*~ Chapter One ~*
It was a very very cold night, due to it being Winter, the roads were very icy, a woman was walking home from a party, reason she left? She felt like an outsider, she wasn't good at talking to people, she always felt ugly and broken inside. But it is not what others see in her, others thought she was beauitiful, she had medium brown shiny hair that was straight, and beautiful dark green eyes that twinkled.
The woman started to shiver, yep it was getting colder, more snow started to fall and now it was hard to see, the wind started to howl, the woman had to hold her skirt down to be careful not to reveal anything. She came to the edge of the road and walked across but as soon as she stepped onto the pavement she slipped on the ice "Great!" she mumbled "Just great!" she said again
Suddenly she could see someone, a man, the man came towards her and helped her to her feet "Are you ok?" he asked
"I'm fine" she mumbled embarassed
"Perhaps I should take you home and help with that cut"
"What cut?" she asked
The man smiled "It's ok, it's not that bad" the man helped her keep her balance by holding onto her "I'm Gerard Butler by the way but you can call me Gerry" the man said softly
"I'm Vicki, but you can call me Vic, and I know who you are, I admire you grately"
"Thanks" Gerard said smiling
"This is me" Vicki said pointing to her house
