This Girl I Met
Title: This Girl I Met.
Author: Me.
Pairing: Christian Kane/OC.
............................................................
"I wanna tell you about this girl I met,
skittish little thing, embarrassed as hell,
but she couldn't help but smile."
*I wrote that, spank you very much*
............................................................
NOTE: I had the idea to write this BEFORE I went to Christian's show in Portland, but the particular idea I had for it didn't happen until AFTER I got home. The OC meets Christian at the show, they have a moment, then part. Presumably to never see each other again. Then he sees her a year later, finding out she's been cast as Eliot's love interest.
............................................................
Cloie cursed six ways to sunday as she crossed the parking lot of Dante's. It wasn't like she planned for her ID to disappear. She ran a hand through her dark hair, not seeing who she bumped into until they both turned around.
"I am so..." Her apology dropped off when it registered who she was looking at.
Her eyes widened a bit. It was the man she had come to Dante's to see. Christian Kane.
"Sorry..." She finished lamely.
Christian chuckled, "It's okay. Looks like we were both having problems."
Cloie couldn't help but look at the man with a raised brow. Christian having problems? She snorted mentally.
"Sounds accurate," She chuckled.
Christian cocked his head.
"What happened to you?" He asked.
Cloie groaned and leaned on the fence around the garbage.
"My damn driver's liscence was stolen," She said truthfully.
Christian cringed. Cloie chuckled softly. Both ran a hand through their hair at the same time. When they looked up at each other, their hands were still in their hair. They both chuckled and dropped their hands. Christian had an idea, but he didn't say anything...yet. He stepped back a bit and took a good look at her. Tiny feet in black heels. Long, pale, smooth legs. A curvy little body in a tight black dress. But when he finally made it to her face, she was looking VERY amused at him. She chuckled and shook her head, black curls falling free. Christian didn't know why he did it, but he reached and pulled her hair out of it's high ponytail. He left the hair thing around his wrist while he fluffed her hair out. Cloie almost moaned when his hands went into her hair. They both jumped when they heard a noise coming around the corner, so Christian pulled her back behind the cars.
Cloie took a moment to assess the situation. She was in a dark corner with Christian Kane, her body between his and a wall, sufficiently hidden so nobody could see unless they were actively trying to. Check, check, and check. She could practically feel Christian breathing down her neck. She looked up to see him watching her and they both chuckled, but neither made a move to break the contact. Christian found himself staring at tempting cherry red lips, while Cloie couldn't help watching his blue eyes darken. Both groaned when Christian finally did something and kissed Cloie. It was tentative, like Christian was waiting for some sort of confirmation from Cloie, but he sure got it when Cloie leaned in to the kiss, readily responding. Christian pressed Cloie back into the wall, the couple out of eye sight of everyone. Cloie's arms wrapped around Christian's neck, his hands still in her hair.
They reluctantly parted. Christian stepped back, running a hand through his hair.
"You coming to the show?" He asked, sounding the tiniest bit lame after what just happened.
She chuckled and nodded, "If my sister remembered to bring..."
And before she could finish, as if on cue, her sister came calling for her. She went to walk to her sister, but Christian pulled her back for a second, kissed her and told her that he'd see her inside. Cloie smiled at him as they walked away from each other.
