Wow, you have two former band geeks reading your stories. You should be proud of yourself, lol. Ahhh, senior year. I kinda thought so, thanks for clearing that up. Rofl, Carrie's not dumb, per se, just extremely shy, awkward, and self-conscious. So that tends to not work out in her favor but I mean sometimes you just gotta wonder. It rains in Texas? I always thought that was like the desert state. I'd laugh so hard if Carrie came to pick her up and found her running around naked. Lmao at "She said if I bring home one more stray, she's gonna keep the dog and kick me out." I LOVE that you showed how completely different Kelly and Carrie's home lives are. Like Carrie's got that all-american family while Kelly's almost in poverty. I like that you show the contrast in lifestyles.

I just want Kelly's character to be like James Dean's in the movie, although Carrie is the new person (like JD's character). Let's not go literal, if you did, you'd have to kill Ashley... which is so no. You should check out "Rebel Without a Cause" though, it's a cool movie. I wasn't expecting the choir angle, but I am interested in what it can lead to. There's no such thing as too much drama, so I'm ready for some surprises- and it'll be surprising because I was in band, not choir lol. Carrie better make some good conversation when she drives Kelly home, or she could just ask Kelly to give her a tour of the town or something so they could spend time together, it would be cool if Carrie was sneaky like that.

Well, I figured they were senior ‘cause otherwise, it’d be weird for me. I kinda like em legal. Lol. And for the record, Carrie graduated magna cum laude in journalism. So it wouldn’t be that difficult for her to skip a grade. Though, that “seen any stars?” and “there’s not a whole lot going on up there” comments do make you wonder. ;) Other than that, I gotta say that I really liked the background on Kelly's situation. Such different worlds for our girls....can't wait to see where it leads!

Lol, rubber nuggets. Aww, this gave me a case of nostalgia. You made me remember how much I hated the choir kids, even though I was friends with most of them. Yeah, I was a bandie and the choir kids always used to fuck with my instrument just because it was bangable. These texas kids are weird as hell. No one gives the shy new girl any answers. The choir classes should be interesting though, I mean with two great voices like that? Mind blowing. And what grade are the girls in? My memory was probably lacking in the beginning.

Rofl. I knew watching movies that had nothing to do with the class was a universal thing. Or maybe it's just public schools because teachers never got paid enough and didn't feel making up lesson plans. Yeah, those were the days. I feel so, so bad for Carrie. She's the awkward, shy new student that you just wanna shake into not being scared. Lmao at "What's wrong? The macaroni's not that bad. I mean, sure it bounces, but none of us have died from it yet." So. True. I think Carrie made the right choice too, woulda sucked if she didn't.

Yay for a new story. I always love a good high school story. Makes me think my school's not as bad as the ones you read about. Or, if the characters are cool (like Kelly and Carrie), it makes my realise my school sucks. I laughed at Carrie's outfit, pink is the way to go, lol. Kelly seems really cool and Carrie seems really innocent, which is awesomeness combined. (Though I do hope the pink's gonna wear off, but I have faith in Kelly's corruption abilities)

Aw, yay! Yet another one from you...woot-woot! I'm excited to see what they'd be like in HS. I loved Kelly being late for class and going barefoot. It sounds so like something she'd do. And when I read the "cheerleader" line...well, I got the All-American Girl video flashing in my brain. Thanks for that! lol. Good times. I'm anxiously awaiting more. :)

Random, but where the heck have you read any other Kelly and Carrie stories, lol. I've seen Kat and Carrie, and all the usual guy pairings with Kelly and Carrie, but not Kelly and Carrie. But back to reviewing your new story, umm I really hope that was Kelly's backpack that tore, and not some part of her pajamas. And dude... I don't think Carrie was wearing enough pink lol. What was up with that? The last line was killer :) I like what you have set up so far, and think it's going to be interesting. The high school setting will definitely be different, and I'll admit I'm kinda hoping this is going to have a 'Rebel Without a Cause' vibe. I wasn't searching for anything to compare the story to, but Kelly's last line to Ashley made me think of James Dean's character in the movie.

Wow. You weren't kidding when you said there would be more ups and downs. Carrie's barely been there for an hour and has already manage to piss off one of two people she's met, lol. Then again it's not entirely her fault but I imagine Kelly would be edgier in high school because ya know, that's just how things roll. Oh god, please don't let Carrie fall into the clone crowd. Lmao at "No, she just used to be a guy, but decided she'd rather wear a skirt...so here we are." Aww, this story is completely awesome already.
