Boys Will Be Boys

Toshiya sat with Shinya in his room, his arms wrapped around the drummer. Toshiya rubbed his back gently, letting Shinya cry into his shoulder. Shinya had barely made it through the live without breaking down. He was never going to forgive Die for humiliating him like that, never. He would get Die back, somehow...Until then, Shinya just curled himself around Toshiya and cried.
"Ne, shhh...I talked to Kaoru-sama--"
Shinya winced and sobbed.
"--And he understands that I was just as much to blame and...he wasn't happy, but he's cooled down. He just...doesn't want it to happen again, ne? And it won't, ne??"
"Hai..." Shinya sighed and closed his puffy, red eyes. How could I have done such a stupid thing?
"It shocked us all, Shinya-kun...what's gotten into you?" Toshiya cupped Shinya's face and made him look at him, but Shinya couldn't bring himself to tell Toshiya that Die and he were having a battle over Toshiya like he was a piece of meat...He just gently pushed his face down, too ashamed to do anything but cry. Toshiya sighed softly, feeling helpless and even guilty. He gently laid down and let Shinya cuddle against him.
"Shh, easy...easy. It's okay! It's not like we were naked or anything...And you could've been doing something a lot worse."
Shinya frowned, starting to feel almost as much mad as he was embarrassed. Die-san keeps setting traps...and I keep falling for them...He can't get away with it, he can't. Toshiya-chan, I will make you mine before Die-san knows what hit him...
"C'mon, let's get you back to your room so you can rest, ne?"
Shinya nodded, though he wanted nothing more than to sleep beside Toshiya, protected by his arms. They sat up together slowly, Toshiya's hand on Shinya's back in case he needed help, and then got to their feet and made their way to Shinya's door.
"Eto, I'm not kicking you out, but I'm...not sure we should be together right now..."
Shinya felt his chest sieze at the pain that these words had caused him. He felt certain that he'd ruined everything now. There was no hope of him getting what he wanted anymore...Toshiya squirmed, seeing the pain he'd just caused his friend, and quickly added.
"It's just, I'm not sure I could lay next to you and not rape you silly."
Shinya tried to smile, but the joke reminded him so much of Die that he scowled.
"Gomen nasai....Oyasumi, Shin-Shin..."
Shinya closed his door silently and sank onto the ground in front of it. He put his hand on the door and curled his hand angrily into a claw and scratched the door, breaking nearly all of his flawless nails. He sank into utter dispair and cried himself to sleep on the floor; cold, alone, and miserable.

"Kyo-kun, just go get the damn kid! You know it's a bad sign when he's later coming out of his room than you."
"Demo, what if he tries to jerk me off too?"
"That's not funny. Don't be an asshole and go GET HIM."
Kyo scrunched his face up, pissed. He snatched the key from Kaoru's hand and went into Shinya's room without even knocking. Immediately, being rather clumbsy already despite being a body on the floor, tripped over Shinya and fell hard onto the ground.
"Itai!! FUCK!" He wiggled himself around and saw Shinya curled up on the floor and blinked. He quickly closed the door in everyone's face before they noticed what was going on. He knelt beside Shinya and shook him a little.
"Yo...wake up. Get up, ne? We're all waiting for you."
Shinya slowly turned his puppy-like eyes to Kyo and Kyo winced a little. He does look like a damn kid... Kyo sighed and awkwardly bent down and gave Shinya a little hug. He wasn't great with affection...
"Ne, we're waiting for you...get up."
Shinya just turned his head away and laid there.
"Kuso! Get the fuck up!!"
Shinya remained motionless.
"God dammit..." Kyo scowled and pulled Shinya up and toward the bathroom. "Is Toshiya-kun that good of a fuck that you have to get yourself in this sort of stage?"
Shinya snarled with anger and jerked away from the short man. Kyo dropped him.
"Fine! Fix yourself on your own God damn time, but when you get Kaoru-sama even more fucking mad at you, then it's your own fucking fault!" Kyo stormed toward the door and Shinya, realizing how very right he was, hurried over and stopped Kyo with a hug.
"Gomen nasai..."
"Yamete! You're acting like a damn lunatic!"
Shinya hung his head and sighed. "Kyo-kun...you of all people...I'd thought would have known what it felt like to loose someone you care so greatly about to another person...a person whom you thought was your friend..."
Kyo clenched his fists in anger, glaring at Shinya, then blinked as Shinya's words hit him, making his expression soften. He shifted uncomfortably, and frowned again, but again it faded clean away.
"I...you...th-that's none of your business."
"Maybe not, but it is yours...and you know mine, so even if you wanted to help, you could have."
"I tried to and you freaked out."
"I didn't like you talking about Totchi-kun like that..."
Kyo looked up at Shinya and sighed. "Ne, gomen..."
Shinya just shook his head a little.
"Seriously though, let's....l-let's get you cleaned up and outta here. Everyone's worried about you..."
Shinya looked at the blonde. "Everyone...?"
Kyo nodded. "Everyone."
Shinya smiled slightly, though he still felt broken inside, it was nice to know they didn't all hate him. He felt Kyo's hand encircle his arm above the elbow and let the older man lead him into the bathroom to clean up.

