Nathan and Mariah's wedding
I'm so sorry for not updating this story in a long time. I know but I've been working on some of my other stories on my other site and I completely abandoned this one. Not to worry, though, I won't be abandoning this one any longer since there's only one more chapter after this. Plus, the other reason why I didn't work on this story is because I'm developing two brand new Mariah Carey stories. One will be about her recent marriage to Nick Cannon and the other, I'm having her paired with George Michael! Look out for that!
BTW, this chapter is kinda short because I'm already working on the ending, which happens to be in the next chapter!

Two Years Later
New York City, New York
Mariah's apartment
Mariah couldn't believe the day was finally here. After two years of planning and waiting, she couldn't wait to walk down the aisle and join her life with the man she loves the most. Nathan made her dreams come true and there was nothing she could do to stop the excitement lurking inside of her. Today was her wedding day and she was so happy.
"My daughter, I'm so happy that you're gonna be the first in the family besides me to get married," her mother Patricia Carey beamed with happiness.
Mariah couldn't stop smiling. "I know, Mom. Can you believe it? In less than an hour, I'm gonna be Mrs. Nathan Morris. I'm so excited, I can't stand still."
"Well, he's a upstanding young man with a bright future on his shoulders. It's about time you found someone who's on your level."
"Yeah. To think the last few years were hard for me, I thought I had given up on love. But, Nate showed me it's not too late. He helped me, he saved me and he made me believe in love again. I'm nervous, though," Mariah explained.
Patricia wrapped an arm around her daughter's shoulder. "Honey, that's normal. I was nervous when I married your father. I had thirteen good years with him. You'll have a lifetime with Nate."
"Really?"
"Really. Now, let's go get you married."

Room 303
"Would you stop messing with your tie, man? I'm telling you, you look fine," Wanya scolded as he slapped Nate's hands away from the bow tie he was wearing.
"Sorry. I just wanted to make sure it was on right, that's all," the soup cooler lippe singer assured.
"It looks fine. Man, making sure your tie is on right is the least of your worries. In a few minutes, you're gonna be marrying one the most beautiful women in the world. How fucking lucky are you?"
"Damn lucky. I didn't know what I did right to deserve it, but I'm not about to damage it right now. And, speaking of happiness, how's Anya doing?"
Wanya smiled, thinking about his daughter. "Man, she's great. She got me wrapped around her tiny little finger. I'm in love with her."
"Children are great. Well, this is it. I'm gonna be someone's husband in a few. Is it possible for me to say that I'm scared as hell?" Nate asked.
"Pre-wedding jitters are normal. But, when you see Mariah in that wedding dress, you're gonna forget you were ever nervous in the first place."
"You're right, man. Let's go get me married right now!"

20 minutes later
Wedding cermony
"Do you Nathan, take Mariah as your lawfully wedded wife?" the minister asked.
"I do," he said without hesitation, looking at the woman he loved with all his heart.
"And do you Mariah, take Nathan as your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do," she said through her tears.
"Then, by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."
Nate lifted the veil away from her face. Mariah smiled like a fool when he leaned over and kissed her passionately, wrapping his arms around her.
"I love you," he whispered to her.
She smiled. "I love you, too."
