Kelly stood at the back door watching Carrie pace up and down the back yard with her cell to her ear. She didn't want to disturb whatever deep conversation she was having,she was sure she knew what it was about but she had no idea who she was talking to. She saw her girlfriend smile shortly before hanging up the phone and walking towards her.
"I'm going to need you to run upstairs quick and pack a bag...we're leaving in ten minutes ." Kelly watched as Carrie made her way back into the house.
"car...hey where are we going" Kelly shouted after the young blonde.
"La..." Kelly heard Carrie walk out of the front door towards the car. Quickly following her out she saw the young blonde moving things around in the back of the car.
"Why.....what's in la."
"The Ellen show.....we're doing an interview.....Ellen's team have a private plane for us at the airport......bags Kelly..come on start packing."
"We're going on the Ellen show to talk about our private life's..?......you sure that's a good idea......shouldn't we talk to management first." Carrie turned sighing heavily.
"Kelly how many people are in this relationship?" Kelly frowned.
"ehh...two?" Kelly asked. She really didn't want to piss Carrie off any more than she was right now.
"yes two...you and me......not my mother or management and certainly not Clive......so as one of the two in this couple I want to go on TV and tell the world how madly in love with my girlfriend I am.....and how I don't care who the hell knows or what the hell they think....so get the damn bags." Kelly stood smiling like a idiot watching her girlfriend rant. "and what are you smiling at."
"that was the most romantic thing anyone's ever said to me." Kelly walked towards Carrie keeping the silly smile on her face.
"even with the over use of the word hell?" Carrie smiled pulling her girlfriend into a hug.
"it sounds so sweet coming from you."
"good....so get the damn bags....we can go over what we are saying on the plane"
"ok.." Carrie laughed watching Kelly skip back into the house,she knew this day would probably be the hardest of their life's so far but she was sure she was doing the right thing. It was time the world knew that Carrie Underwood was in love with Kelly Clarkson.
