dedicated to my darling karin as always for being my guardian angel and the bam to my ville!!!! LOL!!!! can't wait for the 26th honey!!!
They stayed that way for most of the day, locked together in a tangle of limbs, Ville thinking about the memories of his life that still haunted him, and Bam trying to accept the new understanding and empathy he had for the vampire. The silence was interupted by Bam's stomach growling loudly.
"Oops, sorry." Bam grinned sheepishly.
"That's ok darling." Ville replied moving off Bam to the other side of the bed. "You should go and get something to eat."
"Come with me and I'll make us both something." Bam offered, then, as he thought about it, "do you actually eat human food?"
"I don't need to but I like to. It's nice to have other tastes other than blood."
Bam bit back a grimace at the thought of tasting blood but Ville still noticed and tried hard not to laugh. They both pulled on some pants and wandered down to the kitchen.
"Uh, it's gonna have to be sandwiches or something done in the microwave cos Ape won't let me use the oven any more." Bam admitted once they were there.
"She won't let you use the oven? Why not?"
"Cause I set fire to it when they were away and they had to buy a new one." Bam hung his head like he was ashamed but looked up with a smirk when Ville started to laugh.
"Well, how about I cook for us. It'll only be stirfry if that's ok?"
Bam nodded slightly stunned as Ville turned to look in the fridge.
"Vampires were human at some point sweetheart." Ville said without turning around. "We do know how to cook and read and all that other stuff that you humans can do."
"I know, I'm sorry." Bam said, blushing furiously. "It's just that I'd always thought that if someone actually met a vampire it would rip their throat out, not cook them dinner."
Ville gave his strange, almost girlish laugh again. "Ok, fair point darling, you win."
Bam pulled himself up onto the counter and sat there watching Ville cook. It was strange seeing all these different sides to him. He'd been creepy and psychotic, posseive, insane, vulnerable and child like and now he seemed almost normal and domestic. He hadn't realized he was staring until Ville turned to face him, two plates of stirfry in his hands and a bittersweet smile on his face.
"Dinners ready baby." He placed the plates on the table with the cutlery and held out his hand to help Bam down. Hesitantly taking the offered hand, Bam allowed himself to be helped off the counter. He found himself pressed up close to Ville once his feet were on the floor, close enough that he could see the different shades of green in his eyes. They stood like that for a few moments until Ville leant forward and placed a gentle chaste kiss on Bam's lips before pulling out a chair from the table and guiding Bam into it.
He sat down in the chair opposite him and watched as Bam took a tentitive bite of stirfry.
"Wow, this is really good." Bam said wide eyed. "Where did you learn to cook?"
"I used to cook a lot for myself when I was alive because, ironically, I was a vegetarian and the rest of my family weren't."
Bam laughed out loud as he imagined human, vegetarian Ville being told that within a few years he would be drinking human blood on a regular basis. He kept his head down shovelling the food into his mouth like a starving person. In fact, that comparison wasn't far off. Ever since Ville had started stalking him, he'd been too worried to eat properly and apart from a couple of pizza's over the weeks, this was his first meal since it had all began.
He quickly cleared his plate and finally looked up to see Ville smiling at him contentedly. "Her, you can have mine as well." He said, pushing his plate over to Bam.
"No, that's ok, you should eat it." Bam protested weakly, trying to ignore the temptation of it sitting right on front of him.
"I told you, I don't need to eat human food but you do and I know you haven't been eating properly so you have it, you need it more than me."
That was all the encouragment Bam needed and he set to work on the second plate, feeling Ville watching him the whole time. It wasn't until after he'd finished eating that the vampire spoke though. "Are you happy Bam? Right now, at this moment, are you happy?"
The question was laced with an underlying sadness and Bam knew that the question meant more than just wanting to know how he was feeling. Knowing it was important somehow, Bam took the time to actually think hard about it before answering.
"Yes. Yeah I am happy." The answer suprised even himself but he was immediately glad that he'd been honest when Ville's face lit up in his first true smile that day.
"Good. All I want is for you to be happy sweetheart." He picked up the plates and put them back in the dishwasher as he spoke. "I'm going to take a shower unless you need the bathroom first."
