Hey Ash.
Just a quick note before dinner. Carrie's cooking for a few of our neighbours so I really must get ready. Anyway just to let you know what's been up.
The albums finished and a few record companies over here are showing an interest, ok every record company is but I'm trying not to be big headed about the whole thing, it's not the right time to be signing any new deals. they renewed my contract at the radio station, Yes can you believe I'm getting paid to sit and talk. Plus I get to sing a few songs each show. Carrie's loving that, she says I've been moping from lack of preforming. We've been recording a few things together, I'll send you them when we're done.
Carrie's been busy with the house , I can't wait for you and Jason to see it, she's painted every room on her own, I swear I don't know what I would do without her. She's even finished the special room which I am not allowed to see until it's time.
We had a few Texans on the beach last week, I nearly cried when I heard the accent, I can't believe it's been a year since we've been home. But I guess we are home. Australia is good for us, we're both happy and relaxed and very sun kissed thank you very much. I swear having a beach on our front lawn really does wonders for you. Not that I don't miss Texas, there are days when I just want to pack up and come running home. But then I look at how far Carrie and I have came and I know we made the right choice.
OK my quick note had turned into a big tale, but then who else can I say all this too. You, Jason and Jacob need to come out soon it's been to long and we miss you, Yes even Carrie does. Not that she would admit it. I even came home from work and caught her on the phone with my mother the other day, Yes that's right my wife and mother talking without me forcing them. I guess miracles do come true. Anyway I better go, if I'm not ready when the neighbours come Carrie starts to panic. She's still having trouble understanding the accent. She accused our married neighbour last week of talking about her breasts , turns out he was asking how long the chicken will be. It's the blond in her coming out. Well I'll go and promise to answer your email quicker next time. Give big kisses to your husband and son for me. Love
