chapter 11
It had been two weeks since Kelly had seen or heard from Carrie, even though she told the country girl to leave her alone a part of her had wanted Carrie to fight for her. Nathan had been signed on to the new tour and Kelly spent most of her free time with him Jason and Ashley, he had taken her mind off Carrie a great deal. His humour was very attractive to Kelly and if it wasn't for Carrie Kelly could see herself falling for the tall New Yorker.
They were at this moment on the bus going towards the first venue to rehearse before the tour began in two days time.
"So Kel you gonna do it"
"Do what Nate" Kelly and Nathan had taken up the back of the bus away from everyone else.
"You going to go out with me tonight"Kelly had to laugh at that.
"I dont remember you asking me out,did you do it when i passed out before,"
"Exactly, i did it when you fell asleep, so will you?" Kelly knew she should say no it wasn't far to him to lead him on but part of her felt that if she let this happen maybe it would fix her alittle.
"Ok"
"Wait... what. You mean yes you will go out with me." Nathan hadn't really expected her to say yes, it had been the third time he had asked her out since they met, he was getting used to her saying no.
"Yes... i will go out with you." Nathan jumped off the seat and headed towards the front of the bus.
"Hey where you going" Kelly shouted after him.
"I have a date tonight ive got to prepare...... be ready by eight."With that the bus stopped at the hotel and he was out the door before Kelly could answer him.
"And what was that miss Clarkson" Ashley stood in front of Kelly with her arms folded.
"Nathan asked me out" Kelly said shyly.
"Really..... took him long enough...... no wait.... took you long enough to agree. The boys been falling for you since you met."Kelly shrugged her shoulders at Ashley.
"I figured i would give him one date, he would see how crazy i am and never want another one"
"Yeah right....."Ashley walked back to her seat turning to kelly before she sat."i wish you could see what others see in you kel."

Carrie's stomach was in nots,she really hadn't been looking forward to this day. Sitting in the back of the driven car her manager with her she hadn't said a word in two hours. Her mind was full of Kelly as usual, today they would see each other again and Carrie really didn't know what to expect. Clive had made it clear to Carrie that Kelly didn't want anything to do with her again,Clive had won again pushing a wedge between the singers.
"Carrie.....Carrie, Carrie we're here." Carrie looked around at her surroundings the car had parked outside a nice looking hotel,looking behind her she saw the bus. The bus she knew Kelly would be on, Clive was making them stay at the same hotel even though Carrie knew that Kelly and Ashley would sleep on the bus. Carrie loved that about Kelly how no matter how nice the hotels were she liked the bus better that girl was made for touring.
Carrie pushed herself from the car trying her best not to look at the bus as she past it heading towards the hotel. She could hear laughing coming from the open window of the bus,she knew Kelly's laugh anywhere covering her mouth with her hand she rushed past the bus afraid if she heard any more she would cry.

"You cant be serious.... did you really do that"
"Yes......i swear to god Kel it happened."Kelly laughed harder at Nathan's latest story of his past. The two of them were left sitting alone on this bus as the others took the time to unpack in their rooms.
"You should do that more often Kelly"
"Do what?" Kelly asked
"Laugh.... it suits you."A silence fell Upon the two of them, Kelly didn't really know how to answer that. She wasn't used to comments like that from people, it always made her shy. It had took Carrie months of constant comments before she could get Kelly to accept one.
Carrie entering her mind and brought darkness over Kelly's face again,something that hadn't gone unnoticed by Nathan.
"You ok" Nathan ran his hand over Kellys bare arm.
"Yeah im fine..... just sometimes i wish i could forget you know?"
"You can forget...... if you want to"Before Kelly could answer Nathan and leant forward pressing his lips to Kelly's, surprising her with a kiss.
