~*~ Ch 1: Jesse’s Girl ~ *~

Jesse had Min’s hand in his as he weaved his way through the party at Drex’s house. The place was packed with people dancing, getting high, drinking, you name it they were doing it. They found Drex & his gf- Ava, who was also a friend of Min’s.
“ Hey Drex, what’s happenin’?” Jesse asked.
“Hey JMac, just havin‘ a party, how’s it goin’?” Drex Holland asked.
“Good, real good.”
“You guys know where everything is right?” Ava Singer asked.
“Yup,” Min said nodding her head. She had started dating Jesse nine months ago after moving in next door to him, she was adopted and her dad bought her perfect little angel act so she got away with everything.
“Good, be sure to have a good time now,” Ava said.
“Oh we will,” Jesse said with a laugh as he took Min’s hand again and then crossed the room to where one of his friends- Devon Maple stood with- Brian Garrison, Audrey Hill, Chase Landgraf and Katie Cassidy- Jesse’s ex-gf. “ Hey Bri,Dev, Audrey, what’s up?” he asked, choosing not to acknowledge Katie, she had been getting on his nerves and pissing him off since their break up.
“Hey Jmac, how ya doin’?” Devon asked he took a drag from the joint in his hand.
“Good man. Looks like everyone here is having a good time.”
Brian laughed,” You can say that again.”
“All our parties are like this,” Audrey said in a bored tone.
Jesse laughed,” That’s true too.”
“So what no hello for me?” Katie asked.
Jesse turned to look at her,” Hello,” he said with no emotion in his voice and turned away from her again.
“Hey J, here’s a little something I’m sure you could use tonight,” Devon said passing Jesse a bag of already rolled joints, ready to be smoked.
“Thanks D,” Jesse said w/a grin as he took the bag, then he looked at Min.” You wanna light up babe?” he asked.
“Uh actually could I wait til after nine to do that, cause I have to call my dad he thinks I’m at Ava’s house for the night,” Min said quietly.
“Sure no prob, I’ll wait til then too,” he told her as he put it in his pocket.
Katie snickered,” Are you sure she’s sixteen Double Shot?” she asked,” She hasta call home to Daddy.”
Jesse glared at Katie,” Yes I’m sure she’s sixteen. Leave her the fuck alone Katie,” he said annoyed,” I don’t what your problem is,” he said, he took Min’s hand again,” Come on let’s go get something to drink,” he said leading her away from the group and heading to the kitchen.
Min followed him to the kitchen, she really hated Katie, that girl was always finding a reason to make her miserable. “Could we maybe find a room and hang out in there to get away from the Blond Piranha?” she asked.
Jesse grabbed a couple bottle of beer,” Sure,” he said w/a smile,” come on.” He led her through the house towards some of the bedrooms. Finding one that was empty he pushed it open and led her in, shutting the door behind them. He held the bottle of beer out to her,” here ya go babe.”
“Thanks,” she said taking it, and opening it. She took a sip from the bottle of the miller draft beer.
“You’re welcome,” Jesse said and opened his own bottle taking a long swig of the cool beer. It tasted good going down his throat.
