Disenchanted
The calm before the storm
Chad wandered out of the backroom, the sun was shining in. He looked at Brandi's bunk, still made, the curtain wide open. He sighed. "She's alive, don't worry." He looked up at John. He was sipping coffee, looking out the window. "Where is she?" Chad grabbed a cup, sitting down. "She's talking to someone." Chad sighed. That could mean a lot of things. "Did she even come in last night?" John smiled. "Yeah, told me she wasn't going to sleep here." Chad felt a pain in his stomach and it wasn't a hunger or sickness pain. He felt like being sick. He stepped outside, John following him closely. Chad sat on the ground, looking out around the area. Brandi was walking back with Gerard. She was laughing, Gerard almost tripped and fell. Chad felt like dying right there. But instead, he walked back onto the bus and hid in the back room again. Brandi and Gerard approached John, Brandi tossing him a pack of smokes. "Why'd Chad go inside?" John shrugged. "He's an emotional case right now." Brandi sighed. "I don't know if I want to talk to him." John nodded. "Understandable." Gerard poked her, making her giggle. "Maybe you should though." Brandi sighed, looking at Gerard. "Fine." She turned and entered the bus. She looked around, not seeing Chad. "You want something?" She looked at his bunk. He was grabbing something's out of it, his ipod. Brandi nodded. "Yeah. I want to talk to you." Chad shrugged, pissing her off. She walked up, grabbing his hand and pulling him up, pushing him into the back room. "I don't want this shit to get into between us and our band." Chad pushed back. "I wasn't planning on it, but it seems like your making it that way." Brandi sighed heavily. Chad sat down, grabbing her hand and pulling her down. "I still love you." Brandi stared at him. "Holy shit. If you didn't I'd hate you." Chad stared. "You broke up with me, boy wonder." Chad nodded. He leaned in to kiss her, but she put her hand up, pushing him back. "You have to earn that back. And you'll get it back if you're lucky." Chad sighed. "What, are you dating Gerard now?" Brandi shook her head, giggling. Chad glanced at her accusingly. "Nope. But you'll be the first to know if I do." Chad groaned. "Brandi, you're such a bitch sometimes." John walked in laughing. "You got one thing right there Chad."
