Cold Heart
Beauty under the blood:
First chapter:
Cold heart
"Sure guys, i'll be right there in a moment." Mike said and closed his cell phone. But he didn't get to put it inside his pocket. Something made him suddenly stop and sound of his cell phone cracking on the floor was the only thing that was heard.
*****
The yellow tape across the toilet's door made curious strangers come closer. Inside there were two guys, one taking photos and the other collecting evidences. Mike was sitting with a police officer only a few feets from the crime scene and he couldn't help but notice the young woman that passed by him. She was tall and elegant, with honey blonde hair. Her long and soft curls layed down until her chest.
"Hi Fred!" She greeted one of the guys." What do we have in here?"
"Hey there Candice" He smiled back. " Well this is Lionel Diaz, 43 years old, multiple stab wounds."
"Any witnesses?"
"Yeah, that famous guy over there. Mike Shinoda." He pointed.
"Mr. Shinoda?" She asked him showing her badge. "I'm special agent Atwin."
He looked at her without answering. Her eyes were from a very light blue and showed a wildness that some people could find it daring. She had well drawned plump lips and a small perfect nose.
"Mr. Shinoda? Are you ok?"
"Yeah, yes of course." He mumbled, snapping out. "You know, I'm just tired of being here answering the same questions."
"I understand that Sir, but"
"You can call me Mike." He interruped and flashed a smile, but she didn't smile back.
"I understand, but we need to get an official statement so I'll need you to come with me. It will only take a few minutes."

"It's like I've told you before. I was just about to leave the toilet when I got a call from one of my band mates. After closing my cell phone I turned around to walk towards the exit door and then I saw him. Dead, inside the cubicle right next to mine." He watched her slowly walking from one side of the room to the other. Even though he knew what he was talking about and that his voice was steady, he couln'd help but contemplate her.
"Ok then, thank you very much." She handed him a card. "But just in case you remember something, call me."
