opposites attract
hi, so this is my new story and i hope everyone enjoys it. I'm really nervous about it but my lovely sweet karin has faith in me so i'm posting it at her insistance. This is a really short chapter just to introduce you to it. Please review and let me know what you think.
Bam Margera and Ville Valo were two very different people. Ville was the quiet goth guy who was never noticed except by the bullies who teased him mercilessly about his beautiful feminine looks, lack of money and unintrest in sports. He only had four close friends and he prefered it that way. Bam on the other hand, was the life and soul of the party, one of the most popular kids in the school with a huge group of friends that looked up to him. He was also the youngest child of the richest family in WestChester.
Sometimes, however, two lives are supposed to cross. Call it fate, call it whatever you want, but it happened to Ville and Bam in a way that neither of them were expecting. Here's the story.
"Bam, get up. Your father and I need to talk to you." His mothers voice called up the stairs and Bam groaned in frustration. Getting out of bed, he stumbled down the stairs and into the lounge.
"Fucks sake, it's 9am on sunday morning. Why the hell am I awake?"
Ape ignored her sons dramatics and carried on with what she wanted to say. "We've decided that, because both of us are working so much and working away a lot of the time, we need to get a maid. Whoever we get will be living here so we were wondering if you wanted to help us do the interviews."
"That's the reason you woke me up? Hell no. As long as they leave my room alone, I don't care. I'm going skating, see you later." He grabbed his favourite board and skated the short distance to the park where he hung out with all his friends.
When he got there he wasn't suprised to find none of his friends were there considering most of them never rose before noon so he spent a couple of hours working up a sweat on the half pipe. He loved skating because it gave him a sense of being free, defying gravity with some of his stunts and besides that, it was something he was actually good at.
He started down the ramp, his balance perfect, but a small lapse in concentration caused him to bail, landing painfully on his ass. Typically his friends chose that moment to show up, laughing and joking at his fall.
"Way to go millionare! Didn't anyone ever tell you that you're supposed to stay on the board?!"
"Ha fucking ha. It's the first time I've bailed in two hours while I've been waiting for you dumbasses to show up. Ape and Phil are interviewing maids today and I didn't feel like pretending I gave a toss."
The group of friends walked over to starbucks, grabbing drinks and sitting on the curb outside the shop while Bam continued to brood about having a maid living in his house.
"C'mon dude it won't be that bad, at least you won't have to do chores any more and besides, she might be hot."
"How would that matter to me? I'm gay."
"How could you not remember that?!" Johnny laughed. "We found that out when we walked in on him making out with his brothers friend, Chad!"
"Seriously?!" Dico laughed. "You and Chad? Isn't he a senior in college?"
"Yeah, we only kissed though, it wasn't anything serious and Jess doesn't know so don't tell him or he'll kill me!"
His friends all agreed not to tell although Bam had doubts that Knoxville would be able to keep the propmise. He skated home after a few more hours of hanging out doing nothing with his friends.
"Hey Ape, hey Phil." He greeted his parents. "Find anyone?"
"Actually we did. Her name is Anita, she's Finish and she has a son your age so you'll have someone to talk to when you're at home."
"She wants to bring her son along? You told her no, right?" Bam asked hopefully.
""Don't be silly, of course we didn't. They move in friday afternoon."
Bam could only stare at his parents in horror.

Ville had had a shitty day. His father had left them the week before, taking all their money and nobody knew where he was. Ville wasn't exactly upset about it as he and his father had never been close, especially after Ville had admitted that boys turned him on more than girls. His mother, on the other hand, was devestated and trying to console her that morning led him to be late which landed him in detention. The jocks stole his homework, he flunked his algebra test and he'd managed to lose his favourite Black Sabbath cd.
He walked out of the school grounds after a long, boring detention with the worst teacher in the school and down the road towards his house, singing softly to himself in an attempt to distract himself from the fact that he was going to have to walk past the group of footballers standing on the side of the road.
For a brief moment he thought they were going to ignore him but then a voice rang out. "Oi faggot, are you trying to talk to us?"
Ville was confused, not to mention scared but he tried to keep his voice even as he replied. "No, I didn't say anything."
"Liar. I saw your lips moving. What were you saying?" The thug demanded angrily
"I was singing." Ville protested.
"The group burst out laughing, mocking Ville as he blushed at his admittance. "You were singing to yourself? What a freak. A fag and a freak in one!"
"Yeah he looks like a chick too!" another of the group laughed.
They smirked at each other and started advancing on him. Ville knew this part all too well. This was always the part where he got beaten to a bloody pulp. He sent a quick prayer to any deity that would listen, begging to be able to get away, then took off running, not caring who he pushed out the way in his desperate bid to make it home with all his limbs attached.
He heard annoyed voices as he bumped into faceless people as he ran past them, his heart pounding with fear, but he didn't stop to apologize. He knew that even one second of stalling could result in him being badly beaten again and he knew how much it upset his mother, he hated to see her eyes fill with sympathetic tears every time she saw his bloody and bruised face after a run in with the jocks.
He sped round the corner onto his road, almost falling over in his haste, and jumped over the small fence to his house. He crouched on the ground fearfully listening as the boys walked past trying to find him, not relaxing until he heard them eventually give up and walk away.
He breathed a sigh of relief and let himself into the house, his mood imediately brightening. He'd gotten away from the bullies unharmed, the smell of cooking hung in the air and his mum was home. He and his mother had always been very close and they were even closer now that his dad had left and his brother was away training to be a boxer.
"Ville sweetie, is that you? I made some of your favourite cookies today."
He walked into the kitchen and gave his mum a kiss on the cheek. "Hey mum, are you ok?"
"Of course sweetie, I got a job today."
Ville grinned at her. Maybe today wouldn't be so bad after all. "Really, where? When do you start?"
"I'm going to be a live in maid for the Margera family. They have a son about your age who goes to your school, I think they said his name is Bam. Anyway, we move in friday afternoon."
Ville's face fell. This was the worst day EVER.