Bam shook his head and Ville started out of the room towards the bathroom but hesitated when he reached the kitchen door.
"I know you don't believe me but I do love you and I won't hurt you or tire of you. You're worth too much to be treated like that." He left Bam unable to talk round the lump in his throat. Ville's words had been so raw with emotion and it was obvious that he'd meant every word. It was equally as obvious that Ville thought that he hadn't been worth treating well. He still thought he'd deserved everything that had happened to him. It made Bam's heart clench thinking about it.
He found a sympathy for the man, after all, with all the awful things that had happened to him when he was human, he was bound to be a a little mentally disturbed and it wasn't like he had a choice about becoming a vampire in the first place. What he needed was to be reminded that his life didn't need to be based around pain and violence. Bam took a deep breath to calm his nerves before resolutely walking down the hallway.
When he and his brother Jess were younger, before Jess moved out into his own place, they'd found out that the bathroom door could be unlocked from the outside and that's what Bam did now, creeping inside and locking the door behind him. His heart was pounding so loud that he was suprised Ville couldn't hear it over the running water.
Studiously ignoring the voice in his head that was screaming at him that this was a bad idea, Bam took off his pants and stepped into the shower behind Ville. The thought of what he was about to do made him so nervous he thought he would puke but he squashed down any negative feelings and concentrated on why he was doing it in the first place. He reached out and tentively ran his fingers down Ville's spine causing him to spin round in shock.
"Bam, what are you doing?" He gasped, trying to catch his non existant breath as the humans curious fingers started to trail down his chest, stopping briefly to pinch experimentally at his nipples.
"I'm giving you what you need." Bam replied, his voice wavering slightly as his hand continued it's downward journey.
Ville grabbed hold of his hand, stopping it just before it reached his pelvic bone. "What is it that you think I need?" He asked defensively.
"Your first time was when you were raped wasn't it." Bam stated, ignoring the question for now. "What about other times, what were they like?"
"Where are you going with this?" Ville aske impatiently.
"Apart from Mige, has anyone ever touched you gently? Treated you like you were worth something?"
Ville met his gaze, an unreadable expression on his face but his silence confirmed what Bam already knew.
"I didn't think so." He stepped forward nervously and brushed his lips against Ville's cool ones only to be pushed away.
"Stop it. I don't need your sympathy." Ville hissed.
"It's not sympathy Ville."
"Then what is it?"
"I told you, it's giving you what you need." He moved forward again and this time Ville didn't stop him. Their lips met and Bam gently took control, running his fingers through the long brown hair and tracing Ville's soft pouty lips with the tip of his tongue. He pulled back, grabbing the wash cloth off the shelf in the shower and pouring some strawberry scented shower gel on it.
He nervously moved the sudded cloth back to Ville's chest, gently rubbing in small circles as he focused on his task. Ville groaned as Bam ran the rough cloth over his sensitive nipples, his back instinctively arching towards it. He braced himself against the wall, as Bam continued to caress his torso with the cloth. His head fell back as the washcloth was abandoned and Bam's hand travelled further down his body, stroking the inside of his thighs. As Bam continued to learn the contours of his body with his hands and a warm mouth attached itself to his earlobe, he bit down on his bottom lip to stifle his cries of pleasure.
Encouraged by the choked moans escaping Ville's mouth, Bam stepped closer and rolled his hips
forward, his own erection brushing against Ville's which caused him to moan out loud and rock back against him, his head falling forward against Bam's shoulder.
He knew it had been his idea to start with but now that he was actually going through with it, Bam was getting rather nervous. He'd never touched another guy intimately before and he was worried about not being good enough. He was also still having an internal battle with himself, the big part of him that was still in denial, was making him feel weird about doing this with another man. He knew that if he hestitated for too long, Ville would know that he wasn't as confident and sure of himself as he seemed, so he took a deep, reassuring breath and slowly wrapped his fingers around Ville's cock, pumping him steadily.
Ville had been kissing down Bam's throat and neck, his hands stroking down Bam's back and ass, but the feeling of Bam's gentle, unsure touch, was fast driving him insane with need.
"So good Bam, I need more of you. Fuck me." Ville begged, his hips thrusting forward into Bam's grip.
