HOLY SHIT. He's gay!? Out of the things I could have suspected that was never one of them. That's such a good plot twist though, absolutely love it. It gives a bit of reasoning to Carole's behavior but it also makes me not like her even more. The woman really is crazy if she thinks gay is genetic. I sympathize with Carrie so much. That's gotta put more than a little bit of stress you knowing that your dad's gay and your mom's crazy but they don't know you know. I like it though. I see it as another way Kelly and Carrie can bond and feel closer some how. Speaking of which, on the beginning of this I think Carrie's so worried about what's going to happen because she knows what's happeing while Kelly is kinda oblivious. It's still cute as hell that they're both so coupley yet they don't acknowledge it. I'm still hoping no one accidentally walks in on them and blows their chances of ever admiting they've got the hots for each other.

So cute & very well-written. They are so great together. I love their friendship-they are so close & really care about each other. I think they are in love with each other...but still haven't quite got that all figured out just yet. U are telling a great coming out story. Look forward to the next chapter.

Jeanne is the better mommy. I like that Carrie's favorite song is Addicted, though I thought that Kelly hadn't finished the recording on it because of her and Ashley's fight. I was glad to see Kelly ask about Carrie stopping her before when they were lying down, and it was nice to see that she isn't completely naive. Like, I know that sounds weird, but it was good that Kelly wonders what's too far. Maybe my bad memory is kicking in, but since when is Carrie 18? Please ignore that last sentence if I totally blanked on a scene or chapter that mentioned it.

Haha, fruity pebbles. I am so loving this Jeanne. Fucking loved those slip ins about Addicted and Because of You. The fact that Kelly's even letting Carrie listen to those tapes is a big thing for her. Amazing how in a few short months Carrie's already gained that much of Kelly's trust. Those 'teaching' scenes are the best. LOL, Kelly's such a smartass. If only Carole knew what was going on in that bathroom. Loved that last bit of flirting.

Damn. Kelly's been getting into with her friends lately. "The guy could write...but that doesn't make him any less of a fairy in tights..." LoL, my thoughts exactly. Wow, I was stunned for a good while after reading the section of Carrie fighting with her parents. "Make you what, Dad? Come after me? I'd like to see you try." That was a truly exceptional piece of writing. All vivid and jam packed with imagery and what not. Beautiful. I'm glad to see Carrie stand up to both of them. And I was surprised Stephan got in on the Kelly hating. I expect it from Carole but not him. She's either got him exceptionally whipped or on an extremely short leash. Woohoo! Pajama party for Kelly and Carrie with a side order of cuddling. I'm so glad Kelly took her in and Jeanne let her stay. Carrie's going through hell and the one adult she thought she could count on just betrayed her. So good.

Jessica is being a little too over protective of Ashley and Kelly. I know she said she was trying to cater to both of them, but when Kelly brought up Carrie, and she knows enough about how Kelly thinks of Carrie, that's when she said the catering thing. So, to me, it seemed like she was trying to be protective of Kelly's feelings too, by not saying anything about Carrie. Of course I could be totally wrong, it could be like how they all think Kelly's so naive lol. Poor Lindsey is probably wondering what's going on with the three of them. I had to laugh when Kelly explained Romeo and Juliet to Carrie, but she didn't get that Carrie's joke wasn't so much of a joke. I loved Carrie calling her mom out, but I got a little sad with what Carrie said to her dad at the end of the fight and that Carrie said she didn't know why Carole didn't like Kelly. I figure they've probably had previous fights about Carrie playing softball and the like. One last thing, I hope Kelly told her mom about the details of Carrie's fight with her parents, otherwise it would really suck if they showed up and Jeanne had to let them take Carrie back home.

I have to agree with Jessica being a tad bit too over-protective, sometimes things need to be said bluntly and that's exactly what Kelly did. But I'm glad Lyndsey was there to show Kelly that taking a break from Ashley can be a good thing. And I absolutely adored when Kelly was explaining Romeo and Juliet to Carrie, that's actually really close to the explanation I was told a few years back and it sums up the play in a very good way. Carrie's "fairy in tights" quips keep making me laugh, it definitely sounds like something a high school student would say who doesn't get Shakespeare. Ouch, I cringed at Carrie's last words to her father. That was a bit much, but that tends to happen when emotions run high in a fight like that. I'm actually just glad Carrie called Carole out, it's a great show of how Kelly's outspoken behavior in public is rubbing off on Carrie. And I love the end of this chapter, it's great that Jeanne was okay with Carrie staying over; I have to agree with willriley, I do hope Kelly explained the situation even just a little so that Jeanne's not completely left in the dark as to why Carrie came over upset. Simply put, this was another amazing chapter.

Haha, Stacey totally got owned by Kelly. I hated Shakespeare in high school, we had to do one of his plays every year for english. Carole's got issues, she should know that forbidding Carrie from seeing Kelly will only make her want to see her more. "Yea, she said I was blatantly disrespecting her." lol, that reminds me of the Lion King when Mufasa told Simba he deliberately disobeyed him. Ashley's got a major case of supreme jealousy going on, can't really blame her though. Kelly and Carrie see no one but each other. Oh man, Carrie was totally hinting when Kelly said love was stupid and Carrie told her that she'd think differently one day.
