Everything I Own

Amber and Justin both went to their rooms and Amber hopped into the shower. Once Justin was done changing, he went downstairs and started making dinner for the both of them. He made up the table with his best tablecloth and put candles on the table. And once he got dinner in the oven, he went in and put on some soft, slow romantic music and sat down on the couch. Amber got out of the shower and got dressed in some clothes and came downstairs, “Justin why did you turn off all the lights?”. She got down to the bottom of the stairs and went into the living room where she saw Justin on the sofa. He looked up at her and smiled, “Boy you look beautiful” Amber laughed, “I do not i'm wearing shorts and a t-shirt and my hair is all messed up and everything. I do not look beautiful” Justin stood up and wrapped his arms around her waist, “I think you look beautiful” Amber looked down and blushed. “Well I think dinner is ready now, so go sit down at the table and ill go serve it up ok?” Amber nodded and went and sat down noticing the candles and the tablecloth and smiled to herself. Justin came in a few minutes later with the lasagna. He sat down and they started eating in silence. Justin sat there trying to find a way to break the silence. Finally he looked at her, “Um so does it taste ok?” Amber smiled, “Yeah it tastes great”.


They finished eating and Justin came over to her and helped her stand up and lead her into the living room and sat her on the couch and he sat down next to her. Justin sat there for a few minutes trying to figure out how to say what he wanted to. Finally he turned and faced Amber and took her hand. “Amber I really did mean all the things I said to you in the hospital. I really have fallen in love with you. You mean the world to me and I just can’t picture my life without you in it. And it would mean so much to me if you’d give me the chance to be in your life as your boyfriend” Amber smiled and tightened her grip on Justin’s hand and looked deep into his eyes, “Justin I thought you would never ask. Of course I would” Justin leaned forward and started kissing her passionately and deeply. After quite awhile of kissing, he pulled back smiling, “You don’t know how long i've been wanting to kiss you like that and I had to do everything in my power for the longest time to just not grab you and kiss you” Amber laughed, “Justin I wouldn’t have minded. Ive been wanting you to kiss me like that for quite awhile now too” Justin laughed, “Now you tell me” “Well honey you never told me your feelings” “Yeah yeah yeah I know its always the guys fault” Amber laughed and kissed Justin softly on the lips, “And make sure you always remember that too Justy”. Justin laughed and pulled her closer to him and they spent the night on the couch holding each other not saying a word.
