The Secrets Between us

Kelly had finally rolled off Carrie letting the blonde snuggle up to her side as she lay on her back. she didn't know if Carrie was awake or not,she hadn't said anything in a while but that was OK to Kelly she enjoyed the silence. She thought back to their time apart and how unhappy they both were,at this moment she didn't understand how she could have stayed away for so long.every part of her body craved the country singer, the very thought of not having that was something Kelly wasn't willing to do. Feeling carrie's leg brush against her own she held her breath not trusting herself not to moan.



"so your awake."Kelly looked down towards the voice.



"yeah for a while now"she whispered,unsure why though.



"I love this part"Carrie whispered back. Kelly let out a small laugh she knew Carrie would whisper when she did.



"what part baby"



"the part where we lay naked in each others arms after......well you know..after that."Kelly laughed again causing Carrie to lift her head off Kelly chest to look at her."what you laughing at.....im being open here.



"I know baby I know but you cant even say the words can you."



"of course I can im a grown woman i can say any word in the world."



"you cant say the word literary."this remark was reward with a dig in the ribs from Carrie.



"hey you I told you that as a secret don't go blabbing."



"don't worry baby your little speak impediment is our little secret......"



"its one word..... plus its a really hard word."



"it sure it baby.... now snuggle back into me im not ready to go back in their yet."

Kelly's mom tried the bus door again but knowing it was locked she walked back towards the bar knowing that's the band would be there.



"OK boys who's go the keys to the bus"all shocked faces turned to see kelly's mom standing at the bar door. each taking turns to welcome the older woman the found the keys and she headed towards the bus again. after a short fight with the lock she manage to get it open. pushing the door behind her she locked it again,she didn't want anyone walking in when she was probably going to be having the most serious talk of her life. Hearing her daughter giggle from the back of the bus she knew what her son had said was true.standing on the other side of the door she calmed herself before knocking lightly.



"ok missy cover up im coming in."with that she slid open the door to reveal two rather shocked singers gripping the bed clothes to their chests covering themselves from new eyes.



"mom what.....what...oh god"Kelly really didn't know what to say at this moment she thought it would be better to shut up.carrie really couldn't speak she thought she had died about 5 seconds ago.



"today is really not a good day for me Kelly.........not only have I been dragged away from a perfectly nice afternoon with friends but ive now watched two of my kids get it on......now both of you get dressed and meet me outside..."turning to walk away she turned back looking at Carrie...."im Jeanne..... now get dressed"what that she was gone closing the door behind her.



Carrie and Kelly shuffled around the room getting dressed,they hadn't looked at each other since her mother shut the door Kellyydidn''t know what was happening and Carrie worried that whatever they had was about to break. fixing her hair in the mirror Kelly turned to see Carrie starring at her.



"what ever happens out there car, you know I love you right."Carrie could breath again she was sure the young Texan was about to break her heart.



"whatever happens....I love you."stealing one last kiss the both held hands as they walked towards the front of the bus.
