Disclaimer:
This is a work of fiction. I do not know Kelly Clarkson. I do not make any money from the writing of this story.
See You Again
ok, classic, is this a case of "you show me yours, I'll show you mine?" LOL. 'Cause clearly you win. I so gotta know what happens in yours, so here you go. Hope you enjoy. And the next chapter should be making up for this one being a tad short and without a lot of action. And I don't mean it like that, btw. lol :)

Carrie and Kelly were having another of their clandestine meetings. Not that they considered it sneaking around, but it was fun to have something between them that no one else shared. Well, other than Ashley. They didn't mind that seeing as she was the reason they got together as quickly as they did. Eventually, they would've figured out what was clear to those who paid close attention.
"Hey," Kelly whispered as she let Carrie into the house.
"Hey. Is the coast clear?" the blonde smiled brightly.
Kelly winked before placing her hands on the blonde's waist and puller her towards her. Carrie caught herself as she kissed her.
"So," Carrie tried to catch her breath. "Hi."
Kelly blushed slightly. "Hi. Come in," she took her hand and guided her upstairs to her bedroom.
Carrie followed along. "So, you get right to the point, huh?" She pointed towards the bed.
Kelly shoved her playfully. "Shut up. No. I just wanted the privacy of my room."
"Kel, it's your house and you're sneaking around?" Carrie smiled teasingly.
"Well, no. I mean, I'm just not ready to answer that question..." she looked nervously at the blonde.
"And what question is that?" Carrie gave her a sideways glance.
"Oh, you know, why's Carrie in your bed at 2am?"
Carrie laughed. "Hmm, good point. But if you had to answer it, what would that be?"
"Oh, easy. 'Cause she's pretty dang hot and I can't keep my lips and hands off of her. How's that?"
Kelly's sly smiled completely caught the blode by surprise. "Uhhh...." she blushed.
"See," Kelly gently caressed her cheek. "Just us...for now."
"I can live with that," Carrie whispered, inching closer. She walked straight to Kelly, never breaking eye contact. She pushed the Texan's hair away from her eyes before putting her hand behind her neck and crashing into her lips. Up until know, their kisses had been playful and fairly innocent. This time, there was just something about the way that Carrie took charge that made them both realize how intense things were getting between them.
Carrie moved from Kelly's lips and started kissing her way down her neck. Kelly's knees hit the bed. She stop and instinctively sat, their lips never breaking apart. Carie gently guided her onto the bed, leaning into her and ending up on top of her.
A small moan escaped from Kelly's lips. "Care..."
Carrie quickly came back to reality and pulled back. "I'm sorry..." she blushed as she put her hand on either side of Kelly, holding herself up.
"Don't be sorry," Kelly smiled reassuringly at the tentative hazel eyes looking intently into her own.
"Ok," there was hesitation in Carrie's voice.
"Trust me. There's nothing to be sorry about. I just...."
"I know," Carrie backed away from the Texan. She moved next to her ask Kelly sat up.
"I'm not sure I'm ready for that. Well, certain parts of me definitely are..." she looked away blushing. Her heart was racing and her lips were swollen and tingly.
"It's ok," Carrie moved her hand from Kelly's cheek to her jaw turning her face so she could see the girl's eyes.
"Is it?" Kelly seemed unconvinced.
"Yes. I agree with you, actually. I mean, when I'm not totally caught up in the moment. Other times, it's just kind of impossible to think."
"I know. Trust me."
"So," Carrie wrapped her arm around the girl who shivered at the simple gesture. "How about we just enjoy this time before I have to leave..." Her face fell. She had gotten really attached to the girl next to her, and not being able to see her for over 2 weeks was going to be a tough proposition.
"Aww," Kelly noticed the change in demeanor so she pulled her in for a brief peck. "We'll be ok, you know. And it's not, like, that long. I'll be there in, like, 16 days!"
Kelly's excited tone served to cheer her up. "How is it that you know exactly what to say?"
Kelly grinned. "Well, I talk alot...eventually something I say will be right." She moved from the foot of the bed.
"Where ya going?"
"Um, hold on," Kelly said walking into her closet. A few seconds later, she walked out, holding a small blue box in her hand. "I got you something..." she trailed as she handed it to the blonde
"What? That's silly. It's not my birthday or Christmas," Carrie protested.
"I know," the Texan waved her hand. "I just wanted to get you small going away present. Open it."
Carrie carefully put the box on her lap and took the top off. She looked inside and started laughing. "Aw, Kel, Designing Women?"
"Well, I love the show so much that my brother was able to get them for me on DVD, even though they've never been officially relased. Anyway, I figure it'll give us something to do together while you're away."
"Aw," Carrie was completely taken aback. "You're so cute."
"Why?" Kelly blushed.
"'Cause...it just is! " Carrie put the box next to her and stood face to face. She leaned forward and captured the pleased girls lips with hers.
Kelly sighed as they pulled apart. "Well, go me!"
"Yes, definitely go you...and I'll remember this, you know."
"Aww," Kelly pulled her into a hug. "So, you wanna cuddle and watch a couple episodes?"
"You read my mind..."
Kelly sat up in her bed, leaning against the headboard. Carrie joined her, cuddling against her. She rested her head on the Texan's shoulder.
"Wait," she looked up at her. "Don't you have to set it up?"
Kelly smiled knowingly. "Nope. It's all ready," she replied as she reached for the remote sitting on her nightstand.
She leaned back and got confortable and Carrie snuggled deeper into her chest.
"This is comfy," the blonde marveled.
"Hmm, yes..."
After the second episode ended, Carrie reached for her cell phone in her pocket to look at the time. "3:57am."
"Boo," Carrie whined as she sat up. "I've gotta get going?"
"Already," was Kelly's crestfallen response as she followed her lead.
"I wish I didn't have to, but my flight leaves at 7am, so...I kind of have to get home."
Carrie stood and walked over to get her purse from the chair next to the door. She looked at Kelly's sad eyes. "Well, I guess this is it..."
Kelly walked slowly up to her. "Yep. For sixteen whole days...BUT I promise to call you as soon as I land. And feel free to call me whenever you've got a chance."
"I will," Carrie reached for her. "I promise."
Kelly wrapped her hands around the blonde's waist. "I'm really gonna miss you, but here...let me give you something to remember me by..." she whispered as she captured her lips in a searing kiss. Carrie's breath caught in her throat. She gently moaned into the kiss as she wrapped her hands tighter around the Texan.
After a few long moments, they finally pulled apart gasping for air.
"Ok, so," Kelly brushed her thumb gently over Carrie's bottom lip. "Have a safe flight!"
"I will," Carrie beamed.
