Toshiya stirred the next morning, hearing the sounds of three very soft but very angry voices.
"How COULD you, Kyo-san? You knew we both liked him!"
"Sou desu ka? Then why the fuck have you two been ignoring him?"
"We were embarrassed!"
"And I wonder who's fault that is. Hmm."
"Damare, Kyo-kun!"
"Don't fucking tell me to shut up! I'm the ONLY one who stayed with him. You two just treated him like a damn sex object and fucking left. Is that my fault?"
"That's not fair."
"Ne, isn't it?"
Shinya frowned and crossed his arms and Die scowled, looking away.
"...Must you all fight over me like a damn piece of meat?"
They all turned and looked at Toshiya, who was frowning at all of them. "Kyo-kun is right, he is the only one that stayed with me."
"Totchi-kun...onegai, I would have--"
"Demo, you were just so desperate to make me feel good physically that it didn't really matter what I felt like emotionally? I mean, I know I seem like a little whore to you, but I still have feelings, you know..."
"That's not it at all!" Shinya felt tears form in his eyes.
Toshiya sighed and slowly sat up, not wanting to deal with so much angst in the morning. He knew Shinya would never purposely hurt him, but he was angry and annoyed that they were fighting with Kyo over him after the two of them had almost completely ignored him. Kyo was the only one who seemed loving, not like them...
"Gomen nasai...Demo...Kyo-kun talked with me while you two were ignoring me and then he...not only did he make me feel amazing, but he....he held me...and stayed with me...treated me like I wanted to be treated."
Kyo looked down a moment, skuffing his foot on the carpet--he'd never been good with the lovey, mushy stuff--then slowly went over to Toshiya, sat beside him and put his arms around Toshiya.
"If anyone, he's the one I choose...Gomen nasai."
Shinya shook his head and, unable to take it anymore, sobbed and left Toshiya's room in a hurry. Die just glared at both of them and then slowly left, slamming the door a bit behind them. Toshiya lowered his head and clung to Kyo.
"They hate me now..."
"Ne, who cares? I mean, I don't think they do...but even IF they did, you have one person that loves you enough to make up for both of them. And has loved you since his eyes first fell upon you."
Toshiya slowly looked up into Kyo's eyes. "Why...why didn't you ever tell me how you felt?"
"I...have this....huge thing about rejection..."
"Nn...gomen..."
"Don't be, you didn't reject me, did you?"
"Iie! Not at all!" Toshiya smiled and gently held Kyo's cheek, stroking it gently. His smile slowly faded though as his thoughts went back to the bishounen and the red-head. He looked down at the bed and bit his lip. "Eto...you think I should talk to them?"
"Once they've cooled down a bit."
Toshiya sighed and snuggled against Kyo, all sorts of emotions running through him. He started to relax, however, as Kyo stroked his back gently. "Just try to relax, Toshiya-kun. They'll get over it."
"I hope so..."
"Ne, I know so."
"...When do we have to be out of here?"
"Mm..." Kyo looked at the clock, "not for another few hours."
"Good, let's go back to sleep then, ne? I...I'm still kinda tired."
"You read my mind." Kyo kissed Toshiya's forehead and slowly laid down with him. Toshiya put his arms around Kyo's waist and the fell asleep in each other's gentle embrace.

"This is BULLSHIT!"
"Shinya-kun--"
"Iie!" Shinya paced around his room, shaking with anger and frustraition. "That little bastard stole Totchi-kun away and I--...I...I-I'm really MAD!"
Die tried not to laugh. Not only was Shinya no kawaii when he was mad, but he'd sworn three times in two seconds, and Shinya hardly ever spoke; let alone curse.
"It was a low blow, demo...he...sorta has a point."
Shinya turned and stared at die. "A point? A POINT?! It...we...we ignored Toshiya-kun for his own benifit! Not ours!"
"Are you so sure? Can you honestly say that you hardly looked at Toshiya-kun because you were totally comfortable at looking at him....but you wanted to not embarrass him? Nn?"
"I...anou..." Shinya stood before Die and twisted his hands nervously, then looked down. "I...I guess I was too uncomfortable to look at him..." Shinya bit his bottom lip and sighed. "I guess...that was kind of selfish, ne?"
Die looked down, ashamed too. They both sighed in unison, then smiled and laughed a little. Shinya's face was the first to break with sadness.
"It's just...I...I feel so betrayed."
"Ne, sit down with me. You're makin' me nervous standing in front of me like that."
"Gomen nasai." Shinya sank onto the bed next to Die and sighed. Shinya rubbed his face with his hands, not comfortable with the feeling of drying tears. Die put his arm over Shinya's shoulders comfortingly and Shinya rested his head against Die.
"This...is sorta weird."
"Nanda?"
"You and I...being all....nice."
Shinya pulled away, blushing a little. "I didn't mean--"
"Iie, iie, come back here." Die grinned and pulled Shinya closer. "I wasn't finished."
Shinya smiled a little in spite of himself.
"It's...kind of nice...ne?"
"Mm. Hai." Shinya bit his bottom lip as his head leaned on Die's shoulder. He pictured himself like this with Toshiya, not Die...What's happening...? Shinya slowly looked up at Die who, to his surprise, was already looking down at him. Die started to lean his head down toward Shinya as Shinya's eyes danced between Die's eyes and his lips.
"I..."
"Shh..." Die was a hair's width away from Shinya's supple lips when the door open and they both froze.
"Kuso!!" Die glared at the door as angrily as he would have if it'd bit him. Shinya blinked, still looking at Die, then flustered and hurried for the door. He pulled it open and gasped when he came face-to-face with Kaoru.
"Ano--"
"Urr...am I..interupting...?"
"Iie! Iie, not at all. I was just leaving." Shinya hurried past him and went to his own room as fast as his legs could take him. Kaoru watched Shinya go into his room, then looked at Die.
"Die-kun--"
"Hai, I know, I know...time to pack and leave."
"Hai, ja ne."
"Ja ne." Kaoru closed the door and Die rose to his feet and packed his things, unable to stop thinking about how close he'd come to kissing the man he once thought he hated.
