Chapter 69
++++++++++
"You look so cute," Kelly grinned excitedly.
"Kell..." Carrie fussed as they walked across the parking lot holding hands.
"You do," Kelly insisted, looking at the pair of jeans and hoodie her girlfriend was wearing, a baseball cap covered low over her eyes to hide from the bright morning sun.
"I'm wearing nearly the same thing as you," Carrie pointed out. "You just have those capris on that you love so much."
"You love them too."
"Yea, cause they're easy to get off of you," she grinned mischievously.
"Shut up," Kelly laughed.
"It's true. I bet if it wasn't for your butt getting in the way, I could slide them off without even undoing them."
"Are you complaining about my butt?" Kelly asked, mocking shock.
"Now that is something you will never hear me do," Carrie promised, giving her a quick kiss before they walked into the arena where her tour rehearsals were taking place. "You've met Keith before, right?"
"Yea, I like him. He's short," Kelly nodded.
"It doesn't take much to impress you, does it?"
"You should know."
Carrie's jaw dropped, hitting her playfully as Kelly laughed, "You're so paying for that later."
"What?" Kelly asked, catching up to her, slipping their hands back together. "What do you mean by that?"
Carrie just shrugged.
"No, no," Kelly replied. "You are so not holding out on me. That's not fair."
"Life's not fair," Carrie teased.
"Sex as a bargaining chip?" Kelly squeaked. "That's inhumane."
"You said I was bad in bed," Carrie struggled to frown as she leaned against the railing for the first level of seats, crossing her arms.
"Now, I never said that," Kelly pointed out. "You assumed that's what I meant. Maybe, I was just talking about your lame jokes, cause hunny, everybody knows your jokes suck."
"You're one to talk."
"Please, I'm hilarious and you know it," Kelly smiled, wrapping her arms around her loosely. "Besides, you know you can't resist me."
"Says who?"
"Says the look in your eyes," she licked her lips, grinning as Carrie's eyes were glued to the movement.
"W-whatever."
"You mean to say if I wanted to do it right now; you wouldn't find the nearest closet with a lock on it?"
Carrie bit her lip, "Is that you saying you want to?"
Kelly raised an eyebrow, leaning up on her toes, kissing her firmly.
"Well, good morning ladies," a strong Australian accent behind them caused them to jump apart.
"Uh, I, um," Carrie struggled.
"Now, I'm sure we could find a way to work that into the show somehow, but I've heard that Kelly's on tour with Reba right now, so there might be a bit of a scheduling conflict."
Kelly laughed, "Hey Keith."
"Hey," he smiled, giving her a quick hug. "It's good to see you again. It's been awhile. Probably since the ACMA's last year, huh?"
"Yea," Kelly nodded. "I think so."
"How's everything?"
"Good. Everything's good. Just wanted to come watch Carrie rehearse," she smiled proudly.
They both turned to Carrie who was still bright red.
"She can be a bit shy at times," Keith laughed.
"She'll get over it, don't worry."
"Morning," Carrie finally managed with a small smile.

Carrie blushed as she caught Kelly's eye while she rehearsed one of her songs. The Texan was sitting on the floor, indian style, staring up at Carrie on stage, her eyes never leaving the country blonde.
"Kell," Carrie fussed into the microphone as the song ended.
"What?" she asked confusedly.
"Would you stop?"
"Stop what?"
"Stop looking at me like that."
"Like what?"
"You know like what," Carrie smiled.
"But I can't help it," Kelly countered.
"And I can't concentrate."
"Sorry," Kelly pouted. "Ok. Straight face. No love over here. I'm good."
Carrie laughed, nodding for the band to start the next song. She held a hand up, stopping them as Kelly began to gaze back up at her adoringly.
"Kelly Brianne."
"What?" she asked innocently.
Carrie shook her head, laughing before turning to her band, "Y'all know what? How about we take a break?"
A couple of them nodded, and she smiled, walking to the edge of the stage before hopping down.
Kelly watched the band members curiously, feeling slightly uneasy at the way they had been eyeing the country singer all morning, especially now as she walked towards her. She noted the slight scowl the bass player was wearing as he took off his bass, placing it on its stand before storming off the stage.
"Earth to Kelly," Carrie waved her hand in front of the Texan's face as she squatted down to be level with her.
"Huh? Sorry," she smiled at her.
"You're something else, you know that?" Carrie laughed, offering her a hand up.
