Carrie's pov





She knew if she lay perfectly still she would be able to enjoy this moment just a little longer, just as long as she didn't move. Lifting her hand from under the cover Carrie carefully placed it on top of her wifes bare thigh feeling the soft skin underneath. She watched as Kelly let out a little sigh before rolling into her wife's touch. Carrie held her breath as Kelly's body pressed against her own the shorter blonds legs wrapping around her leg.



'Kelly....phone....' Carrie shot up seeing Jeanne standing at the open bedroom door.



'You don't knock?.....' Carrie quickly covered Kelly as the Texan began to waken. 'We could have been doing anything here.....' Carrie watched as Jeanne smirked.



'Not likely dear......Kelly baby....Grahams on the phone.' Kelly mumbled a response cause Jeanne to walk closer.



'Jeanne im naked here.......' Carrie pulled up the covers more shielding herself from the older womans eyes.



'Mom...ill call him back...now can you please let Carrie get dressed.... '



'But he says it's important.....'



'I'll call him back mom.......' Jeanne turned to Carrie.



'Happy?' The older woman barked before slamming the door shut.



Carrie lay back against the warm pillow, she could feel Kelly looking at her, she knew the blond wanted to say something.



'What?' Carrie sighed.



'Do you have to start with her.....can't you just be the bigger person....'



'She burst into our bedroom......and since when does your ex call at nine in the morning?' Carrie stood from the bed grabbing her robe.



'Don't start with this.....he's recording a new album he can't afford the studio time....i said I would help.....' Carrie couldn't believe her ears.



'Your giving him money?....'



'Im giving him studio time...'Kelly interrupted, her voice getting louder.



'It's the same thing.....' Carrie moved to the door.



'I give you studio time......' Carrie stopped in her tracks.



'Im your wife....' Carrie said in shock. She waited for an answer from Kelly but the blond just lay back down rolling away from her.



Kelly pov.





Kelly picked up the phone once again, she didn't understand why she was so nervous, it was only Graham. Carrie's words keep running round her mind as she dialled the number, she knew she was wrong for casting up that Carrie used the studio without paying, it just seemed like everything she said lead to a fight.



'Kelly....' She could hear the smile on Grahams face when he answered.



'Hey...' she was smiling herself. 'You called?'



'Yea yea...im on my way...about 10 minutes.....' Kelly pulled the phone away from her ear looking at it.



'Your coming here?....to my house?'



'Yea...Jeanne invited me to breakfast........Im just hitting your street....we'll talk when I get there....' Kelly tried to tell him not to but he was gone.

Kelly found her mother in the kitchen, the table filled with food as the older woman made herself busy.



'Why would you invite him mother.....you know how Carrie feels about him....' Jeanne waved her hand at her daughter.



'If your wife got her way no one would be allowed in your home.......'



'I wouldn't want any of Carrie's ex's here.....'Kelly tried her best to make her mother understand.



'And we both know how many there are.....'Jeanne smiled seeing Carrie enter the room. Carrie scanned the table of food.



''it's all meat...'



'Mom...you know Carrie doesn't eat meat .....What will she eat?....'



'Theres a full lawn out their.....' Jeanne busied herself trying not to look at her daughter.



'I'll make you something...' Kelly sighed.



'Forget it....i'll eat at the studio.....' Kelly jumped hearing the door.



'That will be him...'Jeanne smiled passing Carrie.



'Who?....Jason here?' Carrie's smiled.



'Graham...'Kelly whispered. 'I didn't know he was coming till ten minutes ago......'



'Sure you didn't....' Carrie let out a sigh seeing the ex enter the room.



'There's my favourite blond.......'Graham passed Carrie wrapping his arms around Kelly, Kelly for her part tried her hardest to break away from him.



'Graham...hey....'



'Would you look at him.....he gets more handsome every time I see him . 'Jeanne almost skipped into the room behind Graham.



Yea well.... I don't want to spoil this reunion but I better get going......' Carrie grabbed her keys as she passed Kelly who was still in Grahams arms.



'Carrie...didn't see you there...' Graham gave a polite wave.



'I think we all know your focus was somewhere else. ...' Carrie left the room without a goodbye to anyone.



'I better go say bye to her....' Kelly pulled herself from Grahams arms running after her wife.



'Carrie...' Carrie was already at the car. ' Carrie.....'



'Go back to your ex Kelly....i'll see you later....' Carrie slide into the drivers seat as Kelly stood on the steps.



'Will you be home for dinner?......i can cook if you want....'



'I wont be home.....but I hear Grahams a steak man......enjoy....'Kelly stood watching as her wife drove off down the road.

Carrie stand in Kelly's office at the studio, the moment she had arrived she went straight to the computer.

Carrie sat looking at the screen, she didn't really know if she wanted to be so open. It was crossing a line, something she couldn't take back.

Carrie took a deep breath before beginning to type.

Carrie sat looking at the confession in front of her, it was the first time she had admitted it to herself.

Kelly paused, was she ready to open her heart to this stranger.

Kelly knew exactly what the stranger was saying.





Flashback.





Kelly stood at the side of the stage waiting for Carrie to finish her set. It was the first time she was able to see the country singer on tour. Before she had been logging onto youtube to watch fan videos of her. Seeing the real thing was breath taking. Kelly stood cheering as Carrie took her final bow. She opened her arms knowing the first thing the country singer would do was jump into them.



That was amazing...' Kelly prepared herself as she saw the blond bounce towards her.



'Few off keys....' Carrie replied as she finally reached the shorter blond, her arms wrapping around her perfectly.



'everything I heard was perfect.....'



'You would say that......' Carrie laughed as she felt herself being lifted off the ground. 'Stop it....i'll land on you...'



'Shut up...my dog weighs more than you...'



They had both settled into a comfortable silence on the bus, everyone else in Carrie's band had fell asleep long ago leaving the two blonds alone up front. Carrie hand slowly over the past hour had made its way up Kelly's top till it was resting lazily on her stomach. They had been dating for over two months and had yet to sleep together, both wanting to wait. Kelly had just ended her relationship with Graham and Carrie had never had any luck with men. This would be their first relationship with a woman and both were a little timid when it came to sex.



'Were will we be in five years?' Carrie smiled at the innocent question her girlfriend asked.



'Most likely....still on this bus trying to sell my album.....'



'Im serious...'Kelly said with a giggle.



'Well if your being serious..... I think maybe a house in the country.....few dogs running around.....'



'With me?' Kelly whispered.



'Well you can run with the dogs if you want....think you can keep up...'



' I mean will I be in the house in the country too......' Carrie sat up looking her girlfriend in the eye.



'Do you want to be in the country...'



'Well I like the country...' Kelly said with a smile.



'I like you...' Carrie added.



'I like you too...' Carrie paused, thinking her words over carefully before she spoke.



'I like you a lot....more than I like most people.....You could say im in like with you....' Kelly giggled.



'Im in like with you too.....' Carrie leaned in leaving a small kiss on her lips.



'I love you ..' she whispered. Kelly closed her eyes, replying the three words over in her head.



'I love you too ' she answered.



Both sat at the front of the bus with silly smiles on their faces.



'So five years' Carrie asked.



'Five years ......'Kelly answered.





End of flashback.





Five years had came, the idea and dreams of the country house had came true, if only their feelings had stayed the same.
