Chapter One


“I love you, too.” those four little words were all Gerard needed to hear. He smiled and lay his head on Mikey’s shoulder, wrapping one arm around him while the other played with his hair. Mikey laced his fingers in with Gerard’s, kissing his forehead and closing his eyes. It was 5 o’ clock in the morning. The two Way brothers had just gotten together, just as they wanted.

All his life, Gerard had been in love with Mikey, in a way no older brother should love his little brother. He dwelled on the fact he would “never have Mikey” and he knew now that he had him, nothing would make him sad.

Gerard scooted even closer to Mikey and kissed his neck softly. He loved how smooth and soft Mikey’s skin was. Mikey let his hand leave Gerard’s hand and travel to his brother’s back, rubbing lightly.

I can’t believe this is happening… I’m so happy right now… I finally have Mikey. Gerard thought. He nipped lightly and Mikey’s neck, pulling a soft whimper from his lips. Gerard then let one of his hands roam Mikey’s body, over his bony ribs, down his stomach, to his thighs… then he slipped one hand under Mikey’s jeans and boxers, rubbing him gently.

Mikey moaned softly, arching his back the slightest bit. “Oh Gerard…” he whispered. They couldn’t be too loud. Neither of them could imagine how shocked the others would be if they happened to hear the Way brothers’ affair. No, not an affair… their love for each other.
Anyway, Gerard loved the way Mikey dug his nails deep into his back, through his shirt, when he picked up the pace on his rubbing. Mikey moaned a little louder but not too loud. “Fuck, Gerard… oh…” he moaned.

Suddenly the door swung open. The brothers stopped showing affection for each other and tried to hide the fact that they had been, but they were too late. Gerard was being jerked off of Mikey. The person that was doing this was Frank Iero, Mikey’s ex boyfriend.

Frank began punching Gerard in the face. “You fucking faggot! I thought you were my best friend!” he yelled. “Frank! Stop!” Mikey snapped. He ripped Frank off of his brother. “What the fuck do you think you’re doing?” he growled. “I’m teaching this faggot a lesson!” Frank said. “Well you need to stop.” Mikey stated. Frank started to tear up, “You mean… you don’t love me anymore?” he asked. Mikey shook his head, “I love Gerard, only Gerard.”

“Gee? Gee? Are you gonna get up?” Gerard opened his eyes to see Bert waking him up. No Mikey. No Frank. No nothing. His eyes filled with tears and sadness. “Gerard, are you okay?” he looked over to Bert, blinking back his tears. Bert was right next to him. He had no shirt on. Gerard remembered then - he was dating Bert now.

“Um yeah I’m fine.” Gerard said quickly. “Uh… where’s my shirt?” he asked, changing the subject. “It’s in the corner.” Bert replied. Gerard started to get up, when Bert grabbed his arm. “Bert I have to-” “Stay with me. Please?” Bert begged. He looked a little lonely. Gerard nodded and lay back down.

Bert cuddled up to him like Gerard had cuddled up to Mikey in his dream. “I love you.” Bert said. Gerard blinked back more tears, “I love you, too.”
