Teardrop In The Fire

When you believe that you know someone, tables may turn. When you feel that you are the one safeguarding them, perhaps, it may just be the other way around. The question is, when the actuality of the matter surfaces, will the misconstructions ultimately indemnify the aftermath?


Main Characters:

Brandon Boyd-Lead vocalist and main lyricist of the band, Incubus, as well as Claire’s most trusted companion.
The perpetually vigilant Brandon has shoes no one else can fill. He’s a Sensational conversationalist, and usually the voice of reason, that having the most common sense amongst them all. Everywhere he happens to go ladies flock to him. This is something he is use to but is only interested in finding the one who will complete him.
Unlucky love isn’t the half of it, when he deals with Marissa Howard. He hopes that somehow this one will work out right, until she decides to commit suicide. Brandon soon begins to question his entire life and what he holds important to him after his world is altered and a set of unimaginable chain reactions soon follow...

Claire Kilmore- Nothing bad can be said about 'Cupcake Kilmore'. She is a typically good natured woman; a light drinker who has a strong no-drug policy. She comes from a virtuous family,who adopted her brother Chris during her early pre-teen years. Claire was always an 'A' student throughout high school and recently graduated from UCLA with a 3.76 GPA and a Bachelors degree in Social Justice. Her laid-back, free-minded spirit has always been a breath of fresh air to her peers, brother and best Friend Brandon Boyd.
She has no interest in the entertainment industry and currently works on finishing her masters degree. At some point her past and her future reconnect forcing her to ask herself why she continues to run from a past she cannot escape?


Chris Kilmore-Soft-spoken Chris otherwise known as Dj Kilmore has always stayed just below the radar in most conversations. He is usually very chill, until things begin to change with his younger sister whom he holds dearly. Though he has endured a lot before being taken in by the Kilmore's, he is most grateful and is very family oriented.

Mike Einziger- Einziger, has known Brandon from his adolescent years. No matter what Brandon does Mike will always have his back. They're like brothers.


Michael Tamburello-A fairly renowned actor in primetime television. Upon meeting Claire almost a year ago, he looked on her as yet another conquest and token piece to add to his collection, but the more time he spent with her the deeper his feelings grew. Michael has always been a bit of a loose cannon, and it's that wild-card behavior makes him Hazardous. This guy may ultimately become her downfall.
