Part1 “Introduction”

Kaoru stood in front of the mirror readjusting his clothes and hair for the 100th time, knowing he was coming to finally meet *him* tonight. Kaoru gave a small smile thinking back to how it had all started.

He had known who Yukihiro was, I mean how could anyone live in Japan and not know who L’arc-en-Ciel was. Well unless you didn’t own a t.v. or a radio maybe. But he never really paid attention to them. Sure he liked some of their music and they were all pretty good looking, especially their drummer, but that was about it. Then Acid Android came out and he saw and heard a whole new side of this once quiet drummer. A side he found very interesting. He even went to a Acid Android live and this is what provoked his attraction to this beautiful man. He wanted to know him more.

Through a friend he had found out Yukihiro’s online name and his usually hang out on the web. And he found Yuki in one of his regular chat room. They talked ideally on there for awhile just bullshitting. Then began to talk through e-mails and the messenger. The more he found out about Yuki, the more he was falling for him.

Be involved with men wasn’t anything new to him. He used to date Shinya in their La Sadies days. They had dated for a while but then decided they were better off just as friends. Later on in their Dir en Grey days Shinya started dating Toshiya, which was fine with him. Kyo and Die had spend a couple of years fighting and skipping around each other, trying to deny their feeling for one another. Then fucking every chance they got behind any closed door. Until finally they had decided to be together. And this left Kaoru the only one alone.

So he wasn’t sure what made him so emotionally attached to Yukihiro, if it was out of loneliness or love, or maybe a little of both. He found it kind of funny how he would run home from practice just to see if Yuki had e-mailed him. And how when he was chatting with Yuki on the messenger, he found himself giggling and feeling all bubbly inside like a young school girl.

He never told Yuki who he really was, maybe out of shyness, or maybe because he wasn’t sure how Yuki would react, he didn’t know. Only giving his last name as his first, so Yuki only knew him as Niikura. But then Dir en Grey was to appear on music station and L’arc-en-Ciel was also supposed to be there for their new single. And he decided it was probably about time they met in person.

He informed Yuki that he would be at the upcoming music station. Yuki seemed to be excited that they would finally meet. And when Yuki asked him how he would recognize him. He told him, he had blondish-brown hair about shoulder length and would be wearing a suit with a violet rose pinned to it. And this leads us to now. Kaoru looked nervously at himself in the mirror. Knowing tonight he would meet the man he spent so much time thinking about lately. Finally with a sigh he picked up his things and headed out.
