It was 1998. I was at the arena before the show hoping to catch a glimpse of one of the WWF’s biggest names. Mankind, The Undertaker, maybe even Stone Cold himself. You know who I saw? Stood maybe three feet away?
The Brooklyn Brawler.
That’s right. People still talk about how he was robbed in his world title shot. He could have had that gold strap over his shoulder. That night, He looked busy and soon moved out of sight.
I saw a lot of very high quality matches that night.
But seeing him was the highlight of my year.
