The Secrets Between us

"what are you doing in my room...... my apartment."Carrie stood rooted to the stop completely shocked at her surprised guest.

"Your late home Carrie..... where have you been" Clive sat confidently on Carrie'e bed waiting for her reply.

"Clive this is my home.... you cant just come in without being asked."

"Carrie Carrie Carrie....you should know by now I can do what I want"smiling Clive stood walking past Carrie heading for the door."how was miss Clarkson today... everything you remember?"

"Get out....... now. leave and don't come back unless your invited" Carrie stood tall bravely facing her boss as he smugly laughed.

"I'll leave for now" opening the door he turned back to her "I left a small gift in the bedroom drawer for you Carrie.... hope you like it" with that he was gone. Carrie fell back until she felt the wall prop her up, it freaked her out that Clive could be so involved in her life. She blamed herself for letting him control her. She gave him the power in his office all those months ago, allowing him to take control and take her away from Kelly. Sometimes Carrie thought back on that day Clive had found her in his office, he must have known it felt like she was tricked into the events of that day.

"baby come on now, he will be here any minute" Kelly sat perched up on Clive's large desk pulling Carrie in-between her legs.

"When did you become so shy,..... aren't you always telling me I need to be more affectionate with you...well baby here it is." Kelly leaned down letting her tongue glide over Carrie's neck bone.

"mmmm who taught you to do that kel?"

"Ashley...... Carrie im not lying that girl has a talented tongue."Carrie could feel Kelly smile into her neck, pulling back to look at her

"You know I don't think that's funny, you spend way to much time with that girl as it is Kelly." Carrie jealousy was showing again.

"Care don't....... it was a joke you know your the only girl ive been with...... stop it." Kelly pulled the country girl back to her kissing the top of her head."Its been one year and ten months... you and me still together why would I want anyone else.. man or woman."Kelly tried reassuring the country girl.

"six days" Carrie mumbled into Kelly neck.

"What baby?" Kelly pulled back looking into her girlfriends eyes.

" one year ten months and and six days"

"Ah" Kelly giggled " and they were 6 pretty wonderful day weren't they."

"My favourite part was the naked Kelly...... very wonderful" that comment received a smack from Kelly. Carrie leaned in letting Kelly have her little moment of rebellion, making out in the bosses office was always a little fantasy for Kelly. Hiding her love for Carrie was torture at times but she knew it was for the best. No one was ready for the American idols love affair, no one would understand.

Kelly jumped hearing the door open pushing Carrie back until she fell into the waiting seat. Clive striding over to the girls a smile plastered onto his face.

" miss Clarkson we have talked about you using my desk as a seat."

"Mr Davis if you had seats to fit my butt then I would use them, till then your desk is fine." Carrie hid her smile from Clive,she loved watching her girl stand up to him.something she could never do.

"Right well Kelly you can take your butt off my desk cause I need to talk to Carrie....... Career stuff."

"But you asked us both here" Kelly looked at Clive watching him smile again.

"yes I did but I changed my mind...... you can wait for Carrie outside...... bye Kelly." Kelly touched Carrie's shoulder before walking to the door. Clive watched Carrie carefully seeing the affection in her eyes as she watched Kelly leave."Right Carrie...... you know why I asked you here?"

"No sir" Clive smiled at her shyness.

"Kelly is a great artist great talent im lucky to have...... but"

"but?" Carrie sat up she knew she wasn't going to like this.

"But she's a wild one......ive noticed you and her becoming closer as times gone on.......that's not good Carrie.."Clive came to standing front of the young girl.

"why not....she's a great....friend sir she's a great friend to me."

" im sure she is but she will ruin you Carrie"

"no...." Carrie stood in front of her boss " Kelly would never hurt me"

"Carrie..... dear if your mother was to know what you and Kelly really are to each other what would she think of you" oh god he knew Carrie thought. He had found out their secret." your mother would be so ashamed of you honey, it would ruin her.......Kelly's family don't care what she does as long as she makes money.... but your family care about you. think about them Carrie"

"Your wrong Kelly's family are wonderfully to her"

"how would you know....... have you met them?" Carrie was stumped at that, Kelly had never let her meet any of them, afraid they would guess. Instead they had hid in secret sharing a few days here and there in La." Now dear I want you to go home and think about what I have said....but do not tell Kelly I know.....she will only do something to hurt her career and I know you don't want that."Clive turned his back to Carrie fixing his desk letting the country girl leave.

That was the beginning of the heartache. Carrie wished now she had left the office and told Kelly everything,they could have worked it out together but no Carrie had to do it alone. Now she was alone dealing with everything. Remembering Clive leaving comment Carrie went searching her room for what he had left. Reaching the drawer she found it, an unopened bottle of whisky lay inside a little note attached (enjoy.. love Clive).Carrie shivered reading the word love again, the man really knew how to make her skin crawl. Closing the drawer she needed to get out of there away from that bottle,didn't need another reason for Kelly to hate her. Grabbing her keys again she air,needed out.