"Fuck it, I'm going in there."
"You can't, we don't have another key."
Toshiya looked at Kaoru. "They're alive in there, they'll answer the damn door."
"If you say so."
Toshiya went and reached his hand up to knock and stopped just centemeters away from Kyo's forehead. Kyo frowned and come out into the hallway where the rest of the band stood, shutting the door behind him.
"Anou?"
"He's almost ready. Just...be nice to him, ne? He's...had a rough night. He feels really shitty..."
Kaoru sighed and nodded. "Hai, eto...Die-kun, Toshiya-kun and Kyo-kun, onegai shimas, go downstairs and wait for us. Start packing your stuff on the bus, if it's still there..."
The three of them nodded to Kaoru and piled onto the elevator. Kaoru went and leaned on the wall beside Shinya's door, aching for a cigarette. A few moments later, Shinya slowly came out. He kept his head down and held tightly onto his things. He didn't realize Kaoru was standing almost behind him now and when he looked around slowly at the empty hallway, he relaxed.
"Shin-kun."
Shinya jumped a little, startled from Kaoru's deep voice and he turned around, sighing softly, waiting to be yelled at again.
"Shinya-kun...Gomen nasai for being so hard on you. I didn't mean to make you feel that bad..."
"Hai, I know..."
"You know why I was angry, don't you?"
"Hai, I do..." Shinya wished he could tell Kaoru that he wasn't just doing it to molest Toshiya, he really just wanted Toshiya to like him....to love him...
"Shinya-kun, what aren't you telling me?"
"I...I don't want to say."
"If it's going to affect our reputation and where we're welcome anymore, I think you'd better change that answer."
Shinya squirmed, feeling like a little boy who got called on to do a math problem in front of the class.
"I needed to do...what I did..."
"Shin-Shin, I know we're all guys and we all like sex, demo--"
"It wasn't about the sex, Kaoru-sama, onegai shimas...believe me."
"...I do, honestly. I know you're not one to ever even toe the line, but to jump across it so completely...It's just not like you at all."
"Eto..." Shinya sighed heavily and set his things down. "It's going to take a while to explain everything..."
"We've got the time. Our morning was ruined, but our afternoon is just travel time. Go ahead and say it, I'm listening."
Shinya slowly sat down on his suitcase and put his hands on his knees and proceeded to pour his heart out to Kaoru about how he felt. He told Kaoru how it'd been almost a year since Shinya confessed just to himself that he had a strong adoration for Toshiya, and now how it ached to see Toshiya go from one pointless relationship to the next, all the while Shinya behaved and stayed quiet and never acted upon his emotions. He was scared and embarrassed, afraid Toshiya would reject him. He then started telling Kaoru about how Die suddenly flipped a switch and decided to like Toshiya too and how the two had been fighting over him and what Die had said to Shinya to make him act the way he did. Nearly a half-hour later, Kaoru finally was given a chance to speak.
"Mm. Anou, I have a few things to say to that. One, Die-kun didn't just 'flip a switch', he's actually been fond of Toshiya for a while..."
Shinya frowned as another slap of pain ripped at his emotions.
"However, I don't think he has as long as you have."
Shinya's body sagged slightly with relief.
"Second, do you honestly think the way to Toshiya-kun's heart is through his crotch?"
"I...it seems that way sometimes, though I have doubts."
"Good. Die-kun probably said that so Toshiya-kun would only want sex from you, not love."
Shinya nodded a little and suddenly realized how that made much more sense than Die's suggestion of Shinya sexing his way into Toshiya's heart.
"Third..." Kaoru sighed and clamped a hand over Shinya's shoulder, "don't you dare breathe a word to Die-kun...demo, I hope Toshiya-kun realizes what a great kid you are, Shin-Shin."
Shinya turned his face up and stared at Kaoru.
"As much as I care about Die-kun, he's...a bit too much of a...a ano...well, let's just say I think you're a nicer boy for Toshiya-kun to find himself with."
Shinya blushed and couldn't surpress the smile that formed his lips.
"Ne, let's get outta this damn hotel already before they charge us another day of staying."
"H-Hai." Shinya stood and watched Kaoru walk down the hallway toward the elevator. He stayed back a few moments, still smiling. The day is looking up... Shinya gave a small laugh, gathered his things and ran toward the elevator.
