Sorry that I missed the end of this story, but it was a good ending. I don't think the story was AU so much as you got to put an interesting twist on it because of Carrie's character. There were so many directions you could take the story because of the timing you chose (hs), and I think you did it well. Your choices made it a story instead of a recounting of what the fans know of Kelly.

Loved Kelly's line about needing the bathroom, and Ashley saying that they were in the bathroom lol. This might not be popular, but I liked that Carrie went back home when things got to rough. They both did technically, but it just brings a realistic touch to the story, because when you're young and in trouble, you go home to your parents. That said, I love the idea of Carrie trying out for Idol to find Kelly. Totally your classic (no pun intended) move to prove that the love never died between the two major characters. Sad the story ended, though I hope this means that you'll have more ideas for your other stories :)

I agree with Anon, you seriously do create this world with your stories so it seems like they could continue easily. This made me even more sad to see this fic finish, but I suppose all good things have to eventually. Loved this story so much, and I'm impressed with how you managed to tie things together so well in the final chapter. I was wondering a while ago if/how you were going to incorporate the Idol stuff with it, and you did it in a way that was effective and believable. And hurrah for happy endings! You had me worried for a bit at the beginning of the epilogue lol.

Again, amazing story, it was a pleasure reading it. I'm going to miss this fic!

It is absolute fuckery that no one has reviewed this fic in over a month including me. Just wow. And where the fuck have I been!? Actually from what I can see this whole section is getting dusting. Come back? Anyway, it's an absolute WIN that Mary and Lyndsey found out/walked in and already knew. I loved that so, so much. Lol at them remembering as though they've been dating for 40 years. Those two are so damn gaydorable together. And I love this story so very much still.

Aww I'm so sad that this story had to end. You created such wonderful and complex world and it seemed like it could go on forever (you do this with all of your stories actually). But it was a fantastic end to a fantastic story and I can't wait for the next one.

Because I'm lazy and don't review doesn't mean I don't read. Got overworked for the past couple of months but it's slowin up and I can do my reviewing thing. Holy shiiiiiiiit. If my mom did half the things to me and my lover as Carole's done to Carrie and Kelly I would go completely postal on her ass. Then again I'd never let it get that far but whoa is Carrie super respectful to her mom even after all that. The control she had was amazing. I love, love, love Jeanne in this. The supporting mom in all this, awesome lady. And the first time they finally have sex... hallelujah. I love that Stephan is being accepting although it'd be hypocritical of him if he didn't but still, good stuff, the girls need that. ROFLMAO so goddamn hard at Jeanne telling Kelly to wash her hands before and after. No words can't express how epic that was. This fic is turing into so much more and something greater than I expected. I admire you and your ideas.

oh my god...you made me laugh when jeanne said not to get any germs or bacteria in carrie. it was too funny! haha this was a sweet chapter. can't wait for the next one!

i wanted Jeanne to sock Carole in the face. its cool though. i'll take what i can get. lol wow. i really hope you dont take too long to update to the next chapter. i picture a major ho-down at Carrie's house. i'm so excited i'm giddy! lol

With the way they kept getting interrupted by people, it's a wonder that they managed to sleep together at all j/k. I'm kinda sad that Steve didn't step in with Carole, though I could see how he could be shocked. I'm glad that Jeanne was there for the both of them. She easily had the best reaction of all the parents, though it wasn't that hard to beat Carole's lol. I know I missed a lot more than that, but I don't want to drag up everything. Very dramatic chapters that I missed, but that's what I like about this story. Can't wait to see what happens with Jason and his wedding, and Carrie and her parents.

Huzzah for Jeanne! I'm very happy that she reacted so well, Carole's already caused enough trouble. Loved Kelly/Carrie's cuteness together this chapter.
