Chapter One:
Kellan was bouncing around the backstage at the Convention center, acting more like Alice than anything. The others were just laughing.
"What's got you so happy?" Edi Gathegi asked.
Kellan stopped bouncing, but he was still grinning like a fool.
"My sister, Kaiya, is moving to Seattle with her kids," He clapped happily.
The cast, from Twilight to Eclipse, gave him a collective 'what the fuck' look. They didn't know he had a sister, much less nieces or nephews. The eldest, Alexander James, or AJ, was born when Kaiya was 14. Kaiya had been raped by a well-to-do Senior at her school and SHE was the one who was expelled. So her parents had her homeschooled. Her daughter, Kalani, or Kal, was from a fling with a gay friend of hers, who wanted to test his sexuality. They decided it was best that Kalani didn't know he was her dad. Jasper, Fauna and Samson, had the same father. Kaiya's abusive ex-husband, who was just put in jail for raping Alexander since he was 6. Kellan knew how helpless his sister felt when she found out that her son had hid that from her. AJ had said that he did it to protect her. Her ex had said that he'd rape Kaiya if AJ didn't cooperate.
"She's moving here cause she wants her oldest to have a new change of scenery," He said seriously.
"What happened?" Elizabeth Reeser asked.
Kellan closed his eyes with a sigh.
"She found out a couple weeks ago, when her ex was arrested," He said in a tiny voice, "that he'd been raping AJ since he was six. AJ told her that her ex threatened to do it to her, if AJ didn't do what he told him to."
The others gasped and Kellan sighed shakily, then he chuckled.
"AJ was her little miracle baby," He said softly, "she had so many near miscarriages with him, that her doctor threatened to abort him if she didn't do something," then he smirked, "he lost his license. And, as it turns out, it was his son that raped and knocked up Kaiya. From the day he was born, AJ was almost always sick. He nearly died so many times, but he lived, he survived. Kaiya calls him her little fighter."
The cast members with kids smiled. Then somebody spoke.
"And I still am."
Kellan spun around to see his nephew, who was almost as tall as him. Kellan didn't have a chance to react when Kalani, Jasper, Fauna and Samson tackled him to the ground. AJ laughed, leaning on his mom when she came up. The cast looked from Kellan to Kaiya, back and forth for a bit. To them, the two looked almost like twins. The same hair, skin...though Kaiya's eyes were a darker blue. Cam noticed that one, cause the two had been staring at each other for a bit. Kaiya noticed how Cam held himself. But she had also read that he and his girlfriend broke up and he fought for sole custody of their daughter, Everleigh. Kellan would take pictures of Cam with Everleigh and send them to her. She chuckled when Cam raised a brow at her, her eyes flicking to her brother where four of her kids had him on the floor, then back to Cam. Cam took a look for himself and found himself laughing at the display.

When it had come for the Q&A, Kellan dragged AJ out with him, putting him in the empty space between him and Taylor Lautner. Kaiya snickered silently, cause she knew that her son had the BIGGEST crush on Taylor. She watched the Q&A. Though, so her younger children thought her gaze would be on her brother, she spent the time staring at Cam. Cam would stare right back, until one of the cast on either side of him noticed and elbowed him. Which was actually quite frequently. When the Q&A was over, she decided to take the kids around, knowing that AJ was safe with Kellan. The kid were loving it, Kellan having given them each something to get plenty with. Something that Kaiya was debating beating him up for. She decided that he could hold on to their stuff, while she took the kids to get something to eat.
"Hey, Kell," She set her chin on her brother's head, as he sat, signing autographs, "I'm going to steal AJ back."
Kellan tilted his head back, "Why?"
"I have to go feed the monsters," She chuckled, "Fauna and Samson are bound and determined to eat a chili cheese dog together."
Kellan laughed. Kaiya deposited the stuff they got by Kellan, kissing her little brother on the top of the head before she went toward the food concessions with her kids.
When the day was over, Kellan offered Kaiya and the kids a ride home. He knew that they had gotten a ride there with a friend, but that friend ended up ditching them. Kellan took Kaiya and the kids back to the hotel, where the kids were put to bed. AJ stayed up, to watch them, but Kellan stayed behind with them while Kaiya went downstairs. Cam, who was in the lobby, lifted his head when the elevator opened and Kaiya walked out. When he saw her, he smiled and waved her over.
"What are you waiting around for?" She chuckled.
Cam sighed and leaned back as she plopped down next to him.
"My ex is late bringing Everleigh," Cam ran a hand over his short hair.
Kaiya sighed, "Yeah, Kell told me about that."
It was better that she said it that way, then saying that she heard through the magazines. Cam gave her a look, somewhat amused, and Kaiya stuck her tongue out at him in retaliation.
"He's my baby brother," She told him, "he tells me everything."
Cam rolled his eyes, looking toward the entrance once more, to see his ex showing up with his daughter. He got up and walked over.
"Took long enough," He grumped silently.
Everleigh, who was sleeping in her carrier, was handed over and Cam walked away from his ex, saying nothing to the woman. The woman watched as Kaiya stood and went to Cam's side, taking Everleigh as they walked to the elevator together. When the elevator doors closed, Kaiya handed Everleigh back to Cam and the two cracked up laughing.
"Did you see the look on her face?" Kaiya said after taking a breath.
Cam nodded. He was surprised that the laughing hadn't woke Everleigh, but when he looked down at his daughter, he saw that she WAS awake. She was just staring at him like there was something wrong in his head.