Kelly accepted it, standing, "So, what's up?"
"You were looking at me again."
"You expect me to be checking out some other gorgeous blonde country singer?"
Carrie blushed slightly, "It's distracting."
Kelly's smile grew at the blush, "It's not my fault you're beautiful."
"Kell..." Carrie fussed, her cheeks turning a deeper red.
"What?" she grinned. "I'm just being honest."
"Well, we're taking a break right now, so maybe you can cool off for a bit."
"Is there somewhere we could go?"
Carrie laughed, taking her hand, "Come on."
Kelly had the hugest smile on her face as Carrie led her backstage, down a hall. She pushed a door open, tugging her inside. Kelly immediately spun them around, pushing Carrie against the door, her lips finding the taller blonde's neck.
Carrie quickly covered her mouth as a loud laugh escaped.
Kelly smiled as she pulled back to look at her, "You ok?"
"Shut up, you surprised me," she giggled.
Kelly looked around the room, "A bathroom? You brought us to a bathroom?"
Carrie frowned, looking at the bathroom stalls that lined one wall, and the sinks that lined the other, "I really thought this was my dressing room."
"Oh well," Kelly shrugged, her lips finding the other girl's neck once more.
Carrie's eyes closed as her head tilted back. Her hands fell to the back of Kelly's cargo pants as she felt the Texan's body pressing into her own.
"How long of a break do you have?" Kelly asked, her breath hot on Carrie's neck.
"Kell," Carrie laughed.
Kelly pressed her lips against the country singer's, her hand slipping up the back of her shirt.
"Plenty long enough," Carrie nodded as she pulled back, smiling at the spark in her girlfriend's eyes, her heart jumping in excitement.
"Good," Kelly nodded, smiling as well. "I love you."
"Doubt it," Carrie teased.
Kelly's eyes lit up as she grinned, accepting the challenge. She kissed her once more before kissing her way across her jaw line to her ear. "You'll see," she whispered.
Carrie shivered as she tugged on Kelly's hips, pulling her as close as possible as she felt the shorter girl sucking on her neck.
"Don't leave a mark," Carrie breathed.
"Why not?"
"Because I have to go back out there."
"So?" she asked, her right hand undoing the button of Carrie's jeans.
"You don't care?"
"Why should I?" Kelly asked, looking at the red mark on Carrie's neck proudly.
Carrie smiled, "Fine. Your turn."
Before Kelly could question her, Carrie's lips were against her skin as she pushed her back. Kelly hissed softly as Carrie bit down gently. "You suck," she replied as she ran a hand through Carrie's hair.
"Mmhmm," Carrie agreed against Kelly's neck.
Kelly bit down on her bottom lip to keep from moaning at the feeling of it, her back now pressed against the sink counter. She reached down for the zipper of Carrie's jeans before getting her hands batted away.
Carrie gave a quick instruction of, "Up," and Kelly hopped up onto the countertop. Carrie stepped forward in between her legs, smiling at her fellow idol. She leaned forward, stopping just before their lips touched as her hand reached down between them, lightly running over the center of Kelly's capris. She heard Kelly's breath catch in her throat, and she pressed their lips together in a firm kiss.
Carrie kept her hand there as their tongues collided. Kelly's hand found the back of Carrie's neck, and she pulled her towards her, deepening the kiss. Carrie felt her moan against her lips, and nearly melted.
Kelly's hips pushed into Carrie's touch, pinning her hand in between their two bodies. She raised her other one to undo the button and zipper on the capris. Kelly broke the kiss at the feeling of Carrie's hand slipping inside of capris, and her head fell on her shoulder, kissing the soft skin. Carrie turned, kissing her temple gently as her hand moved in a slow, deliberate circle. She felt Kelly's heavy breathing on her skin as she rested in the crook of her neck, one of her hands gripping tightly onto Carrie's arms, the other to the edge of the countertop.
Kelly bit down at the feeling of Carrie's fingers suddenly inside of her.
"You know this would be easier if you didn't have anything on," Carrie commented.
"Kinda unsanitary."
Carrie laughed, "Germaphobe."
Kelly snorted, but took a sharp breath at the feeling of Carrie changing her motion slightly.
"Come here," Carrie smiled, pulling back, and helping Kelly off the counter. She tugged her into one of the bathroom stalls, locking it.