Bam nodded wide eyed and looked around, his gaze landing on a bottle of conditioner. Grabbing it from the shelf, he coated his erection with it. He covered two of his fingers as well and slowly eased them into Ville, stretching him and wishing he was more experienced so he knew that what he was doing was right.
Ville pushed back impatiently against Bam's fingers, almost trying to fuck himself on them. "Bam, I'm not human, you don't need to worry about hurting me or stretching me. Please, just fuck me."
"No. I told you, this is about giving you what you need. You need someone to treat you gently, to prove to you that your life isn't just about pain, and that's what I'm going to do."
Gripping Ville's hips, he lifted the slim man up and Ville immediately wrapped his long legs around Bam's waist as the head of Bam's cock was pressed against his entrance. "Ready?"
"Yes! Please, Bam." Ville moaned, rocking his hips in an effort to make him hurry up. Taking the hint, Bam gently eased himself into Ville, brushing his wet hair out of his face and placing small kisses down his neck.
He stood unmoving, wanting to let Ville get used to the feeling again but apparently the vampire had other ideas as he clenched his muscles around him, milking his cock. He had to fight the urge to fuck him against the wall and instead he built up a slow steady rythm, kissing and caressing each other until Ville got too impatient and started to rock insistently back against him. He could feel his orgasm building, and he quickened his pace on Ville's aching cock, taking him over the edge at the same time as he came, the shower washing away Ville's release. He immediately moved back and let Ville step back onto the floor, afraid he was going to drop him as his legs were shaking so much.
They helped bathe each other, a comfortable silence between them, only punctuated with light kisses as they got out of the shower and got dressed. They left the bathroom and the cool air hit them both. It seemed to wake up the little voice inside Bam that had told him that having sex Ville was a bad idea, and now Bam realized it was right.
He'd fucked a guy, no wait, he'd made love to a guy, a guy that wasn't even human. He felt nasous, confused and panicked and it all began to get too much for him. He could hear Ville saying something to him but his voice sounded really far away and he couldn't focus on it. The walls seemed to be closing in around him and he was fighting for breath.
Turning on his heel, he fled, running down the stairs and out the front door. When he finally became tired enough to stop and take a look at his surroundings, he realized that he was standing right in front of Missy's house and she was currently walking down the road towards him. Great. Just great. He started walking again trying to pretend he hadn't just been standing outside his ex girlfriend's house like a loser.
"Bam? What were you doing?" Missy asked as she got closer to him.
"What do you mean?" Bam asked trying to look innocent.
"I mean what were you doing staring at my house?" Missy said, unimpressed by his best 'lost little boy' face.
"I wasn't staring." Bam said indignantly. "I was trying to work out where I was."
"You don't know where you are?" Missy's face changed from annoyance to concern. "Do you know who you are, or who I am?"
"Of course I do, I don't have amnesia, I was just running and wasn't paying attention to where I was going."
"ho were you running from?" Missy asked curiously, ignoring his obvious contempt for her.
"It's none of your business. You're the one who didn't want want to have anything to do with me, so why do you care?"
"I never said that Bam, you just assumed it. I like you and I'll always care for you, I just wasn't in love with you any more. We're just too different from each other, you like to pull pranks with your friends and live day to day and I want someone I can be serious with and talk about things like shakespeare and what's on the news. I really want us to be friends again."
"It didn't sound that way when you dumped me." Bam said bitterly.
"I know and I'm sorry. I shouldn't have spoken to you like that, being a pro skater isn't a stupid pipe dream. I believe that you can do it if you try, you're good enough to turn pro if you really want to."
It was obvious she was telling the truth as she'd always been a really bad liar and Bam smiled slightly at her, finding it hard to keep his resentment towards her when she was genuinely sorry.
"So what's wrong? It's not like you to run from anything."
"It's a long story and really weird. I'm so fucking confused." Bam groaned, sitting down on the sidewalk and laying his head in his hands.
"Come on, my parents won't be home til late, come in and tell me what's going on, I might be able to help even if it's just by listening to you talk it out." Bam thought it over for a moment before getting up and following her into the house. Ten minutes later and they were drinking sodas and chatting like they'd never been apart.
"Listen, I appreciate the offer but I don't think I should tell you what's been going on." Bam said awkwardly.
