The Secrets Between us

Carrie let Kelly lead her by the hand through the large doors towards the tv studio. The had been told when they arrived that Ellen would do the interview without a live studio audience,the interview would be shown on her show later that day. Carrie hoped this would work,she had been raised to tell the truth now when her fans realised she had been lying for so long would they be forgiving. Lossing fans would hurt her but she could cope as long as Kelly didn't lose anything. The young Texan had worked too hard to let her dream die now. She looked ahead towards Kelly as they saw Ellen walking towards them. She noticed a warm smile on the interviewer face,she knew asking her to do the interview had been the right choice.



"Hey guys....glad you got here safe."Ellen took turns hugging both girls before leading them into the large empty studio."we don't have much time...the audience will be heading in soon but hopefully you both can get what you want to say out......Anything you don't want to talk about.."



"Nope...we trust you wont get too personal..."Kelly smiled towards Carrie they had talked all the way from Jeanne's about what to say and what not to,Carrie had finally agreed that trying to shut up the young Texan probably wouldn't work anyway so she may as well talk about everything.



"ok well both of you sit and we'll start." Kelly sat nearest the camera she felt she had to shield Carrie and the baby from the invisible audience. The minute Carrie sat down she grabbed a hold of Kelly's hand before shyly looking towards Ellen.



"is this ok....i mean holding her hand...you want me to stop." Ellen let out a laugh.



"She's your girlfriend....just don't walk around holding my wife's hand and we wont have a problem." Kelly just shook her head at Carrie's nervous.



"yeah....sorry....this is sort of new." eElen nodded before turning to the camera man. After a few nods back and forth Ellen looked into the camera.



(ok im here with Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson both of your American idols. As the world probably knows by now this morning Carrie's parents gave an interview expressing their feelings. im here to let Kelly and Carrie tell you their feelings) turning towards the girls. (so hi) Kelly laughed at Ellens cuteness.



(hi ellen) Kelly gripped tighter on carries hand.



(well we should probably start.....your mother is telling the truth Carrie.)



( in some ways yes.... i mean Kelly and i are together and i am pregnant)



(yeah i could tell....but about the rest) Kelly decided to join the conversation at this point.



(well ive only met Carrie's mother once....so her judgement of me wasn't really good)



(she says your controlling her daughter)



(which isn't true... i mean she's a grown woman how can i control her..)



(Ellen my mother met Kelly for 5 minutes the whole meeting was filled with to much shock for anyone to really get to know anyone...my mother had just found out i was in love with a woman and i was pregnant i can accept that she is upset by this... but to go on tv and say those things about my partner really doesn't sit well with me.)



(did you know she would be going on tv?)



(no first thing we knew was when we watched it on tv along with the rest of America)



(are you hurt Carrie) Kelly turned looking at Carrie,she wanted to know the answer to that too. Carrie hadn't said a word about her mother the whole way there.



(more angry that anything else.....none of this had to happen....she's just hung Kelly and i out for the public to bash.....)



(your mother says your confused and scared...is she right)



(im scared yes....im going to be a mother soon of course im scared...im more scared now that i know i dont have my mother around to help me......but it just makes me even more happy that i have Kelly and Jeanne in my life.)



(Jeanne?)



(yeah my mother....we have been staying with her since we found out Carrie was pregnant)



(so your mother is ok with this Kelly.....she knew about you and Carrie before this morning.)



(my mother found out about us a few months ago.....)



(Kelly's mom has been so good to us.....she's took me in and took care of me when i needed help the most.)



(well it sounds like you both have everything you need right now......but how did this all begin.) Kelly smiled hearing Carrie let out a little giggle.



(well we met at a party a few years ago.....one of Clives)



(ah yes you share a boss....so he set you up?)



(not exactly....he was showing off Carrie to everyone at the party...she was his new girl...we just hung out that night.)



(was there an attraction that night) Carrie jumped on the question before Kelly had a chance.



(oh long before that.....i can remember seeing her sing on the first season of idol... I think my crush developed there.) Ellen laughed leaning towards Carrie.



(your not the only one) Kelly tried not to react to that comment but she felt her cheeks turn red as Carrie giggled along with Ellen.



