This was a really beautiful one shot! I loved it so much! Your imagery is brilliant! I'd love to read more like this from you! EXCELLENT!!!

that was really sad. usually i won't read anything that even looks like it'll end sadly, (despite the fact that i write best when it's somber and sad) but yours wasn't too bad. i fell in love with the part after the lyrics. it was really good and i'm not even just being nice. i read a lot, more than is probably healthy and not just online stuff. it's rare for me to come across a passage or something that i take the time to memorize or write down so i'll have it for later, which is what i did with that little part, hope you don't mind. if you ever write professionally, even if it's only one book, you have to put that part (or something similar) in it. sorry if i sound crazy, but i really liked it. you get an A++. ;)
