"What the fuck is this?"
Kyo sighed. "A song."
"I don't think so." Kaoru shoved the piece of paper covered with Kyo's scribble-like handwritting on it.
"What the FUCK is your God damn problem?"
"Dir en grey doesn't do love songs, Kyo-san."
Kyo sighed and rolled his eyes up, shaking his head. "Amber was a love song."
"Yeah, our one and only. I'd like to keep it that way. Who the fuck do you think we are? GacktJOB?"
Kyo stared down Kaoru, the heat of the sun in his eyes, but Kaoru didn't flinch. Kyo had gotten pissed at him before, it was no new thing. There was no way in hell Kaoru was going to sacrifice Dir en grey just because Kyo was having a dick up his ass and orgasm every night.
Kyo suddenly had a thought and narrowed his eyes at Kaoru. "You haven't gone to Shinya-kun with this..."
"Iie, Shinya-san is doing his job just fine."
Kyo felt his face grow hot, not sure whether it was from embarrassment or anger. Kyo had never hated someone he cared about so much as he hated Kaoru at this moment. Kaoru didn't understand the love Kyo felt for Shinya. Love...A work Kyo had never used lightly. Shinya was the embodiment of Kyo's love...he wanted to tell the world. The only way he could do that was through this song.
"Look, just because you're fucking him every night--"
"I AM NOT FUCKING HIM!!"
Kaoru actually stared at Kyo, surprised by the outburst. Although Kyo did get mad easily, he rarely raised his voice so much, especially to Kaoru. Kyo just glared at the floor and shook his head, feeling the hotness of tears form in his eyes. How could Kaoru do this to him...? How could he be so cruel...
Kaoru sighed and frowned. "Why are you making me treat you like a misbehaving child, Kyo-kun?"
"I'm not making you do shit," Kyo spat.
"Fine, be a little brat. When Dir en grey looses everything because of you, then I just hope you're happy because you have your little boyfriend." With that, Kaoru left the practice room.
Kyo closed his eyes and tears slid down his cheeks. He got up and kicked the garbage can over, succeeding in nothing but hurting his foot and knocking trash into the room. He dropped to his knees and haunched his back, doubling over as he covered his face with his hands and sobbed. He wanted nothing more than Shinya to come to him, wrap his arms around him and promise him that everything was going to work out fine. He realised how much this angered him and he slammed his fist down onto the floor hard enough to break the skin. He gasped sharply and inspected his hand. Nothing serious. He stood and got some toilet paper from the bathroom and pressed it into his hand, then cleaned up the mess from the garbage. After the room had been cleaned, Kyo sat down hard on a chair, wondering exactly how to tell the love of his life that they couldn't be together anymore.
