Arranged Melancholia

The months dragged by slowly for June as she awaited the birth of her child. Nothing seemed more lonely than she, and the pregnancy wore down on her relationship with Robert. He tried oh, he really tried, but June was always sick, and she was beginning to obsess about the expected child. Ever since she held the baroness' second child that day in the grand home, she was convinced that promise or no promise, their child would never be good enough for the child obarobaron. Finally,y a day arrived when the sun shone brightly and the birds ang sweetly that the arrival of Darren Stanley Hayes came. He was a beautiful child, with large blue eyes and jet black hair, and instantaneously, June was enamored by him.

Across town in the presigious home of the baron

"Hughie, Darling! Oh Dear God! What has happened to my baby?" Christine's loud screams echoed throught the house as the doctor carried the bleeding child into the house.
"He's going to be alright Mrs Jones. He Took a terrible fall in which a horse managwed to sever his testicles; He will be sterile, but will live just the same." Suddenly, a dark thought crossed Christine's mind. It was probably good that Hugh was sterile, then that blasted peasant family could not have his chidren. So instead of weeping, the day was seen as a blessing in disguise.


Sorry this chapter is so short, but I know where I'm going with this, and I can't put my new ideas into this chapter, so love the little bit of humor I've thrown in and be patient. I'm working on something good.
