Unexpected Places (Part Two)

As Amanda made her way through the crowded room, she felt her phone vibrate from beneath her dress. She passed by a couple, gyrating on each other as she found a path to an open area. She pulled out her cell to see that she had another text. She assumed it was from Leah, but soon thought otherwise:

::You look gorgeous tonight.::

It was from an unknown number, but she didn’t need a number to know who it was from. It was Alex. And by the sound of it, he was there. At the party. Watching.

Goosebumps suddenly spread across her skin rapidly. Amanda entered one of the rooms not being used to find Sisky quietly watching a TV. It was set on the weather channel.

“Hey,” Amanda greeted him as he turned his head towards her, “Is there nothing better on?” she laughed.

“Ha, yeah. Well I was just checking. There’s a storm coming.”

“Oh?”

“Yeah, it should be hear within the hour, maybe by one in the morning.”

“Ok, well I’ll catch up with you later then.” She said as she felt her phone vibrate again. As she went back into the main room she pulled it back out:

::You were always an angel to me.::

Amanda quickly shut her phone off and put it away. She began to move toward the kitchen. Maybe there was something she could help out with.

As she entered the kitchen, she saw that it was empty. Everyone else was too busy having a good time to go into the kitchen. She went and stood over by the window in the corner. She glanced out the foggy window which had begun to collect raindrops that were beginning to steadily fall from the dark sky. The water streamed down the window, reducing the outside world to blurry streaks. She could just barely see her own reflection.

A small flash of lightning lit up the sky, illuminating the glass to reveal a figure wearing a white mask standing behind her. Amanda quickly spun around, clasping her hand over her heart.

“Sisky, you’ve got to stop with that damn mask!” She panted, catching her breath.

However, he stood in silence as he lifted one of his hands to caress the side of her cheek. She looked up into the masked face as his hand slid down to twirl a bit of her hair between his fingers.

“What’s up with you?” Amanda asked as his hand slowly dropped past her heaving breasts. He was standing close. Too close. His hand traced down her side and stopped to rest on her hip, “What are you doing?” She asked looking up questioningly at the man before her.

Just then, the side door to the kitchen swung open as a mask-less Sisky slipped in and glanced at Amanda, “Hey, have you seen my mask?” He opened the fridge and peered inside, “I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Who’s your friend?” He turned to her.

Amanda looked back up to the white mask in front of her with terror on her face. She reached up with a trembling hand and pulled the mask off.

“Alex.” She breathed.

“Miss me baby?” He said as he tried to lean in to kiss her. She immediately ducked out of the way and pushed his head towards the window, making him smack against the glass. He howled at the bump now forming on his forehead.

“Sisky! Go get someone. Now!” She yelled at Sisky. He quickly ran out into the main room.

While giving orders, Amanda didn’t notice Alex regaining his strength behind her. She screamed as he grabbed her around her waist and thrust her against the wall. He held her there, pinned between the wall and his body. He forced her hands violently above her head with a tight grip making her yelp.

“Come on baby, I always knew you liked it rough.” He growled into her ear, beginning to kiss her neck savagely. Amanda struggled under his hold, but couldn’t break free. Alex began to lightly drag his teeth along her neck before biting down harshly. She screamed out as he broke the skin. She tried to kick him, but there wasn’t enough room between them to complete the action.

Just as she began to lose hope, she felt Alex being swiftly pulled off of her. She looked up and saw William grab Alex by the front of his shirt with one hand and punched him right in the nose with the other. Alex stumbled to the floor as William advanced on him. The two men were in a tangle of flailing limbs and striking fists on the ground.

Amanda quickly pulled her phone back out and called the police. When she hung up she moved over to the side of the counter. She didn’t want to get in the middle of the fight, but she wanted it to be put to an end before anyone got too hurt.

“Stop it!” She yelled at them, “William! Stop it now!”

Upon hearing his name being yelled, William froze and looked over to Amanda, but was then tackled once again by Alex. Amanda’s hands flew to her mouth as she gasped. Alex was on top of William, pressing his forearm against William’s throat. William’s hands clawed at Alex’s arm, struggling for air. At that moment, Amanda ran towards them and grabbed hold of Alex’s shoulder’s trying to pull him back.

“Stop it Alex! He can’t breath!” She shouted.

Becoming annoyed with her, Alex backhanded Amanda across her face as she fell to the floor. Thankfully, before anymore damage could be done, the police came storming into the kitchen pulling apart the fight. They restrained Alex while Amanda rushed over to help William up as he panted heavily, regaining his breath.

Amanda stood side-by-side with William and Sisky on the front porch as the police directed Alex toward a cop car in handcuffs. Before they forced him into the back of the car, he yelled back to Amanda.

“We’ll see each other again Amanda! We’re meant for each other, if I can’t have you then nobody can! You’re MINE!” He screamed the last word as they shoved him into the car and slammed the door.

A/N: Ok so, I didn’t want to make this go into three parts, but it look like that’s what’s gonna happen so...review! Let me know how you’re liking it so far and hopefully I’ll get part three up very soon!