"Bam, I know pretty much all of your secrets and I've kept them all, so I'm not going to tell anyone this either. Besides, it's pretty obvious that you don't have anyone else to talk to about it."
Reluctantly admitting she was right, Bam took a deep breath before starting. "You remember the creepy note I got? Well they started stalking me, finding where I live and watching the house, leaving me flowers and more notes. Eventually they got hold of my cell phone number and started calling me as well."
"Oh my god, have you told the police?" Missy asked, shocked.
"I haven't told anyone apart from you and I'm not going to. I can't tell you why so don't ask me to. But his name's Ville and he's living with us."
"WHAT? ARE YOU CRAZY? YOU'RE LIVING WITH HIM?" Missy screeched.
"It's not like I had a choice. We needed a lodger and he knew, so when I was out he charmed Ape into letting him have the room, although I don't know why he has it cause most of the time he waits til I'm asleep then climbs into bed with me."
"Well I can see why you're confused, especially when you don't think you can tell anyone."
"Uh, that's not why I'm upset." Bam cofessed. "It's a little more complicated than that. Long story short; he forced me to have sex with him...."
"He raped you?" Missy interupted, her eyes blazing in anger.
" Yeah but he let me, ya know, so he was the one it hurt." Bam blushed, uncomfortable talking about it. Missy nodded in understanding and he continued.
"Anyway, after that he started treating me like I was his boyfriend, ya know cuddling me and cooking me dinner. Then I found out that when he was younger he'd had something really bad happen to him and it had driven him insane and I wanted to show him that his life didn't have to be full of pain so I...."
"What? What did you do?"
"I followed him into the shower today and uh...."
"Oh Bam, you didn't." Missy sighed. "So what happened afterwards?"
"I freaked out and ran, which is how I ended up here." Bam groaned, dropping his head into his hands again. "This is all so fucked up and I don't know what to do. I can't talk to him about it because when I try, all he says is that he loves me and I'm his so I shouldn't keep fighting it."
"I hate to say it but maybe he's right." Missy said softly.
"How the hell can he possibly be right?" Bam demanded horrified. "Did you even hear anything that I just said? For fucks sake, he beat up Knoxville because he thought he was into me."
"Well yeah, he is."
"What? He can't be. Are you kidding?"
"He's been fantasizing about you for nearly two years, everyone knows and we thought you did."
"Of course I didn't know." Bam yelled. "How the hell am I supposed to even look at him now?"
"I can't believe how homophobic you're being, especially for someone who just admitted to having sex with another guy, TWICE." Missy fumed.
"I'm not homophobic. I'm just freaked out and really confused." Bam looked close to tears and Missy's heart went out to him.
"Ok, first of all you need to continue your friendship with Johnny like nothing's changed. He hasn't done anything about his feelings yet and I don't think he ever will. Secondly, I know this is going to be difficult for you but I think you need to face the fact that you're in love with your stalker."
"I'm not in love with Ville." Bam said indignantly. "I'm not into men, how many times do I have to tell people this?"
"For goodness sake Bam, you can't honestly believe that you got into the shower and had sex with him just to make him feel better. A part of you must have wanted it and enjoyed it, otherwise no matter how bad you felt for him, you wouldn't have done it. It doesn't have to be a bad thing that he's male, you're just making it worse than it is by worrying and refusing to accept it."
Bam opened his mouth to deny the accusation but found that he couldn't do it. She was right.
"But isn't it weird that I'm falling for my stalker?"
"It's not conventional I'll admit." Missy grinned. "But then again, neither are you! You just need to explain to him that he can't hurt your friends again if he wants you to love him like he loves you."
"I can't be." Bam protested weakly once more.
"Well you are. So go home and deal with it instead of sitting here moping." Missy grabbed hold of his arm and started guiding him to the door. Sighing in resignation, Bam allowed himself to be led out of the house.
"Come and see me again once everything is sorted, I'd like to meet him." She smiled warmly at him before shutting the door on him, leaving him standing, stunned on her doorstep.

"Good. All I want is for you to be happy sweetheart." He picked up the plates and put them back in the dishwasher as he spoke. "I'm going to take a shower unless you need the bathroom first."

Great.
