Nevermore
Title: Nevermore – Chapter 1
Author: Sparkleblsmchyld
Type: RP Het and Gen
Rating: R – for violent situations and some sexual situations.
Pairing: The Backstreet Boys and suggested OFC.
Warning: Serious amounts of AU and some fluff mixed in when the chapters calm. This is really the crack-fic out of all my fics.
Disclaimer: Not mine, probably never happened, never will. Too much sugar and music will do this to your thoughts kids! All ideas are result of my overactive imagination!
Archive: AFF. If you want, just ask. I'd be flattered.
Feedback: Have something you’ve just got to tell me? Please do, feedback is great.
Timeline: The Millenium tour.
Notes: Okay, this was very early in my writing career. I was a high-school boy-band freak with an insatiable love of the bizarre, creepy and down-right X-Files-ish. Excuse themal mal cliches and writing boo-boos. Just enjoy the story as it is.
Summary: Be careful just whom in your path you anger, your retribution may be swift and silent. The Backstreet Boys didn’t learn this lesson and now they have to pay.
Fiona lost her friend Eve after she became pregnant and died with child. She has the supernatural dark powers on her side and they will aide her in teaching Eve's killers a lesson.

“Eve, what’s wrong?” Fiona asked seeing her friend in a ball on the bed, crying; the sobs wracking her body. She takes her pale face in her hand and forces Eve to look at her, her pale, skin felt icy against her palm and her once beautiful green eyes looked demonic with the red now surrounding them. “You know what’s wrong, those bastards did this and now they are living a fine life and here my sorry ass is!!!! They won’t even admit to this, and now look at me!” Fiona looked deeply into her friends’ eyes and saw the pain; she backed off of the bed and wrapped the heavy blankets around Eve’s shivering body, trying to keep her comfortable, even though it was now impossible. She sat down in a chair by her bedside and sang her a lullaby.
“My baby, don’t cry…don’t fear to die…if you leave me don’t be sad…because here I will be feeling glad…knowing you hurt no more…the pain you now feel shall be no more…”
Fiona stayed with Eve the entire night, her sleep constantly interrupted by nightmares, nightmares of demons stealing Eve away and pulling her down to the far reaches of hell and Fiona left at the top, both able to see each other but unable to help.
The next morning Fiona woke up with a start hearing her alarm, she looked up at her friend who had a smile on her face, her red hair covering her face slightly. She went and brushed it away, feeling her icy cold to the touch, feeling that all the blood drained from Fiona’s face, she leaned closer to her, listening for any breathing, but she heard none.
Later that day, the coroner shows up, declaring the official time of death as 2:15 that morning. Fiona sat in shock as she saw a sheet pulled over the face of her best friend and she was wheeled out of the apartment and take her her final destination.
Two days passed and Fiona dressed for Eve’s funeral, it was being held at the gravesite, they couldn’t afford a church. Fiona looked in the mirror at her pale complexion, which reminded her so much of Eve.
“Daughters of Christ, take comfort in that God’s arms Eve Maria Lynn has found comfort, but let us also remember her unborn son, Aaron Robert who, with his mother, went to Heaven above.”
Tears flowed freely down Fiona’s face as she remembered what Eve had told her, how she had been hurt and how her body could not support her and her unborn child, and therefore shutdown. She swallowed hard as she watched all of the other girls leave. The priest came over and offered her a condolence but then went on his way; afterwards she cautiously walked over to the coffin adorned with white lilies and roses. “Eve,” she whispered leaning down to the coffin, “I remember what you asked of me and have faith in me that you’re death shall not go unnoticed by those who rebuffed you. They too shall suffer.” Fiona placed a gentle kiss on the coffin and slowly walked away humming…
“My baby don’t cry…take comfort and sigh…
Your death unfair…by those caused had no care…
Be happy not sour…for they shall fear their hour…
All alone they shall feel…with what you had to deal…”