(what about you Kelly...did you watch Carrie on idol)



(actually no i didnt ...dont get me wrong if i knew she was on tv i would have taped it and watched over and over again...but sadly i was on tour at the time....but i did hear the name Carrie Underwood a lot from my friends.)



(so this night happened...you met hung out and realised an attraction....how long did that take.)



(as long as it took Clive to say this is Kelly cCarkson.... but seriously we really connected that night and it wasn't long before we were dating.)



(fell in love pretty quickly i see.....so not to ask a stupid question but your pregnant)



(yep almost 12 weeks now) Ellen smiled sweetly.



(but how....doner?) Kelly held her breath they had talked about what to say when this question came up.



(something like that......we don't really want to go into that...but what i will say is that we are having this baby together. Its mine and Kelly's and we will raise it together.) Kelly smiled.



(well congrats......and how is the baby) Carrie didn't open her mouth she knew it was Kelly's turn to ramble.



(so beautiful...we went for a scan a few weeks back it was so amazing.... we heard that heartbeat and everything...oh i have a picture) Ellen and Carrie shared an amused smile as Kelly pulled a picture of the scan from her back pocket.



(you brought pictures....well let me hold these up) Ellen showed the camera the pictures before having a look herself (ill ask Kelly this question Carrie...what am i looking at) Kelly jumped from her seat getting on her knees in front of Ellen to show her the picture.



(well this little dot here...see it?)



(yeah yeah i see that)



(thats our baby) Carrie watched on amused as her girlfriend proudly showed off their baby.



(i can see you've studied this scan a lot Kelly)



(god yes...every night since i got it)



(so its very clear to see that your both happy about this baby.....but what about your fans...do you think they will accept you both) both girls stayed silent both thinking about the question. Carrie found her answer first.



(i know both me and Kelly have amazing fans...real ones that wont turn their backs on us and im thankful for them....but im not stupid enough to think everyone will accept us...our life style isn't what most people would class as normal....my mother has proven that but im not living my life for them...my life is about my family and Kelly and our baby is my family.) Carrie turned to Kelly smiling.



(well Ellen i dont really know how to top that...i should have gone first....but Carries right this is our personal life and we have to make each other happy first...i just hope our fans realise this....being in love with Carrie isnt going to make me any less of a singer...im still the same person the only thing that might change is the fans might get some happy love songs for a change......i just want everyone to respect my family you might not agree with me but please don't be rude to us....i understand if you wont let your kids come to my concerts now and i accept that you don't want to hear about our personal life's but i will not accept rudeness........being in love with a woman does not give people the right to look down on me....and i wont accept it if it happens.) Kelly finished sitting back.



(couldn't have said it better myself Kelly.....well thank you both of you...or three of you i should say...thanks for coming guys im glad you decided to speak up....i just hope it helps.) Ellen turned towards the camera saying goodbye as Kelly placed her hand on Carries leg letting the young blonde know she had did a good job. Both shared a loving smile before turning to Ellen.



"cant believe i came out on tv......"



"well Carrie it was brave......you too Kelly" Both girls said their goodbyes to Ellen and her staff as they got ready for the live show. Kelly thought it would be a good idea to get out of la before the show started not wanting to create stress for Carrie.

"well you've done it now.....your stuck with me." Carrie was laying against the large sofa on the private plane Kelly's head resting against her stomach.



"done what?"



"told the world you love me.......cant dumped me now"



"damn really?......guess ill just have to keep you around then......you might come in handy for something."



"mmm like mother of your child." Kelly sat up until she was face to face with Carrie.



"thats a start......mother of my second child too.....hell i could have a football team soon."



"wow wow.....who says im carrying any more kids.......dont you think i would want you carrying then next one."



"you dont want that....i was a horrible child..."



"yeah true ive heard the stories from Jeanne." Kelly smacked Carrie on the leg.



"your supposed to say no you weren't....."



"baby you know i don't like lying to you....i've seen the pictures heard the stories....in fact your right i should carry all the kids..... "Kelly smiled laying back down against carries stomach.



"its a deal then.....your having my football team."
