Show Me Love Again

"April, What's wrong? Why'd you run out?" Asked Mike as he ran up to April who was sitting on the curb of a street.
She looked up at him tears falling down her, glowing red cheeks. He sat down next to, keeping his eyes on hers.
"April, what's wrong? You can tell me. Please? I hate seeing you like this." Said Mike.
"I...I was raped 4 days ago, Mike. I can't tell anyone because this person will kill me and that person who was told." Said April tears
falling down her cheeks.
She placed her hand over her mouth realizing she just told someone and sooner or later Ron would be after Mike and herself.
Mike looked at her shocked that she was raped and how careful she kept it to herself. He carefully placed his hand on her shoulder to
try and comfort her. He felt her whole body shaking uncontrollably.
"Oh God April. I'm sorry. Have you told the police about this?" Asked Mike.
"No, Mike. I can't He'll...he'll kill me. Oh God. I've put you in danger now! I told you and he....he said that if I tell anyone he'd kill me
and that person. I'm so stupid!" Said April as she started to sob.
Mike looked at her as she sobbed feeling like his heart was breaking. He wanted to help her but he couldn't think of anything.
"April, Your not stupid. I think it was good that you told someone, its not safe for you to keep something like this in side and not tell
anyone. We'll just have to go to the police and have them take care of this." Said Mike as calm as he could be.
"Mike, I told someone, you. Now your going to be a target since you know what happened to me and so will I. We can't do anything.
This guy is crazy. He knows everything about me. We went to the same high school and now the same college. He's....he's like a stalker."
Said April.
Mike stood up, looking down at her and sighed then said "April, I love you so much I won't let anyone do anything to you. Not even this
sick bastard. Come on, why don't we go back to the arena? We can talk about this after the show, ok?"
April slowly got up, losing her balance and almost fell to the ground. Mike caught her before she fell, then put his arm around her as
they walked back to the arena.

Mike wasn't his usual happy self before the concert when they had came back to the arena. His face showed sadness and shock.
April excused herself to the bathroom to freshin up a bit and to clear her mind. Chester was sitting in Mike's dressing room to asked
how the "date" went when he noticed something was wrong with Mike. Chester got up and walked over to Mike as he was putting
something in his hair to make it spiky.
"You okay? You look like you seen a ghost or something." Asked Chester.
Mike turned away from the mirror to look at Chester, eyes glassy looking like he was going to break.
"I shouldn't be telling you this...but.....April...she told me she was raped 4 days ago." Said Mike trying to swallow the knot in his throat.
Chester stood there stunned by the news Mike had just told him, he blinked several times trying to think. There was a long period of
silence. Then finally Chester spoke.
"Who was it? I wanna know!" Asked Chester anger showing in his voice.
Mike shrugged then said "She never told me. She did say he went to her high school and is now going to her college."
Chester clenched his fist remembering Ron when April had came home and told him he sexually harassed her. It took 3 months for Ron
to fess up to what he'd done. After he did, the judge told him that he is not to contact her for any reason what so ever. Chester's
thoughts were broke when Mike said something.
"Things get worse.....if she tells anyone this guy will kill her and anyone who was told. I was told but I'm not gonna go down without a fight
if this guy does come after her or myself. I'll kill him if I have too!" Said Mike.
"Your not the only one and I know who this freak is! I swear if I see him he's gonna wish he'd never laid eyes on her!" Said Chester with hate in his voice.
They both stood there in silence when they heard a knock on the door.
"Come in." Said Mike.
The door knob turned and the door opened up and Joe poked his head in the room. He didn't have the cake in his hair anymore from when April dumped in on his head.
"Its time to go guys. You ready?" Asked Joe.
Mike and Chester nodded as they began to walk over to the door. Joe nodded back and closed the door.
"Looks like I'm gonna be pissed tonight during our performance." Said Chester as he walked out of the dressing room with Mike following behind him.
Mike tried to smile as they walked down the hall to the stage.
