Chapter 19
Elle stood in the middle of the room her little face Pulled into a frown, she didn't know if she should leave or wake them. Carrie lay flat against the sofa while Kelly lay out on top of her. Her head resting on her chest. Carrie arms wrapped around Kelly's waist holding her close. Her mommy only ever lay like that with her daddy, she didn't know she could do it too with Auntie Carrie too. Deciding she wanted to stay she tried her hardest to be quiet, slowly pulling herself up onto the sofa she found a small spot against Carrie's side. She had just woke up and wasn't really tired but it looked comfy in Carrie's arms so the little girl rested her head and closed her eyes.
Carrie woke soon after, before she opened her eyes she felt Elle pressed against her side. She really didn't want Elle seeing her and Kelly like that before they had a chance to explain to her what was going on. Carrie didn't know if Elle would take the news well or if she wanted her mommy and daddy together. feeling her phone vibrate against her hip for the fifth time. She didn't need to answer it she knew who it was. Sarah had been texting her all morning, Carrie knew now that Sarah wasn't being supportive. The texts have gotten worse, beginning with concern and turning into hatred. Asking if Kelly was there, if they were laughing at her. She didn't know what had gotten into Sarah, she had turned into a complete crazy woman. Carrie had decided to ignore the texts from now on, she wasn't even going to Look at them now.
'Mmmm happy to see me or is that a gun in your pocket?' Kelly lifted her head up to look at Carrie. Resting her chin on Carrie's chest.
'What?'
'I felt a vibrate.' Carrie laughed.
'My phone...text.' Kelly hid her face in Carrie's chest.
'Well that's embarrassing. '
'Yeah it was....especially with your daughter right here. Kelly looked up to find Elle looking at her.
'Hey mommy.'Elle raised her eyebrows giving Kelly her sweetest smile. ' Happy to see me?'
'Course......Your very good to see.' Elle shrugged while climbing over Kelly jumping onto the floor.
'I get that a lot' Elle left Carrie and Kelly laughing on the sofa.
'Where'd you find her Kel?' Kelly stopped laughing and looked at Carrie.
'Good question.........Where did I get her' Carrie sat up a little.
'Well you didn't buy her if that's what your asking.' Kelly shook her head.
'No I mean...she didn't just appear one day.......who's that father?' Carrie sat up fully causing Kelly to sit up too.
'What made you ask that..... I mean have you been thinking about it.......you remembering anything?' Carrie was panicking now.
'What no.....just popped into my head.....why what's wrong?.
'What nothing...no nothings wrong.....just a funny question to ask.' Carrie stood up walking out the door. ' I better see what Elle's up to' Carrie called back to Kelly. Kelly was left sitting on the sofa wondering what she had done wrong.
