Carrie's pov





Flashback





' I don't see why we have to do this again.........they were here all last weekend...........do they have to come again?..........' Carrie sat back against the bed knowing her complaining wouldn't change anything. Kelly would still go about doing her own thing ignoring any plea Carrie made.



'Last week end we were working........tonight's just about fun............I'm still allowed to have fun right?.........'



'Don't give me that..........why are you inviting them to our home..........'



'They're my friends.....'Kelly turned to look at her wife.



'They're your band.......they work for you........you need to draw a line'



'They are my friends........maybe you can draw a line when it comes to work but I can't be like that.........I can't be that cold.......'



'Cold?......' Carrie watched Kelly her back on her. 'You think im cold?........' Kelly began fixing her hair in the mirror as Carrie stood behind her. 'Kelly........'



'Your just.......' Kelly sighed.



'Just what?........'



'Your so closed off.........' Kelly turned making Carrie take a step back. 'The only time I see you smile lately is when we're alone.........it's like you can't bare anyone but us in this house...........'



'Your band gets to travel the world with you..........i can't get your time off?........'Carrie answered through gritted teeth.



'I'm not a prize to get...........If you want time alone with me there is a better way to get it than sitting pouting about it..........'



'Then tell.......'Carrie raised her hands in the air. ' Tell me what to do to get time with you...........'



'I don't know......'Kelly sighed. 'Ask..........just ask.......'



'Ok......please give me some time..........a time where it's just us..........'Before Kelly could answer the bell rang causing Carrie to jump. Both singers stood facing each other silently looking into each others eyes till the bell rang again.



'You better answer it........'Carrie's voice took on a calm tone.



'Carrie.......'Kelly pleaded.



'Answer it Kelly..........i guess I asked to late.........' Kelly nodded walking towards the front door, once it was open the crowd of people soon fell in filling the hall way with noise. Carrie soon lost her wife in the crowd, she had thought for a split second Kelly would ignore the bell and staye with her instead.

Carrie's pov





Carrie stood in the hall away watching as Kelly hugged her band members one by one as they entered the front door.



'I;m telling you KC tonight we are going to write a new number one.........i can feel it........' Carrie watched Kelly giggle at Jason's announcement.



'I sure hope so............but remember my albums done........tonight's about fun...........'



'Honey im already starting album five................You need to catch up...........' Carrie watched Kelly's smiling face a few more seconds before slipping into the bedroom closing the door gently behind her. While Kelly was entertaining her band Carrie had chosen to spend the night in bed reading.

'It had taken a matter of minutes for Carrie to give up reading and try sleeping. She hadn't spend a lot of down time lately and to many sleepless nights with her wife had finally caught up with her. Just as she felt herself drift off the bedroom door opened letting the light from the hall in. It closed quickly making her think someone had entered without knowing she was there. But with the dip of the bed she knew she wasn't alone.



'I really hope this is my wife........' Carrie could hear Kelly giggling.



'You get many people visiting this room when im not here?.........'



'Only your mother.......'Carrie turned to find Kelly looking down at her. 'And that's only to yell at me...........hi........'



'Hi........'Kelly whispered back.



'What are you doing?..........'



'I missed you........'Kelly pulled back the covers as she lay down.



'I missed you too.......'Carrie whispered. 'But wont they miss you?.........'Carrie could still hear the band messing around in the living room.



'I'm sure they'll cope........anyway i'd rather be with you..........' Kelly snuggled down till she was resting her head on her wife's shoulder.



'I like that........'Carrie whispered into her hair. A small smile graced her lips as she felt Kelly's hands wrap round her waist.
