"Can we please not fight?" Gerard spoke. He looked up at Ray. "Look Ray I'm sorry but you really do need to get help. I'll give you the number to my old therapist, I mean-"

"Shut up! I do not need help! Look, I stopped drinking!" Ray claimed. Mikey snorted and Gerard bit his lip. "NO REALLY! I did! Cold turkey! You can check my car!"

"Ray...please...can't you just go home? Please? Just leave me and my brother alone, ok?"

"Why? So you can fuck his brains out?!" Ray yelled.

Mikey smirked. "Maybe he will."

"Mikey!" Gerard snapped. Mikey giggled. "Ray, you're one of my best friends. You know that. But you have got to understand. I love Mikey and Mikey loves me. I want to be your friend still! But the drinking has GOT to STOP!"

Ray nodded. "I am not going to drink anymore. I promise. Really. I promise."

"Are you sure?" Mikey quirked and eyebrow.

"Yes."

"Positive?"

"MIKEY!"

"Ok I'll shut up."

"So are we all ok now? Ray are you gonna get help?" Gerard asked.

Ray nodded, "Yes. Really. Yes. Yes I will."

"Good." Gerard smiled.

"Can I kiss you now?" Mikey asked Gerard. Without waiting for an answer, Mikey pressed his lips to Gerard's. But only for a second.

He didn't want to get anything else started.

---EPILOGUE---

Gerard, Mikey, and Ray all ended up being friends again. Everything turned out to be ok. Ray signed up for therapy, and stopped the drinking once and for all. Gerard and Mikey stayed together, happily.

But it seems like Mikey is making a new friend. A friendly little girl named Alicia. A friendly little girl named Alicia that hangs around Mikey a LOT and is starting to pry Mikey away from Gerard...and Gerard is noticing.

All Mikey talks about is Alicia and Gerard is starting to wonder who Mikey really loves - him or Alicia...
