Baby Can I Hold You

'Oh I'm not happy Carrie......I'm really not happy.' Kelly walked back and forth at the bottom of the bed.



'Well I am.....I'm loving this view' Kelly winked from the top of the bed. Kelly was standing at the bottom of the bed wearing only a long t shirt. She had made her dramatic entrance into Carrie room waking the blonde up.



'She's crazy....the woman is crazy.'



' I heard that young lady.' Came the loud voice from the other side of the door.



' Jeanne get in here.' Carrie called. The older woman entered making her way towards Kelly.



'I don't see what her problem is.......they're family.'



'My problem mom?.....my problem........I'm recovering from losing my memory and your inviting strangers to stay......Carrie tell her no.' Carrie suddenly felt like a mother of two bratty teenagers.



'What?......Kelly I can't tell your mother no......She's your mother.' Carrie explained.



'Yea my mother...not yours...tell the crazy woman no.' Kelly huffed.



'I'm right here young lady....your not to old to be put over my knee.' Carrie pushed herself under the covers more, maybe if she hid they would leave her alone.



'Oh mother trust me I am.........'



'Young lady in my house...my rules are law.'



'HA.....This isn't your house this is Carrie's house.' Pushing her head up from the covers Carrie gave a little wave to the two woman at the bottom of her bed.



'Yes and as Carrie is a sweet girl I'm sure she has no problem letting our family come to visit.' Both woman turned to Carrie for an answer.



'Yeah well...this is a small house....you know there only so much room.' Carrie looked towards Jeanne. ' well I mean there is a lot of room....big rooms lots of beds.....' Kelly cleared her throat.' what I mean is there is well rooms but not lots of rooms...In fact it's a really small house.'



' OK OK .....Kelly lets stop torturing the poor girl.' Jeanne sat on the edge of the bed causing Kelly to do the same. 'I have the answer to all this.'



'Hotel' Kelly whispered. Ignoring her Jeanne Continued



'Since I'm a very hip cool mother' Jeanne ignored the giggles coming from Kelly.' And I have been more than happy with my married daughter going on dates with a woman.' this stopped the giggling.



'What....I mean dating a woman come on...why would you think that?'



'Elle told me.....Mommy and Auntie Carrie kiss. ' Jeanne shrugged.



'Oh that kids got a big mouth for someone so small.'



'Big ears too' Carrie continued as she pointed towards the door.



'Get in here Elle.........' Kelly stopped turning to her mother. ' What's her middle name?' she whispered.



'Carrie.' Jeanne whispered back causing Kelly to turn smiling at Carrie.



'I named her after you?' Kelly gushed.



'Yeah cause I was so cute and blonde mommy.' Elle said from behind the bedroom door.



'Get in here.' Elle entered keeping her eyes on her feet. 'You been telling tales to Grandma?' Kelly asked.



'It's only tales when it's not the truth mommy.'



'She's got a point there Kelly.' Carrie remarked.



'yea well no more story telling......we have guests coming and they don't need to know what's going on in our home.' Kelly left the room. ' Mom come on......you've got cooking to do.'



'That mean the family reunion is on?' Jeanne asked Carrie.



' Think so....but I would hurry before she changes her mind.' Jeanne she ran out the room leaving Elle behind. Carrie really didn't know what she had gotten into allowing Kelly's whole family to come visit but she knew it wouldn't be boring. Patting the bed beside her she waited for Elle to get in befors Snuggling back under the covers Carrie and Elle decided it would be better to leave the work to the Clarksons.
