who he wanted to talk to:
“What did you inject in me?”
“No one called you here, why did you come?” - Dr. Mega asked him harshly.
“What-did-you-inject-in-me?” - Kyo asked again.
“Hm… you want to know? A virus, I injected you with a virus.”
Kyo was shocked when he heard the Dr.’s words. His expression changed to a shocked expression and his hand travelled to his neck. His eyes begun to water and he turned his head to the side quickly. His eyes went wide and two tears rolled directly to the floor while he muttered to himself:
“A… a virus?!”
“Yes, that’s right! A virus.” - Dr. Mega repeated.
The blonde guy turned again to face the man, now he was confused, sad, angry, everything mixed up in his voice, a new emotion, a combination of these three:
“What kind of virus? Why? Is this part of what you have in mind for me this time?”
“Well, aren’t we a little too talkative? I’ll tell you anyway, it’s your future, although it implies mine too” - Dr. Mega smiled evilly - “It’s a virus I’ve created myself… I’m quite proud of it, it was created to be a biological weapon and so it is. The most powerful of our government’s secret section. It’s highly contagious so I had to change the doses I administrated in you… but it is as deadly as the original one, just not contagious. It usually kills in 48 hours.”
“Dea… deadly?! You injected me with a deadly virus?!” - Kyo thought this was the worst thing Dr. Mega has ever done to him, even after all those years.
“Calm down. We will take notes of the effects it will have on your body, then we will give you the antidote. If the antidote works, you won’t die.” - Dr. Mega explained casually.
“You mean you don’t know if the antidote works? What’s that? I only have less than 24 hours to live? Your ‘new thing to me’ is kill me with a virus?!” - words coming out of the blonde’s mouth almost in sobbing screams.
Dr. Mega moved close to Kyo and spoke next to his ear:
“But I’m sure you will survive. Otherwise, why would you be the experimental subject I’m using for this?”
“I wanna go home. Take me home now, please.” - Kyo said dryly.

Meanwhile Toshiya decided to call Die and Shinya so they knew Kyo was… ok. Kaoru was counting on them to cheer up the vocalist. Usually they were good at it, and the thought made Toshiya smile. He picked the phone and dialled Die’s number.
“Goodnight. Who is this?” - Die answered on the other side of the line.
“Oh, Die-kun, goodnight. It’s Toshiya. Sorry for calling at this time but it’s just to let you know that Kyo-kun can already move, but Kaoru-kun was here now to tell me that he needs to feel our friendship and he needs to cheer up. Can you help me doing that?”
“Of course. Thank you for letting me know he is better. Is he going to rehearsal tomorrow?”
“Yes, and he needs to be ok. I’m going to call Shinya-kun. See you tomorrow.”
“Yes, see you tomorrow.” - Die hung up.
Toshiya hung up and picked the phone again and dialled Shinya’s number:
“Goodnight, who’s speaking?” - Shinya asked.
“Goodnight, it’s Toshiya. Sorry for calling at this time. Kaoru-kun was here and he told me Kyo is better, although he want us to cheer him up tomorrow. I already called Die. Can we count on you?”
“Oh, the warumono is better? Good! Yes, you can always count on me. See you tomorrow then.”
“See you, and thank you.” - Toshiya hung up.

Once again, Kyo woke up in his house already. It was almost 9:30 pm and he wanted to talk with someone. But about what? Now that he remembered, how would he tell this to the others? Would he really have to tell the others? Not if he was going to survive… although he didn’t know yet his destination… he knew it would be to suffer, but not the rest, he didn’t know the rest of his destination.
He got up from where he was, which happened to be the couch, and went to the bathroom. He took a glance on the mirror and washed his hands and face. He stared at himself… a deadly virus… he went to his bedroom and fell on his bed.
“Ain’t afraid to die… that was such a brilliant title Kaoru-kun!” - Kyo spoke to himself and tried to sleep.
