Family
AN: This story is about the search for a home and a family. Will be a short first chapter.
The story is centered on Nine year old Lucas (Luke) Walker.
It seemed like the day couldn't get any worse, Luke was busy constantly being interviewed by potential parents. He always seemed to find something wrong with them. When Mrs. Callahan called him into her office for yet another interview he felt like screaming.
"Luke, I'd like you to meet Mr. and Mrs. Orton." Luke rolled his eyes and turned to the Orton's. "Pleased to meet you." He said politely. "Luke please call me Kat." The lady said. "And I'm Randy." The man said. Luke's eyes grew huge when he realized who the man was. "You're...you're THE Randy Orton!" He exclaimed. Randy laughed and shook the little boy's hand. "Yep, I'm Randy Orton the wrestler." "You're my favorite wrestler! Well, other than John Cena." "Did you know that John Cena is my best friend?" Randy asked. "Really? That's so cool!" Luke exclaimed.
After several days together, Randy and Kat were certain that Luke was the child they wanted, and asked Mrs. Callahan to start the paperwork.
When Luke moved into the Orton home with their other three children, Kat smiled and hugged her husband. "We finally completed our family." She said and kissed his cheek. "That we did." Randy said and pulled her to him.