"What are you doing?" Kelly asked as Carrie tugged down her capris, kneeling before her. Kelly's eyes widened as Carrie placed both her hands firmly on her hips, holding her there. "S-s-shit," she breathed at the feeling of Carrie's lips against her.
Carrie laughed, and Kelly's hand found her hair once more, pulling her closer. Kelly looked around for something else to hold onto but found nothing. Her hips rolled against Carrie's mouth at the feeling of her tongue against her. She felt her left hand against her right thigh, pulling on it slightly to widen her stance before stroking it softly.
Kelly's knees buckled at the feeling of Carrie's right hand coming up, two of her fingers slipping inside of her once more. The sound of her moaning, echoed throughout the bathroom.
"Shh," Carrie murmured against her.
Kelly gasped as she bit down on her bottom lip hard to keep from crying out. Her hand pushed against the stall door firmly to try and hold herself up. Her eyes closed as she got lost in the feeling surrounding her.
Carrie's left hand slid from her leg to her hip, holding her still as she heard her name pouring from her lips.
Kelly wobbled slightly, still dizzy as Carrie pulled away, watching her with a smile. The country singer immediately reached up, placing both hands on her waist, steadying her. She stood up, kissing her gently.
Kelly's hand found the back of her neck, pulling her closer, deepening the kiss.
Carrie pulled back with a soft laugh, "You ok?"
Kelly nodded, finally opening her eyes which were glued to the other blonde's lips. She slowly ran her thumb across them, before pulling her back to her for another kiss.
"Kell..." Carrie whispered breathlessly as Kelly pushed her against the other side of the bathroom stall, pinning her there.
Kelly pulled up her capris after nearly tripping over them, rebuttoning them before pressing her lips firmly against Carrie's once more. She pinned Carrie's arms to the wall with her hands, holding them there as she pressed herself fully against her.
"You taste...really good," she admitted, pulling back slightly, her breathing having never returned to normal from before.
"Actually..." Carrie replied, their noses touching as she tilted her head, their lips barely brushing against each other. "That would be you." She heard Kelly groan, her eyes blazing as their lips collided once more. Carrie felt her legs turn to jello at the feeling of Kelly's tongue in her own mouth.
"Did you hear that?" Kelly whispered, pulling back quickly.
"Huh?" Carrie replied, completely thrown by the lack of contact.
"Shh..." Kelly brought a finger up to Carrie's lips.
Carrie grinned, taking the tip of it in her mouth, lightly running her tongue over it.
Kelly tensed, fighting back a response as she looked at the other girl warningly.
Carrie smiled back innocently, her heart racing at how dark the Texan's eyes were. But then she heard it too, several high pitched voices from outside the door. "Shoot, someone's coming. I can't get the lock open," she said, trying to open the door. The sound of the bathroom door starting to open caused her to freeze. She felt Kelly's arms around her from behind, pulling her down onto her lap.
"Pick your feet up," Kelly whispered in her ear.
Carrie did as she was told, holding her feet up against the bathroom stall as they heard several girl's entering the bathroom, Kelly's breathing heavy on her ear.
Kelly kissed the top of her ear softly, slowly making her way across the edges of it before kissing the soft spot just behind it, blocking out the sound of the girls talking outside of the stall. She smiled as Carrie pushed down into her.
Carrie's eyebrows raised as Kelly placed her hand over her mouth. Her question was answered however at the feeling of Kelly's hand slipping inside her jeans that were still undone from before. Her moan was silenced by Kelly's hand as her head fell back onto the shorter girl's shoulder.

"Where's everybody at?" Carrie asked as she walked onto the stage, holding onto Kelly's hand, still wearing a huge smile.
"They left," a sound guy replied as he helped set up the stage for Keith.
"What do you mean they left? We were gone like twenty minutes. Who told them they could leave?"
"Childers."
"Mark," Carrie nodded. "What did he say?"
"He said that it was a wrap for this morning."
"Who's Mark?" Kelly asked.
"My musical director. He, um, he plays bass. Why would he say it was a wrap? We still had another five songs to run through."
"Your bass player, huh? I could think of a few reasons," Kelly frowned.
"Like what?" she asked turning to her.
"You're looking at her," she sighed. "Sorry, Care."
Carrie wrapped an arm around her, kissing her forehead, "Don't worry about it. I'll just have a talk with him. It's probably just a misunderstanding."
"So does that mean I don't get to watch you anymore today?" Kelly pouted.
"No, I still have a couple things to do with Keith, so you're in luck," Carrie smiled.
