"I think you should hook up with your brother Ger bear."

She had always called me "Ger Bear". Even though she knew she wasn't pronouncing Ger correctly. She didn't care, neither did I.

"That's not funny anymore."

"God. Stuffs funny to you for like two minutes and then you take it all so seriously. Fine. I pick.....Chelsea. Yeah, she has cooler hair."

"Pick on personality."

"Neither. They are both sluts. Chelsea has that purple hair. Sara's hair is blonde and drab but..and this is a big but...Chelsea's hair is purple."

I rolled my eyes while placing a stern hand on my hip.

"You have pink and black hair. You don't see me jumping on you."

"Pink and black isn't purple."

"If you like purple hair so much why don't you dye you hair that?"

"Because it won't go with my complexion."

"White?? You are glow in the dark white. White goes with everything."

"That's the real reason why you aren't jumping on me at this very instant. I am white. You want tan babies. After all these years of knowing you it turns out I didn't really KNOW you, you racist! You were never really there. You should put that in a song."

"No, I'd rather YOU shove it up your ass, Kat."

"When did you get kinky?"

Kat laid beside me under the old oak tree. Her hand reached up towards the blue sky and began waving, slowly, as if she were trying to catch a cloud. All those childhood problems disappeared when she was near me. All those stressful nights I spent worrying about the math test went away...

"What do you think you made on the math test Ger bear?"

...and came back so suddenly.

I sighed unsure what to answer. If I told her what I honestly thought she'd fight back saying "Nuh-uh, you always get good grades in math." And if I told her what she believed was the truth I'd be lying. I shrugged

"Lucky you. I've been worrying about it for days. I failed. I know it. Ms. Woodbury is out to get me. Everyone knows it."

I chuckled and threw a piece of grass that I had recently picked at her. It floated on air for only a second before falling, a long distance away from it's target.

"Wow, you should join the baseball team or something. With those skills, it's a crime you aren't a Greyhound. 'Cause you know, anorexic looking dogs instill fear in their opponents."

I watched her as she plopped down after her emotional outpour and flaring arm filled rant. She laughed and then looked up towards me. Her face slowly moved closer and closer to mine. Her smile faded and as she went deep in thought. Then she raised her right arm up and smacked it playfully against my shoulder.

"Oh, I am so sorry Sir! It was an arm spasm!"

I held all myself up by both my arms that were now at either side of here. I was carefully not to place any of my weight on her, terrified that it might hurt her. She wasn't skinny but she wasn't fat like me either. She was just voluptuous which is sexier than the other two options if you ask me.

My lips were so close to hers that I could feel her warm breath sink into them. My teeth bit into the inside skin of my bottom lip. She raised her hand. This time to stroke a stray hair away. Her fingers skidded across my face. When she reached my ear and placed the hair behind it, she worked her way down to my neck. She tickled it lightly as if letting me know it was ok for me to make the next move. I couldn't.

"You wanna go play some D&D??"

"You are such a loser."
