Outlaws

Rock n'Roll, those who play it professionally, or privately, even listening to any form of rock music has been banned in most of the world. As well as practices deemed connected to the influence of rock music, such as smoking, consuming alcohol, swearing, wearing a leather jacket, driving a muscle car, hot rod, or a motorcycle, racing, and sexual activity considered immoral by society. Basically anything even remotely fun is considered illegal by society across most of the world. Except for in one area of the United States, that much of the "civilized" world calls outlaw country. In the southwestern region of the the United States, an area that was once home to wild west outlaws such as Billy the Kid, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Is now no longer officially part of the the United States, because of the government considers the region worthless for some reason. The area is used as the world's largest prison, where all the world's criminals are shipped. People such as myself who engages in "illegal immoral activity" which is legal talk for being caught drinking a beer, while smoking a cigarette and listening to Chuck Berry, while finishing up some work on a project in my garage "while being in possession of illegal contraband", which means having a fucking Joan Jett poster, along with posters of other bands and musicians on my wall which the cops tore down and burned. Oh yeah owning records by Joan Jett and other rock n'roll artists falls under that category too. Is considered highly illegal, and since it's my third strike. That means I'm to be shipped off to outlaw country, because apparently being a part of the greaser subculture, and listening to rockabilly music, classic rock, and 80s hard rock and heavy metal, while drinking beer and smoking cigarettes makes me a dangerous criminal. Oh yeah, and being a fan Joan Jett and other rock musicians like Gunz n'Roses also makes me a supporter of terrorists. Because Joan Jett was arrested and shipped to outlaw country because being a famous rock star makes her a terrorist. Her and a long list of other rock legends have been living in outlaw country for years now. Because a few them tried starting a rebellion against the government a few years ago, which she was never officially part of. But because she's a famous rock singer and band leader, and considered by many of her fans to be the Queen of Rock n'Roll, she's considered a terrorist. Which I think is bullshit by the way, not like what I think matters. While sitting in this prison transport bus, filled with punk rockers, metal heads, greasers and more. Now some of them probably have committed an actual crime like murder or something, while the rest are people like me. Ordinary people who's only crime is being ourselves. Being shipped to an area where anarchy is a way of life. Where people are free to do whatever they want. Now that might seem like paradise to some, and some ways it is. However when you have a bunch rebels, outlaws, and actual criminals, all from the subcultures in the rock world. Each with its fair share of bad apples, you're going to have problems. But fuck it, I'm up for it and hell it might even be fun. There's gotta be something in outlaw land, for simple rock loving mechanic like myself. Hell maybe I'll get the chance to meet Joan Jett, Vince Niel, and the rest of my favorite rock stars.
