"Dozing"
Billie Joe stood with his back against the door for a moment before ambling over to the bed. He found the remote and quickly changed the channel from the animated- robot- cartoon- nonsense Joey and Jakob had been watching before they left. He stood lethargically surfing the channels a while longer and quickly grew bored.
He let his knees fall out from under him and flopped into the bed, thrashing until he found a suitable resting position. From which he continued his channel flippage. Soon he grew annoyed with the lack of quality programming available in the hotel room.
He turned off the tube and tossed the remote into an easy chair across the room.
With a loud sigh Billie took a visual account of the room. Your avergae hotel suite. Mini kitchen, mini living room,
all the aspects of a home conveniently miniaturized for travel purposes. He wondered how his two relatively small sons could make such a giant mess in this miniature home.
Billie burrowed into his pillows and layed. Just layed. It had been a while since he was last able to lay in undisturbed silence, and he planned to take full advantage of it.
The room was cool but not cold. Just the right temperature to send a single shiver form the tip of his neck down into his ill fitting black boxer shorts.
Billie dozed in and out of dreams. Glancing periodically at the clock, watching his fleeting free time escape him.
"I wonder what Mike's doing?" He thought to himself. Though he could have just as freely said it out loud as he was all by himslef in the room. He knew Mike was in the next room,
probably alone, and just as bored as he was. He thought, "I'll go crash his quiet time and see what he's doing." But he found his compfort to be paralyzing. Though he greatly desired to see what his band mate was up to, he could not pull him self from the covers now swallowing his body.
Again he dozed, but this time his once non sensicle dreams took on a distinct theme.
